The issue I have with jump-starter - compressor or any 2-in-1 battery tool is if one thing goes bad, to me, it's not useful, a throw away. I have to NOCO BG40 and I have the Ryobi inflator. I also picked up a discontinued Ryobi 18v charger for the car cigarette lighter, cheap. I can leave the chargers plugged in all the time and they top off when I drive the vehicle a couple times a week. Plus with the Ryobi platform, I can always leave a spare drill, which I have spares. I also have a separate rechargeable inflator, that a vendor gave us as part of a Christmas stocking. Goes well with the e-cargo bike. 😁 Don't get me wrong, I like the 2-in-1 solutions and may get one if the NOCO dies, but... lol Sorry, just my usual rambles. lol
I like the concept of 2:1 inflator & jumper but I have to question how long the inflator will run. PF tested inflators and the smaller ones were prone to overheating. I worry that trying to cram 2 tools into a small volume would compromise the inflator. I'd have to see test results before I'd bite. PS: @Da Bear, NM when referring to torque wrenches is newton-meters, metric version of pound-feet. For lasers, nanometers might apply. 😊
Ditto on this. Inflaters are quick to die on these milti fcn devices. I buy the smallest form factor items of the best power and quality device and chuck the ones that crap out. I buy mostly ryobi and greenworks and have multiple batteries and chargers so I can leave at several project locations. BTW, FOR inside track members the 100ft 10/3 yellow extension is on sale under $100 until 8/1 at H.F.. YES it has illuminated plugs on each end with triple outlet end.
Vacmaster used to make some of the best external and chambered food vacuum packers. My SVP 5 is 20 years old and has never failed, just well made in USA. My VP112 chambered, though made in China, has performed flawlessly for years and I vacuum pack constantly.
The thing about those jump starters is you probably have to have some type of rigged up charging system in the back to make sure they’re charged when you need them. Maybe newer vehicles have some place to hook them up to somewhere in the back to get power. Even lithium batteries can lose their charge over time. As far as the drill holders, the best drill holder is the kind that you make yourself out of pvc. Smooth, easy, and not freaking upside down.
I might have to look into that air duster. Ryobi came out with that compact blower recently and I bought one. The thing is the perfect size and power to air dry your vehicles (especially my motorcycle... so many nooks and crannies) instead of having one of those big units, so I feel like the air duster is doing something similar.
i picked up the Ego blower/trimmer combo kit earlier this week because it had a $50 off online deal going on at ace hardware, i was shocked at how much air it's turbo button can make it throw
Amazon can’t deliver items when I order Prime anymore, ordered Gorilla Cart last Thursday for delivery Saturday, item made it to Kentucky Amazon and then got notified item being shipped back to seller. Wouldn’t ship another one until I wait 3 more days. Just went to Home Depot and bought both Gorilla carts local. If I don’t give them that extended delivery lately, Amazon can’t deliver on time for prime. I’m done with Amazon.
I swear by the Trond surge protectors. Low profile right angle plugs, metal case, now they added usb-c ports along with usb-a right on the power strip. They have a simple design that's no frills, just works.
You mentioned timing on some of these deals, curious the best timing for Milwaukee purchases at HD? Missed out on a special buy for the right angle die grinder with two batteries for $229, now looking at a package with the die grinder and oscillating tool with battery. Should I wait for Black Friday though?
Are we gonna get a link/review on that combo breakfast cereal and jumper pack? I drive by your house twice a week and I'll buy it off you after you test it.
The Ryobi pressure washer comes with a really nice hose. More flexible than your standard black hose, which makes it less likely to kink. A friend of mine has this model. Great price for a 3100 psi pressure washer with a Honda engine.
Not a huge line up but I'm always looking for Disston Tools. Many are made in the USA(or maybe I just keep buying the vintage stuff), been around since the 1800's.
Hey tool bear do you know if harbour freight is going to come out with the icon pliers wrench in 7’’? I have the 10’’ and it’s great but I need a little bit of a smaller set of a pliers wrench for smaller tasks. Rather than the so expensive Knipex 7 1/4’’ pliers wrench which is I think going for 60 dollars.
Dewalt recently had a buy one get a gift sale at HD. I got an atomic 3/8 with a 5 ah battery for $210. Not a great deal but it was enough for me to get it lol.
Samoan band and phoenix on left leg. Dual compass rose on upper chest. S&W with "Keep & Bear" on inside of right arm. Anchor+Cross+Heart "Faith, Hope, & Charity" on left.
About those Wiha screwdrivers. It was always strange to me that you very rarely see insulated screwdrivers on american YT channels, in Europe they are quite commonplace even in non, electrical trades. As for these particular ones, most manufacturers have stopped selling this kind of insulated screwdriver alltogether, and now you see drivers that have insulation that is the same diameter as the tip of the screwdriver (to get into special eletrical setups and also you wont scratch the insulation that much), it looks like they started to dump their stock of old drivers on american market. But its still a deal, the drivers would cost way more before for 29 bucks you wouldnt be able to buy 2, let alone a whole set.
If you know anything about cooking, I'd recommend that you don't touch that fake nakiri knife. One glance at it and I could tell that the people that made it don't know anything about making Japanese style knives, or regular chef's knives either. It's too thick behind the edge.
It’s a booster, not a dead battery cure. I agree about cable gauge being too small, but They work if you left your lights on and got the battery down to say 11.2 volts. It has enough power to get it started but it will require a functioning alternator/generator to actually get the charge in the system back up. A lot of newer cars require a full battery to start because of all the electrical systems that have to be powered up before the vehicle is ABLE to be cranked over
@@denoftools the amp draw because the amperage is what produces heat. I have melted zero gauge cables before while using a pipe thawing machine that runs on 24 V.
@@liquidrockaquatics3900 My understanding is that is a misconception and that the total watts is the real arbitrator. Well that and resistance. As such, a run this sort should not be an issue. I'll find out soon enough as I just got my mitts on load tester and I'm about to run all of these through it.

Agreed. I picked up a combo compressor / jump starter over 20 years ago. Compressor died after 1 use. Too gimcky for me.

So glad I watch your videos. I just scored the rigid saw for under $400!
The wings suck, there aluminum. I actually ditched this for the dewalt job site saw. Make sure you register the warranty, be ready to use it.

That electric compressed air thing is going into my tool box asap, I need that in my life.
Jeff you made me LOL WITH THE ‘nine toe Fred’ comment!👍🏼

I put a reminder in my phone to charge them every 4 months.
Red, you CANNOT send a kid to school with a bag that says "Tool's Bag". They'll get eaten alive!
Did your MOMMY pack your tooool bag today? 😅 i can hear my old classmates 😂😂
Ext. cord with the power indicater light is a must have.

Hi Red, I bought a Topdon jump starter you recommended.
It works like a dream!!!
Thanks for the recommendation.

I still own and use 2 scythes, both came from my maternal great grandfather.

Good information I already had the rigid contractor saw in my cart. !
I just recently came up on your channel. I must have been living under a rock, Love your channel and Thanks for the great info👍
I actually have a scythe and it's very useful. LOL
Been needing to replace my torque wrench for a while. Now it's on its way.
Thank you.

Thanks, been keeping an eye out for a SAE/Metric socket set for the basement. The Dewalt one looks decent enough. Like that it's all in 1 case too.
Thanks! I didnt need a bosch laser level but now I have one!

For jump pack get a Jump N Carry JNC 345 and HD Husky 12 vdc inflator.
I almost bought that Matebo miter saw when it was on sale for $90 on prime day
Glowie plug = Must have
The ego deal is gone already
Even my wife came with a jump starter!
Can you do a review on circuit tracers like klien, ideal , triplett 40:30 and and amprobe and others. Thank you very much. God bless u and family.
Husky tripod light, looks like the same product and they usually have it for $49.99
My shoulder hurts from swinging those big old Estwing framing hammers u love before nail guns came around.🤣
I resisted nail guns for way too long.
@@denoftools I find both are essential. Actually, it's all six: Framing, Roofing, Finish, Brad, and Pin nailers. And yes, I swing an Estwing.

A professional grade Autel is like 4-5K.
You may be laughing at the scythe, but why is it a straight handle??

I want a tire compressor i can set the psi and leave it to do it's thing... that is also a jumpstarter.
At 14:42 , that's "Newton-meters" (metric torque units)
Wow, I did say nanometers that’s weird
What kinda tats you got Red? Ive bought 3-4 of those metabo 10” miter saws

Who would have guessed the first item would have been another jump starter so predictable
What? You've never planted a rock seed before? I grow all my rocks this way.
Red, are we ever going to see a corded or cordless air hammer? It's like the last tool that is still pneumatic only (along with sand blaster)
SDS hammers can do the same thing but not at the size you will get with an air hammer.
the garden tool organizer had me with the scythe
Why is it straight handled???
@@joshuaguenin9507 that's a goooooood question cause they normally have a very curved handle

Hey now! I got three scythes..... In case of company.
Been looking for a good scythe... any deals?
Can't remember the last time I saw one on sale.
More Skil 20v pwrcore tools please.

When I look at the apparent gauge of the wires to the clamps on this jump starter and most others, I call BS.

Nm = Newton Meters not nanometers that’s not a thing
Are you sure I said nanometers and not Newton meters. I didn’t get going pretty fast so it might be hard to tell.
have not seen you in a while.. moved to Puerto Rico ... Where is the bear
Sorry to burst your bubble, but he was the bear... all along!
