This is an incredible video, thank you! I love the focus on certifications being tools, but to focus on providing actual value and being able to do things in the cloud. It's about YOU, not the cert. Love it!
Fantastic video -- I had passed the cloud practitioner exam and was trying to figure out which of the associate level certifications to take. Even better, it explained the reasons and content of each cert in detail.
I’m currently studying for the AWS CCP exam. I wasn’t sure which cert I should afterwards. This video helped me decide! A lot of useful info given in this video! Awesome video! Thank you!
Awesome video! I am just getting started with cloud learning and this video cleared all my doubts. I got to learn many things I didn't even know about. It's an underrated video for sure.
I have just started my cloud journey and preparing for my AWS Cloud Practitioner Certs this video is very informative clear many doubts on AWS CERT's journey it helps people like me who is completely new to Cloud
hi, there would you please explain if this course is for someone completely new. I don't have much knowledge about IT but would like to do this as a new carrier. Please share your knowledge many thanks Badri
This is the best overview of the AWS certification landscape that I've seen. I agree with the value of the trifecta. In fact, it's informed me that I should probably put the sysops associate on my own roadmap.
Tons of thanks for this video. I was planning to start cloud journey since long but was not having right path guidance. Luckily I came across this video and Its a blessing for me. I got clear understanding of where to start and how to progress further. Great Job!!! keep up the good work.
Thanks for your time and all info that you gave about all roles/ cert in Cloud. I’m from France without IT degree (I have a accounting degree) and I would like to work in Cloud filed as an Solution Architect in Australia, where I live. I just would like to thank you for your clarity which was very important to me! THANKS!!!!
Amazing video! Great overview of AWS certification paths! But, just a doubt: where did you get this awesome cup, man? Share this information with us, too!
This is an instrumental video to help decide a certification path. Thank you so much. But when it comes to job, most job roles expect years of experience, irrespective of great knowledge on all the cloud concepts and certifications, how do we tackle this? Would love to see your advice on this...
Why picture about direction in Introduction is from Country of Georgia? It's random picture from WWW or there is some reason? Anyway thank you for this :)
This is exquisite material. A similar book I read was a revelation. "AWS Unleashed: Mastering Amazon Web Services for Software Engineers" by Harrison Quill
I'm infatuated with this. I had the pleasure of reading something similar, and I was completely infatuated. "Mastering AWS: A Software Engineers Guide" by Nathan Vale
Great Video and congrats on 100k subscribers. The only thing I think is missing in an overview video like this is recertification. I understand costs and years may differ as time goes on, but I would have mentioned that pro recertifies associate..etc.
As someone with a ccna vmware Linux and python automation background in networking , which you say the solutions architect and sysops them architect pro and advanced networking will be a worth while path?loved the video man!
Nice overview. The hands on labs of the "Personal Basic" membership use a sandboxed environment just like the sandboxes of the "Personal Plus" membership?
@Mattias Andersson thank you very much for your prompt response. I just completed the cloud Practitioner certification and I will choose acloudguru training for the next one.
I have no IT background. Would it be helpful or even preferred if started with an entry level network cert like Comptia network plus or would starting with AWS Cloud Practionier make more sense?
Is learning AWS too hard for a complete beginner? I am reading alot online about getting the basic comptia certifications first before getting any AWS. What are your thoughts on this? I am a complete beginner & don't want to waste my time jumping into AWS if I need other certifications first to better understand it.
Hard to believe that now I have to do everything... plan, develop the software, monitoring and maintenance.... all for the same salary... but we have to adapt to the times and survive...
I watch these videos because I just like ACG videos :) However, its always confusing selecting the order between the professionals, networking and security specialties. So close to passing the networking one, but stopped that to go to devops pro. But unsure if I should change.
Thank you so much for the video sir ...iam basically a business development associate (marketing) .but iam holding computer science degree ....my question is getting an cloud practitioner and solution architect certs will get a entry lvl job in field of cloud ? ...
Yeah I'm feeling intimidated by this plan. But may play around with it to see if I like it/have the talent for it. also at 41:10 - "If life were a video game." According to Elon Musk we're living in a simulation so maybe I really do need to learn this. Thank you
Hi thxs for this video. I am currently working as senior automation test engineer so which certificate would be suitable for me. can u pls guide in this regard
hi, there would you please explain if this course is for someone completely new. I don't have much knowledge about IT but would like to do this as a new carrier. Please share your knowledge many thanks Badri
I would say that if you are excited about containers and K8s, then those could indeed help you on your journey. That said, I believe that the future of cloud tech lies with Serverless, instead. We want to shift as much responsibility as we can to the cloud providers, and that includes clusters and orchestration. Containers may well be used as a way to package up apps with dependencies, but I'd still consider it more of an incidental than a focus area. Of course this is only my perspective on the *general* value, and some *specific* situations could *definitely* benefit from expertise like this.
The thing is i am really good at coding, i know multiple programming languages including python, java and more. I want to specialize in cloud, but i am not sure which approach should i take to utilize my programming skills. Could someone tell me what AWS specialty focuses more on coding?
where do i get the training from as i am new and have been contacting a few colleges they have different fees, one said @1500 another 6K don't understand the format and it's all online. does online and face-to-face class certificates different ?
Hello! After Cloud Practitioner, I would definitely recommend you follow it up by getting the Solutions Architect Associate. Next, you could optionally get the Developer Associate. After that, definitely *don't* skip the SysOps Admin Associate before jumping into the Advanced Networking Specialty. I hope this helps!
You certainly can make use of AWS and their certs without any coding expertise. That said, keep an open mind and keep your eyes peeled for opportunities to grow some skills in templating, scripting, and eventually coding. Those will help you advance your career.
Can it help? Sure! Will it guarantee one, by itself? No. Every real-world job involves more than just technology, and more so when the technology component is higher-level and more basic, like the Cloud Practitioner is. But if a person has abilities in, say, project management or leadership or administration or software development or quality control or whatever, then adding something like Cloud Practitioner to that set of abilities can make a huge impact on the person's effectiveness in a role in the IT industry and therefore also their job prospects. I hope this helps you better-understand the job market and make your own path forward!
5:38 - 6:10 I couldn't have said this better, especially to those that are told to jump right into taking the CCNA because it's labeled as "entry level", etc. One would ask them, "Are you really ready for this certification or are you going by what you hear instead of what you should research?" The same could be said of "Network+." Point in case: there are other, more fundamentally sound, certs one could take before jumping right in, for example, to networking. I think that's a best choice for many in training before climbing that mountain🧗♀⛰🧗🏽♂, particularly, AWS Certified Advanced Networking. 11:07 - 11:22 This is my objective. That's what I struggle to tell IT professionals. Instead they'll say just focus on '👉🏽this' or 'that👈🏽' one, albeit, regardless of them (not) knowing what specific path one is seeking to take. 11:35 - 11:50 My point exactly❗💯 31:10 - 31:16 "...it's really a DevOps world out there." Or is it really a DevSecOps world out there "regardless of particular organizations or titles?"🤔💡
Hello, thank you for this amazing informative video, if you don't mind giving an advise, please help me with my decision to dive into security path.!! I have a bachelor degree in computer science (3years), I have experience in networking and (have CCNA), i have knowledge of oracle DBA, I had learned web development. currently working as technical support for one of the top 100 company, have A+ and Security + certification. with all that being said, how would my decision to study aws security help me with my future career pursuit. Thank you
Update to those that want to take the course. I have the course and some of the course (the follow along is not up to date) so disappointed. This is aws we taking about, how can they not update the course and keep up with aws Cloud. There is alot of missing step when u try to follow along. Some page in the course won't look the same as the Cloud the course is showing you. Waste of time.
Boss communication and transitions. + video editing
No one does it better than A Cloud GURU. Thanks for this out of this world order of video
The typical experince graph at 07:54 was spot on....I was amazed.
This is an incredible video, thank you! I love the focus on certifications being tools, but to focus on providing actual value and being able to do things in the cloud. It's about YOU, not the cert. Love it!
This is explained so well, idk how there are so few views, beginning my AWS journey onto potentially DevOps and this helped immensely
Thank you!

Great Overview! Thank you A Cloud Guru and Mattias.

Nice video. Don't watch it just as a separate video, do some AWS practice simultaneously.
thanks amazing video
What is the chance of landing remote jobs with these skillsets?
Hard to believe that now I have to do everything... plan, develop the software, monitoring and maintenance.... all for the same salary... but we have to adapt to the times and survive...

@Mattias Andersson i changed because i took the exam 3 times and got the same exact score! No matter how long i was waiting inbetween.
Thxxxxx Thxxxxx Thxxxxx.. Awesomeness yes awesome...
Hello, this is a great video thanks a lot. Following this path without degree it is possible to get a job? Thank you.

Hey there! Thanks for the video! What’s the difference taking cloud computing / database classes at a local CC vs going through a cloud guru pathway?
Hi thxs for this video. I am currently working as senior automation test engineer so which certificate would be suitable for me. can u pls guide in this regard

The Typical Experience chart is so true lol
In the AWS superhero path, if add the Docker (DCA) & Kubernetes (CKA) along the way would be more perfect?
I would say that if you are excited about containers and K8s, then those could indeed help you on your journey. That said, I believe that the future of cloud tech lies with Serverless, instead. We want to shift as much responsibility as we can to the cloud providers, and that includes clusters and orchestration. I have completed az 900 n dp 900, should i have to complete aws cloud practitioner or shall i jump into solutions architect?

where do i get the training from as i am new and have been contacting a few colleges they have different fees, one said @1500 another 6K don't understand the format and it's all online. does online and face-to-face class certificates different ?
0:25 you did, point me in the right direction and step the f back baby because im a loaded gun
My main goal is to get the advanced network cert, I am a cloud practitioner so which certification would be the best for me to follow?
Is it really necessary to have coding expertise to utilise the any AWS certification?
You certainly can make use of AWS and their certs without any coding expertise. That said, keep an open mind and keep your eyes peeled for opportunities to grow some skills in templating, scripting, and eventually coding. Those will help you advance your career.

Hello,
thank you for this amazing informative video, if you don't mind giving an advise, please help me with my decision to dive into security path.!!

31:02 says it all.
You could do cartoon voiceovers
Heh! That sounds like fun! Are you producing any cartoons, perchance?
Is the volume really low for anybody else? I can barely hear him most of the video
One dislike from CloudAcademy.
Now one from me 😂
36:20
And here I am struggling on 1 cert. XD
plus I'm also broke XD
