Never really got iinto the Neville brothers but i came across this concert. Man its badass! Spearheaded by the big bear with a voice like an angel. Of course Gregg Allman is a legend R.I.P I dig that Ivan Neville tune. good lyrics and rough voice. 2 anyone and everyone who has seen this clip.......cheers my friends. LONG LIVE GOOD MUSIC
I saw the Neville Brothers first time in NYC on the Pier, then in Charlotte, NC several times. Would love to see one of those shows. Great lineup for this concert! Wish I was there!
WONDERFUL!! When you could still see the Nevilles in a small setting. (The days when I could see them every night at Tipitina's even more long gone.) Great sound, and what a good job of mixing it up with all their friends. I couldn't believe I was seeing Herbie Hancock back there -- how cool is that??? My only gripe is that Bonnie didn't get a solo song. (Same at that grammy show years later when all the Grammy guys jammed without her.) Finally -- I WANT THAT TABASCO BASS I saw behind Buckwheat!!
I agree..I first saw them "double bill" with Robert Palmer in the late 80's.. beyond greatest expectations!! ❤ Robert Palmer was extremely great in his his performance.. I've seen Bonnie Rait solo.. magical .. Such a vocalist!!
@@michellerjackson5776 I've seen Bonnie several times -- wonderful. There was a great Blues Caravan at the Beacon with her, BB King,The Nevilles, Keb Mo, Dr John, Double Trouble. How great was that?! Sorry I never got to see Robert Palmer live though. Great voice & arrangements -- he always looked so neat, to be so FUNKY!
Im so happy that I found this! I heard this on a VHS tape in early 90's and I only knew it was Bonnie and one of the Nevill Brothers. I didn't even know the name of the song that I fell in love with, "Falling Out of Love"!! Beautiful song and lyrics and having Bonnie sing ......well I fell in love!!!!! Thank you for uploading this. The entire set was great. Dennis Quaid and Ed Bradley. WOW. Who knew! Made my week.
Sorry bout that GREG..The white suit was when I spotted you Strolling down Bourbon Street with The Beautiful Legendary CHER...Love&Peace luv ya byo eJ 😊
