I'm surprised that "Boy Meets World" didn't get an honorable mention. The series finale, titled "Brave New World" was an iconic episode that drew in a crowd of 17.1 million. One of the greatest moments was at the end when Cory, Shawn, Topanga, and Eric say their final goodbyes to Mr. Feeny, and even though he refuses to tell them he loves them while they're present, after they leave Mr. Feeny looks around the empty classroom and says the final line of the series: "I love you all. I may have caught an episode or two, but I never bothered to keep up with the characters or what they were doing. So I would see an episode and wonder, "Who's that?" or "Why's she doing that?" It was too hard to watch most programs regularly. The exceptions are, of course, MASH, plus All In The Family, Happy Days, and Star Trek: The Next Generation (which I loved but always thought was a dumb name). I object to the somewhat sneering tone of the discussion on The Fugitive’s finale - especially the comment that “there were many fewer viewing options back then.” The Fugitive finale pioneered wrapping up a series with a concluding episode (most series in those days just went off the air with no special conclusion) and every other finale on this list owes it a debt of gratitude. Viewing options or not, this episode held the record for a series television audience until the Who Shot JR episode of Dallas. Plus, it’s a great and satisfying finale. Give it the respect it deserves!

I remember Seinfeld’s finale vividly, even though I was in my early teens. I was young, but I was obsessed with the show and still love it to death to this day. And yeah, the finale kinda sucked. It was not about how we “became” aware how “bad” the four are, but it was just such an incredibly boring episode. I haven’t rewatched the finale to this day, even though I’ve owned the series on VHS, DVD and on Blu-Ray. Now with streaming too, I rewatch my favorite episodes occasionally, but I just cannot bring myself to watch the finale.

Minor correction: Happy Days "unaired" episodes did not debut in syndication but on ABC, the first run network for Happy Days. The reason they din not air at their originally schedule time was that during the final season of Happy Days (1984), ABC held the rights to the 1984 Olympics and preempted a couple of first run episodes Happy Days for the Olympics. Then during the Spring they decided to debut a mid-season replacement called A.K.A. Pablo (staring comedian Paul Rodriguez) that only ran for six episodes before being canceled. These two events meant that ABC was unable to air 5 episodes of the final season of Happy Days at their regular time slot. so they instead choose to show the season finale at the regular time and date but show the unaired episodes during the summer/fall of 1984. These never debuted in syndicated as you stated but because of the unusual practice of airing preempted first run episodes during the season finally ended debuting after the series finally. I'm guessing they felt it was more important to show the series finally during it's normally expected time slot & date rather then delay it to summer when fewer people typically watch TV. Diehard Happy Days fans probably either watch the unaired episodes during the summer at the time of airing or they set their VCR's to record the episodes if they weren't home then.
