Also sidenote, about the elc even 90 being toxic, i think the biggest reason its toxic is in non-mirror match ups since the elc outclases every other light in scouting. Honestly, i think the simplest way to fix this would be to subdivide light tank roles into say, pure scouting, damage dealing, and hybrid light tanks. And then match up light tanks accordingly. Honestly i think this sort of thing would benefit all the classes so that for example, one team isnt stuck with a 50b as their only heavy while the enemies got a vk k. Only thing is idk how this would affect mm times.
ELC should have the same treatment as wheeled tanks, if enemy has one, you have one too, and given how many ELCs there are in the game, it wouldn't even be difficult

Not just the Squall, all tier 8 lights besides the EBR 75 and maybe the LT-432 will suffer unless you're playing on Himmel or Ensk (city brawls basically). I agree with a lot of people that mirror mm for the elc would at least mitigate the toxic nature of it.
I love the Squall! It's not a light tank, it's a light tank killer. You don't scout, you load HE and do a 1000 damage to the light (or Bourat) spotting your team - once it is spotted by another light or medium. (Therin lies the problem though) *Only then can you try spotting. Loading the right ammo is also very important. You WILL be spotted once you shoot, expect it. Otherwise, it is really fun to absolutely ruin other lights in 2 seconds.
I personally love the Squall, it's my favorite tier 8 light tank now. Of course it can't do the broken thing, i.e. hide in a bush and be invisible while spotting around 500m range + CVS, but it's the only tank I have that can walk up to another light tank and insta-delete them with no chance to escape. I think it's the same issue with Blyskawica, people tried to snipe on it, did 300 damage per shot and called the tank useless. Those who knew better and moved to the front line found a great tank in it. The same happens to this tank, if you try to passive spot and beat the passive spotter it's not a great tank, but if you play it aggressively it's awesome. Once people figure out how to play autocannons in the current meta, they'll become top picks I'm sure.
200 damage ... and then go on reload for 15 secs (or whatever) .... its a bad LT, with bad DPM, bad at everything... I believe WG put this into the boxes just to try people getting other tanks ... cuz this one is useless! 😐
The Even 90's toxicity doesn't end at ruining tier 6-8 lights, it also pretty much ruins tier 9 lights. That thing's been busted since equipment 2.0 was introduced.
I love the Squall. It is way better than 90 % of all Tier 8s. I play it like a the Bat Chat AP. Waiting for isolated Tanks to attack sideways. Works fine.
22:00 the real issue is that you haven't adapted to these lights in your targeting, you could have killed the KV3 and the contradictious and done damage to the track of the T32. The auto guns are propably perfect for these "sweeping" situations
I feel like that the whole Czech LTs should have just been a second medium line. I get that we already have 1 but making them mediums would allow players to focus more on the gun mechanic. Plus they wouldnt need to compete with Manticore, EBR and ELC
How would you balance the guns then? Machine gun on a medium tank wouldn't work in any way. Czech lights are very situational as well as unique and should be used as such. They can spot AND also deal tons of damage close up, just like borat. It excells in 1v1 ambushes and that is already a powerful trait for a light tank.

It's not that bad. Maybe its the maps and matches I have been in, but I play it as a hidden assassin and sneak up behind low health enemy tanks and blast them apart and move on.
I did get the Squall and the 57 in the boxes, and nothing else o0 I do have the Blesk, and don't mind it.. even 1-marked it recently. I find Czech light players will play as a Med first, and rarely spot. As with any Light, I spot then shoot later. Too many just sui-scout due to having the "brap" gun. Yes, it's not the greatest, but if you play smart, know your limitations etc, you'll be fine. Just too many folks with no patience and get antsy 3 mins into a battle o0 Thanks for sharing, Daki! I think it could totally be better, it is kinda lack luster, but somehow after like 30 games, ive managed to start doing between 1k - 2k dmg and just finishing some ennemys. Havent really used it as a light for spotting, more just for dmg and taking out tank tracks
EVEN 90 should get the EBR treatment and have mirror matchmaking and/or limitations in numbers at least. You still end up with your teammate being bad and the enemy being an absolute god gamer from the heavens destroying you, but at least there's some balance in MM.
tbh.. It's the first light tank I actually like I'm by no means a good player and yet I managed to ace it on my second ever game. I shy away from lights because I don't like their playstyle but the Squall for some reason is a tank I can do decently in
Lakeville is an easy map to play. For the South you just have to camp base and kill all the tanks coming from the city. It is very hard to dig the South out of the base. For the north team you just have to take the city and camp in the north east along the A line. The north cap is very exposed and any tank coming from the valley will get get wrecked if they try to cap.
Its nice to have for the crew xp farming for my selma/tesak other than that.. its like playing the selma a big lumbering barn thats bigger than a progetto
I prefer playing lights over the heavys cause lt's give a bit of indenpendence from team and when I play a heavy tank it's just frustrating barrage of gold ammo being shot at you. That being said Squall is a bit meh.

we already have those roles for every tank, they added this with field modifications

Yeah it sucks. Not worth playing even though it can be fun unloading a clip. Till you see did a whooping 200 damage.

what is the mod for sight, that shows you areas of the contour of enemy tank, which are hidden from your fireline ?

Yes, I've been very invested in the game, made a popular Mod pack for a couple of years, and wanted the game to be better, and I defended some mods that some people thought were cheats which weren't actually, because they didn't give you info you couldn't know in some other way, thus didn't break the cheat rule. So ya, I have a lot of haters, which apparently you're one. I want the game to be better, not crap like you all.

Я смотрел стрим иностранного игрока в танки(щас частенько смотрю), там ему наш по всей видимости что то написал не очень(иностранцы тоже бывают пишут), так это игрок такой-он многим такое пишет, что теперь из за таких лишаться удовольствия что ли, если кому тяжко стримить онлайн-комп не позволяет, стримте на ж.д., потом выложите как видео, кто будет смотреть на 2-15мин. видосы, да практически никто, так что не нарничайте и играйте в случайные бои(отключите только дополнительные режимы, так попроще, однотипно-быстрее привыкаешь), вы не видели-что творилось в чатах этих игр в 2010-15гг., хохлы уже тогда там начали воевать, так что пускай не нервничают и играют побольше в онлайн, пинг только у многих скачет-двух-трёх кратно(не порядок), и почему то твич в 1080 не даёт смотреть(или это у нас, вк плей то же(хоть и зарегистрирован, тробо вообще пока труба-наладят потом)), писал-писал в чат -приглашение во взвод иностранцам-никто не принял-боятся что ли, им стоит только самих себя боятся, а не русских.
