You clearly havent seen toyotaros recent artwork if thats ur opinion, like, you can have your own opinion but, that isnt what toyotaros art style looks like right now
It's kind of crazy that they are so similar and yet so different. Toriyama's features are a lot more edged and sharp but the hair is wavy and flowing. Toyotaro's is inverted. The body looks more rounded and less edged but the hair does and has more featured strands to it.
@@thesupremeking9884 I like Z more than super lol. I just find it funny that people cling onto the past and hate new stuff that is just as cool. But that’s just my opinion anyway.
I prefer Toriyamas version better because gokus hair and body looks much more fluid and you can envision visual movement. As for Toyotaro, his style looks much more stiff and you rarely ever see Gokus hair flail in the wind in Dragon Ball Super. Either way, both artists are exceptional!
The anime you mean? The drawings are not made by tori-toyo. I like both, however, Toyo makes more emphasis on anatomical correctness, which Toriyama often lacked. Whereas Toriyama is way better in dramatic scenes and action sequences. A small tradeoff from one to another.
I used to watch your video's at school when i was bored and just coming back to watch this video now after 3 years is just very nostalgic. Your drawing's are amazing man, keep up the work.
Sad how Tadayoshi Yamamuro was thrown to the side even though he did most of z, and the only main reason people hated supers artstyle wasn’t even because of the drawing but because of the color, if you swap dbs color to match z you will realize that the artstyle is similar it’s just anime this day just forgot the rule of color making everything look like plastic
They both look great but I have to side with toriyama's style it just look more majestic to look at and igz in a way it captures how cool and serious Super Saiyan is supposed to be, but all in all they both look great, hands down 👌🏼👏🏼💯🔥🔥
Toriyama's style in the first Z sagas was to make the characters like big inflatable dolls that had muscles, currently it was Toriyama who told Toyotaro that the physical should not be so overloaded.
There are certain differences in the both cases. Toriyama is very talented artist but makes the character look more bloodsheded but in this too his drawing of the body and hairs are superb than Toyotaro's. The hairs he draws are not stable while fighting or wind like the ones in real life and the body is too similar to the real life. Now, about Toyotaro he is also very talented artist but his way of thinking is different. He fills a lot of stuff in the body which is quite small than the face. He uses science and never make the body look more bloodsheded but red in the place of hitting as the muscular body doesn't bleed more but clots the bloods there itself. But here is a plot twist, the both are zayne's art. I just suggest you, zayne that you can draw the style of toriyama and Toyotaro both together which will make a fantastic look of them. Waiting for your next video...!
Oye si es cierto compañero, aunque el Toriyama de los 90s tenía su propio estilo, ahora el dibujo del manga es más limpio.... (Desde mí punto de vista)
Nice artwork man... I have always preferred toriyama's way of shading dbz characters only because toyotara's looks sort of plastic, but love the way they both design the characters.
Contrary to most people, I actually like the direction that the art style went into. Toyotaro toned down the bulk but kept the visual definition. I don’t think he has done something that could be considered “timeless” yet, such as the first super saiyan transformation from Toriyama, but I definitely like his character designs. When I watched DBZ as a kid and saw the sheer difference from the Frieza saga to the designs of our heroes in the Buu saga, I loved the direction the art style was going in. Toyotaro seems to have kept that spirit alive
Both are superb artists in their own right. To put in simpler terms, it is quite literally Old School vs New School, and that is clearly portrayed excellently by this artist here. Outstanding work, Bud. You could most certainly be the artist for a manga or a Webtoon creator that has a story fully laid out and just needs an outstanding artist to capture his literary work with putting pictures to the words. Anyways, got a new fan and just subscribed! Keep at it, bruv.
Toriyama makes the hair look like its being lifted by all the energy goku is emitting while toyotaro looks like the transformation makes the hair stand up on its own kinda like the way static does for us
I remember drawing my first Goku at 8 years old my reference for Goku was the cover of Budakai Tenkaichi and like few months ago I tried digital drawing and Manga Goku was my first complete Digital Drawing but I did partially my own style

Hey guys😁 let me know what you think✌
Pretty cool and good drawing as always
Always amazing

I think you forgot to put the music in the description
Name of musics, please
Toriyama’s really captures the Hero Image, hair flowing great pose. Toyotaro’s is good but it doesn’t hold the same weight

Nothing wrong with simple if it works like it does
You gotta remember that you're comparing Toyotaro to Freeza Arc Toriyama. Toyotaro takes from Buu Saga Toriyama
