At 76 years old when one of my 338s starts to render me a little recoil sensitive I run 4 or 5 rounds through my 458 WM for perspective. Heavy recoil and hangovers have something in common; I feel so bad when I wake up EVERY morning that a bad hangover is not that much different. LOL
Yep. That's about what a man had to invest to achieve a one hole 3 shot group. Then you had to spend time and money working up a load to squeeze this kind of accuracy out of it and WHO-TEE-WHO sits down with one brand of ammo, a $230 and does it. Whaaat!! 👍🇺🇲
Excellent shooting. Have owned various .338 Winchester Magnum caliber rifles in my time, all were accurate but since I had a .375 H&H (several) always used them instead. Today the 9.3x62 takes the place of a .338 and if I want more rifle the .375. However for a one rifle North American rifle for Elk as an example, all bear species, all the moose including the giant Alaskan variety, the .338 Winchester Magnum is an outstanding pick, plus with lighter bullets mule deer and even whitetail. For the heavy exotic game like Asian Buffalo and Nilgai Antelope both TOUGH animals the .338 Winchester Magnum is an outstanding selection.
AWESOME video WTW! Great shooting man! I’d love to see you take a whitetail or an axis (or both) with that setup. You got 3 shots in 1 hole at 100 yards, that’s outstanding! You’re ready for the hunting woods for sure! Thanks for taking us along bro, I really enjoyed it! 🤘🏽

Just an awesome feeling knowing you have your rifle dialed in to almost perfection! I love the .338 wm for larger game, as stated by other comments, it's a HARD hitter! Thanks for the video, no long winded yapping and over evaluation of the product, just shootin'! I don't think you will ever find a better bullet for that gun. CHEERS!
I used to use the same gadgets that you're using, like the lead sled and adjustable tripod's and I couldn't get anything to lineup. I was constantly adjusting elevation and windage and the best thing I found was a $35 sand bag for my buttstock to rest on and the heel of my rifle and I can group at least 2 inch MOA @100 yards. BTW, I'm shooting a model 70 super grade with the exact same ammo you're using, 338 WinMag by Norma,230 grain.
