It's amazing how in the last minute she talks about what would become "Honey", her next album. It grew organically over years, based on her life's experiences at the time, and is not hit-driven at all. So she already knew in 2010 that she wanted something like this. Good job, Robyn.
Thank you so much for the subtitles for all of us English speakers! What a special treat to see this special lady behind the scenes. I have never seen an interview so real with her. Love Robyn!
She is so genuine and lovely. I would kill to se her performing live. Robyn is showing us a part of herself that many artist don't and that's so great and a reason of why I love her. I CAN'T WAIT FOR THE NEXT ALBUM!!!
Its amazing to witness this artist evolve and grow a fan base that appreciates how true she is to herslef without having to create hype around her or be a character just to make/sell pop records. To me she is a combination of Madonna and Bjork.
BEAUTIFUL! WATCHED ALL 4 PARTS AND I REALLY ENJOYED IT! THANK YOU FOR UPLOADING IT AND PROVIDING THE ENGLISH CAPTION! AND ROBYN WE LOVE YOU! YOU'RE BEYOND AMAZING!
Yes! Thanks for uploading and with the subtitles. I'm glad that she has a good head of where she is. That she doesn't want to be a huge star like Madonna that she and her dad knows will probably completely consume her. I see her by watching this akin to a progressive rock performer back in the 70s and 80s. She does it for the music not for the fame. I do wish though that she plays her songs from the 1st 3 albums in her shows. She has so many good songs on those albums.
I wish she would release a "finished" version of that demo ("Dancing On My Own"). I think it sounds so much more melancholic. Thanks a lot for uploading and translating. Robyn is the most KILLINGEST in Pop History! :)
I love listening to songs when they are in their early stages before it becomes the final product. I loved the melody of Dancing On My Own before she came up with the rest of the lyrics. I know this word gets thrown around alot but she's a genius! Her raw take on melody is so beautiful
Since there are only 44 comments, I read all of them. I have to say, all are pretty great, and I agree with most, if not all of them. This documentary will serve as a testament to her success.
Fame is not something I'm all that fascinated with usually but to see it through an artist I enjoy like Robyn, the ups, the downs, and the process to what it serves is fascinating--she is so cute too lol. thx for the translation
LOL @ her producer saying she used to "wail". Honestly Robyn has such a dynamic voice it she be heard not restricted. I hope she works with a few new producers that encourage her vocal freedom again.
Reinventing herself, becoming an icon -who would've guessed.. I certainly did not back in 97! I like the fact that she gave us that bitchslap..lol. #robynkonichiwa
I'm very curious as to why she never really made it in america even with her recent hits that have been featured on the HBO show Girls, etc. I went to a Coldplay show she opened for literally just to see her and almost no one was in the crowd, it was so sad. I mean this was a huge show! and it felt as if my friend and I were the only ones there, dancing alone in the corner.. really :( haha
I think it's due to becoming a big talent as music changed from CD to digital mp3. She did make it big in the states though. Everyone here would know who Robyn is, legend status. I don't know why there would be low attendance at the show you went to. the way the music industry is now if you did a web search for new stuff you would probably be stuck with a bunch of tattoo faces. If I wanted to discover someone new there would be no where to look. MTV isnt music anymore and the radio is ad space with 10 songs on rotation and Robyn isn't on the list. It is sad. I think she is still the cutest talented thing I've ever seen.
@elvickRULES I thought the same thing. Interesting to hear a different and more "sad" version of Dancing on my own. The demo of Bum like you is cool also.

And, following this continued touring, and some great work and touring again with Royksopp.
I loved this whole documentary, and I love how her goal isn't to make millions or be the biggest pop star but just to make honest, heartfelt music
Thank you so much for the subtitles for all of us English speakers! What a special treat to see this special lady behind the scenes. I have never seen an interview so real with her. Love Robyn!

Smart chick with a lot of talent. She should have no problem doing her music as long as she wants and her fan base will grow continuously.
This is so great. It's amazing hearing the demos for Dancing On My Own and Bum Like You. Thanks for taking the time to upload and subtitle this!

AND ROBYN WE LOVE YOU! YOU'RE BEYOND AMAZING!
Been a fan since konichiwa. Even more so after watching this. I know this may sound creepy but if I ever met Robyn I would give her a big hug.

Robyns father is a very wise and smart guy!

Thank you so much for the subtitles! :D
Robyn is the best.
Thanks for uploading!
Robyn! You're an amazing artist!
seen it before but was nice to see it again, thank you very much for the subtitles.

I really really love you. My lambs, my life.

Some love lasts forever ❤️💙. For all of you. I love so many. You are special ❣️ people toe
So inspiring!!!!
Love you sis
that old version of "bum like you" sounds a little bit like "konichiwa bitches"
men åh, det kändes som att den inte var riktigt slut där. men en jäkligt bra dokumentär! och en ännu bättre robyn!
You have such a original look.

"So when you feel like it's all pretend, then you look into her eyes..." :)
@camogielegend it seems to be the beat of don't fucking tell me what to do, but without the vocals and some different sounds
She is sticking to her guns, and that is what its all about for me.
@elvickRULES

Original acid girl
Okay...am I the ONLY one who thinks the raw version of "Bum like You" sounds better than the album versions?
@1JorgeJara I agree on all counts!
Robyn...Robyn I dont like you hanging out with that man...esp alone...
Why don't they do a single, a superhit in swedish? It would be nice for a next album :)
@camogielegend
Don't Fucking Tell Me What To Do
I mean, this is the title of the song
Whose that man Robyn??? Guy in the studio?? Someone I should maybe know about??? AM
she's mine dude. dont even try
Let Robyn Decide. Robyn?
