The main advantage that Xpulse had was it's trail friendliness, it's gone now. I have an expulse. I can ride it on trails and twisties without any care. Even if it falls or I take a tumble the bike doesn't get damaged easily. Trust me I have tried it. The new one won't have this advantage. It's been turned into a touring/adv motorcycle. Xpulse has always been a cheap to buy and run trail bike. It's too heavy for that now. Also if you would want to take for some serious off-road fun, you'll need to add a radiator guard. Even then you'll have to be careful. And if it gets damaged, be ready for a big bill. Complex machinery is not better for trail riding or for learning how to ride off road.
Oh my god this is such a well explained comment. I agree 100% and I would also like to add that there are very few trail riding enthusiast in India. Maybe that’s why Hero has decided to take a turn towards more adventure focused consumers. If you ask me I’ll keep my 2022 200 4v for trails and enduro and if finances works out will get the 421 Xpulse specifically for touring. Although the 24bhp and rally edition in the 210 is alluring might help while double blips you know….
You may be right in your experience but, I don't think repair bill can be that big for such a motor cycle, hell even 400cc class motorcycle don thave that repair or maintenance cost. Although I agree that more gadgetory is not what is needed for off road.
@@primevigilante7259 When you go all out on trails, radiators and coolant lines are the easiest target. A coolant leak will make the bike unfit to ride. Ground clearance is definitely less than 220, plus the increased seat height 😒. In my opinion they didn't do a good job placing the engine tightly in the chasis and the exaust routing. This could've been fixed with the new 250 cc engine which looks smaller in size but Nooo they want to feed us the old 210 engines which no one will buy in Karizma since now 250 is out.
