Hero is yet to develop its in house self made engine. All this engines are reworked Honda engines . 160 , 250 , 400 all Honda. Taking cues form Ducati & other doesnt make best of R&D
Agree, their bikes are now getting better in terms of looks and performance. I guess Xtreme 160 onwards there is consistently. Slow, but steady and I like it👍

We love to buy them but our government keeps on implementing new tax regimes because of which it becomes difficult for a middle call person to buy a 125 cc scooty which is sad as in other countries the benefits are more and taxes are justifiable
Is the engine reliable and what about the service centres, they should at least charge more, train their mechanics properly so that people can trust the engine. Right now both the engine and service centre are pathetic.

Sequential indicators are one of the worst things to have happened in the name of "modernization". They are really a safety hazard. It takes significantly longer to notice them blinking as compared to regular indicators. I've faced this multiple times. On the road, many important decisions are taken in split seconds and this delay is quite dangerous. I hope authorities realize this and put regulations in place. It should be there only in concept vehicles because apart from looking cool, it adds nothing of practical use.
I like how these people are calling Xoom 160 a 'proper' maxi scooter. We don't have a maxi scooter in India (other than the bmw C400 gt, which no one's buying). Like the machine though.
First they should train their service center technician before this they can't even properly service a xpulse 4v regretting after buying that 💯💯💯 still in service center over a month Shit
All these new launches but the service experience is going to be rubbish, at their toilet looking service centres and no spare parts availability will suck on the newer models. Xpulse 200 owner here.

Xtreme 250 with same power numbers as duke 250, looks promising and with less price as well.
New Duke 250 has SOHC engine while Xtreme 250R has DOHC, yet both make 30 hp. That's nuts.

that is directly lifted from the super splendor bs6, they are not exactly the same but quite similar.
Well the 160 is more 'touring' focused and halogens are better in that case
Hero should make larger capacity motorcycles and compete globally. I think to start with they can go with a 4-500 cc bike
