My dad would've loved that. Mom and I were always cold and turning it up. Dad would come in and say who's been turning this up? Mom and I would just look at each other and giggle. He liked to keep it at 65 in the winter like the lady in the story. We also lived in an old house with a furnace in the basement and dad always feared it would run out of water and blow if we were out of town.
