  • A technique to invigoratingly close a Reflexology treatment - a development from techniqes inspired by Tony Porter of ART Reflexology. You could say this is the 'Finger Free Adaptation', as in Tony's origional way of working he says 'I use my finger tips of both hands separately on each foot to the K1 point (standing with back to receiver). Also I do not apply it all over the plantar areas, with the exception of one, small area which is used traditionally to promote bone regeneration.'

Thank you. This looks so useful! Just need some clients in person to work on!

Yes it invigorates. Just for the record, that is nothing like "Foot Tapping Reflexology (FTR) just in case people are wondering.

Hi Peter. No its not the same at all as this is purely for an invigorating close to a Reflexology treatment, rather than a treatment in itself.

@@DavidsReflexologyChannel Hi David. Yes I know it's totally different, but I've posted this for the benefit of others seeing it and thinking it might be like FTR.

I am interested to know what approach you would take prior to this closing technique for someone running a marathon or playing any kind of sport? Would the treatment be as aggressive? Or more gentle like a stretch?🇨🇦

Hi Kit. For sports preparation I would personally be on the firmer (not necessarily aggressive) side of Reflexology. I’d also be concentrating on the lungs, heart and the major muscles that will be called upon in whatever sport is going to be undertaken to enhance oxygen uptake and carbon-dioxide eradication.

Could this technique also be applicable to the hand 🤚?🇨🇦
