Your channel is one of the very few I don’t fast forward through because your content and story telling moves along, it is funny, you two are being yourselves and there is no manufactured drama. Keep true to yourselves and enjoy the journey.
1. Your channel appeared in my feed. I like to watch similar content. 2. I subscribe to channels I want to continue to see. I like most videos I watch just as a courtesy. 3. Paid product reviews don't matter to me. If it helps you to sustain your channel. More power to you. 4. Not really a question but I would love a video just on your back stories. I know you've given out bits and pieces, but I'd like to hear your stories. (Didn't know Jay was a pilot). What draws me to a RUclips channel is the personalities of the creators. You guys appear to make a great team, and I find it interesting to watch the struggles you overcome while on this journey.
@@donjennings2975 Thank you for taking the time to respond Don. It means a lot to us. We will try to do a video in the future that gives a little more detail of both of our history. Yes I got my pilots license a while back, but I have not flown in some years because we have been full-time traveling.
I don’t mind ads so much, but you’re right, it’s all the same and I’ve not been compelled to buy things from an ad. I absolutely RESPECT that you have a belief and are sticking to it.
I think I found you guys on Vanlife. 2. I only “like and subscribe” if I like the channel. 3. I don’t mind sponsorship because I know it helps your channel. 4. Of 5. Have you guys thought about going home? Tired of squeaking by? I look forward to seeing you guys, the way you support and encourage each other❤️👍
I love when you said "we have no frickin' idea" on how you did it. I can relate. In 2022 I took my channel from 30k subs to 190k subs, from 5M views to 95M total views. How did I do that? I have no frickin' idea. It just happened. The algorithm just started pumping out the vids like crazy. Why did that happen? I have no frickin' idea. :D Good luck with the channel. It's bumpy but rewarding road if you stick with it and give it your all.
@@MEMETHELEFT Thank you for sharing your RUclips journey with us. That is impressive growth! It’s crazy how the algorithm can make or break your channel. There is no written recipe for success. Our channels fate lies in luck and determination. 🤷🏻♂️
Absolutely love watching y’all We watch a lot of vanlife/travel videos and y’all popped up in my feed. Y’all are just fun to watch. Don’t mind sponsors etc do what helps you squeak by.
Your mom told me about your adventure when you first started. I already knew you both and knew how much you love and respect each other. That’s really important. You have the vibe . I love your choices of the music that you use in your videos. I really can’t tell you how important that feature is. REALLY. It’s so interesting to see through your eyes the world I would love to see but for many reasons I never will. Keep going, I love it!
@@DeborahRensen We are glad to hear you appreciate the music choices Debbie. That is one of Aubrey’s favorite parts of making a video. It can add or take away so much. We watch some videos and you can tell they don’t put any thought into their choice of music it almost feels like they pick the first song that pops up and that’s what they go with. 🥴😂
You keep our wheels turning!! Thank you Jaime. We are inspired to keep going so we can walk some of the same streets that you have and see all the incredible things ahead. Life is too short to sit still ❤🚐💨 -AuBs
I love your channel. Love it because it is different from all the others. You share a message, document where you are, and never try to sell mattresses and other products. You are very brave to travel like you do and I love being there through your travels. Thank you for sharing your self.
@@DGFavorite That is so kind of you to say that. It is nice to see people are enjoying our journey. If we endorse any product it will be because we use it and love it. 🙏🏻❤️ Not just because someone pays us!
1. I watch a few Vanlife channels and some Sailing couples., so your channel just popped up one day 2. I don't mind a mention of "like and comment", as I know those two things really help push a video into more peoples feeds 3. I've got RUclips Premium, so I don't see any RUclips ads, and I really wouldn't mind you having a single sponsor ad, as I know they can really help out much more than youtube's $10 per video.... 4. "if you weren't on this adventure to Argentina, where do you think you would be and what would you be doing?? Overall.. just keep it simple, honest and fun.. love watching your exploration "on the road less traveled", love the conversation from the back of the van...
@@brettallenthomas Thanks for the feedback Brett. We enjoy watching a few sailing channels as well. Not sure how much money people are making from sponsorships. It’s got to be a decent amount. We will answer your question in an up and coming video. 🙏🏻
I like the candor. I have watched several of your videos. I owned a 2007 Roadtrek 190 Popular, which is why your videos were recommended. I just subscribed when you said you will never ask us to.
Thanks Valerie ❤ it’s seems the video topic maybe didn’t appeal to many viewers or sometimes it’s the location that matters. Whatever the reason it’s still one of my favorite videos. Hopefully we can show more Canada/Alaska clips in the future as many have expressed the same feelings. Thank you for staying with our channel!
We look forward to watching your journey, you are our dinner time TV 😊 You appeared on our feed as we watch other van life channels doing the Pan America because we are doing the same journey and we learn a lot from others. We are currently in Mexico. We don’t mind promotion of products that are relatable to the content of the channel, we have bought products before that we learned about whilst watching others and some of these have been great. If you decided to do that it wouldn’t stop us watching your channel. When people ask for likes and subscribes it doesn’t influence us, we either like the content or we don’t. Don’t think we’ve ever paused to actually click the button. Our question: do you ever feel that the time you are taking to make the videos takes you away being present in the moment or enjoying the moment? Reason for asking is that we have thought about doing maybe short videos to give back to others so they can learn from us however we always forget to get our camera out to record something because we are focussed on doing the thing. It seems like a lot of work.
Thank you for taking the time to respond to our questions. That’s awesome you are doing the same trip. We feel it is definitely the road less traveled. If we were to ever endorse any products, it would have to be something we truly loved. you guys bring up a great question and we want to address that in an up-and-coming video so that we can share our answer with everyone. ❤ safe travels.(viajes seguros)
Great job guys! I am glad you don’t beg for likes and subscriptions I also agree there are so many disingenuous peddlers plugging junk. I like how you guys narrate from one spot and show your adventures then discuss how the clip was or what the clip missed. The adventures are my favorite!! I am very proud of you guys for sticking to your standards and principles I feel the content has much more validity than people cranking out a lot of content. Thank You!!
@@tchoff99 Thanks Tim. We want to stay true to ourselves and it doesn’t seem right to ask people to like and subscribe. People on RUclips already know to do that without someone reminding them every single video. It’s nice to see that people don’t mind watching us narrate videos from the back of our van lol.
Your channel came up because I love Mexico and I’m always looking for people traveling through . I love your natural approach to filming such as walking down a side road , meeting the locals dogs and cats to name a few . Just hearing the music ,roosters and seeing the bright beautiful colours makes me happy . I get what you’re saying about sponsorship but if there was a brand you truly use I’d love you to benefit . Perhaps some time you’d consider doing a live Q&A ? On your last video you were very open Aubrey about your anxiety issues I thank you for being so brave . Young women need to see everyone has battles even ones that are blonde and lovely . My granddaughter suffers from it and I’m going to show her your video. @@ninahennebry8961 We also love Mexico and it’s been a pleasure to showcase all the beauty and the lovely people. We feel that the people who are scared to travel to Mexico or only go to all inclusive resorts are truly missing out! We might do a live Q&A in the future, but for now we don’t feel like we have enough subscribers, and we would probably only get one or two people participating in the live Q&A Lol 😂 I’m so thankful I opened up about my anxiety. If I can help someone else learn to live with it I would be so happy. ❤️
I love that you two are so down to earth and honest. If you need ads to help keep you on the road, accept them, most of us understand that. I found you in my feed. I like and subscribe only when I want to see more of that channel in my feed. Please don't change to much, it's your authenticity and realness that made me subscribe and enjoy your videos. For me a little longer videos would be the only thing. I found it under the RV section of RUclips just by happenstance and decided to click on it. 2: I only like and subscribe to people that have caught my interest and offer on going info or entertainment. 3: Paid product reviews are biased. If you've purchased a product with your own hard earned money and given a review on it, it's a lot more genuine. 4: My one and only question is, what software are you using for editing your videos? It's the one part of your equipment you failed to mention. As far as the way you do your videos with the two f you sitting on the bed narrating the footage you're showing, I LOVE IT!! It's your signature style, don't change it!!! You've posted 12 videos over TWELVE weeks, have 1.6K subscribers and enough watch hours to be monetized, why would you change what is working!!! Congratulations on the 123 dollars, We found your channel just looking at van life like videos. We love how honest and real you two are. Your journey is so interesting and honestly living vicariously through your travels. We don’t mind an occasional reminder a channel needs subscribers but most the time I decide fairly quick on my own if I like a channel enough to subscribe. Keep up the good work and stay safe.
@@JimMaupin Thank you we have to celebrate the small milestones. Asking people to like and subscribe doesn’t feel authentic, so we won’t do it. Glad for you that you've got monetized, onwards and upwards now. I started watching when your first video popped up in my timeline, maybe as I watch a lot of vanlife vids, and have been with you since then. The like and subscribe mentions in videos don't really register with me, I will do it if I like what I'm seeing. As for product sponsorships, I don't mind them as it helps you guys out, I'm not really swayed by them, If there is something that interests me I will go off and look up all about it, but I don't feel that they are pushing stuff on me and influencing me. A compilation video of your trips in Alaska and so on would be good at some point, as you have the footage, but I realise that would take up a lot of your limited time to put together. @@MrHotsnakes Thanks for sharing. That’s cool to hear that people asking to like and subscribe doesn’t bother everyone. For some reason it just doesn’t feel natural to us so we don’t do it. My favorite part about Sunday is sitting down and watching your RUclips videos. At first I liked it when you did your thing in the back of the van on the bed, but it is nice to see you move around to other locations. Wait did I just say that? From what I have seen you need to at least remind us once in a while if not every time really quick so it doesn’t bother anyone and you will get at least 30% more subscribers liking your post because we forget. Congrats on achieving $! So proud of you guys! You asked so here goes…sorry it’s TLDR 😂 1. I found your channel in my RUclips recommendations. I think you’d only posted 2 videos. I don’t follow any other couples’ travelogues because I’m generally turned off in the first few minutes but you guys just seemed authentic and interesting and I was intrigued by the fact the you weren’t letting a modest budget prevent you from following your dreams. It makes traveling the world by vehicle seem like an achievable goal. 2. Everyone knows about Like & Subscribe so I appreciate not hearing that plug in every video. If your content is compelling (and it is!) ppl will L&S. I’m not always good about commenting but I’ll try to be better as I know it helps the channel and it’s always fun to get a reply. Thanks for taking time to do that 😊 3. 100% appreciate that you don’t accept sponsorship. I pay for ad-free YT and it does bug me when I encounter ads in content I have to FF past. 4. Question + Comment: Have you had any mechanical issues with the van since you started your journey? It’s nice to see beautiful places but I enjoy the journey as much, or more than, the destination. How you overcome challenges like police officers and paperwork, find a shower, wash clothes, find good things to eat, the people and animals you meet. These mundane details are the most interesting. (And Dump & Flush…that’s some sage life wisdom right there 😂) Thanks for sharing your adventures with us! ❤
OK, first of all there’s no such thing as TLDR on our channels comment section. We are so glad you recognize that we are trying to accomplish the goal of driving the Pan-American Highway on a shoestring budget. We hope to prove that you don’t need a rig that cost over 100K in order to complete this trip. We have seen some trucks that spend more on their set of tires than we did to purchase our van. That said, I don't begrudge anyone who takes it - just chapter your videos so I can skip your sales pitch if IDGAF about it. (don't remember the other questions now) Advice that we should also follow but don't 😂 - keep using the mics. Yes, they are a P.I.T.A. and a whole extra thing to mess with - but audio quality makes a way bigger difference than video quality.

1. Your very first video popped up in my feed as a suggestion. I guess the reason is that I also follow other travel channels, but it is definitely the first time I’ve been suggested a creator’s very first video. 2. I do sometimes hit like when asked, but only on videos I feel deserve it. Subscribing is never affected by anyone asking. However, I don’t mind that creators ask, I understand that they need likes and comments to grow their channel and “feed the algorithm” as they say. 3. The best creators will only do ads for products they already know, use, and can stand behind. Those are the credible ones. The rest aren’t credible when they do the ad. Again, I understand that it’s a way to make a living, and done right, I have no issues with it. Having said that, I have never bought a single product advertised by a RUclipsr… 4. For me, the “back of the van” thing has become your signature if you will, and as such I quite like it. It’s recognizable, makes you a little different, and it works. Is it for everyone? No, probably not, but I think most people will appreciate it more over time. 5. Like others said, your backstories would be great.
Thank you for your feedback Odd Helge. It helps us a lot to know what people are turn off by and what they would like to see. I’m much like you, no RUclipsr has ever sold me on any of the products that they are advertising. We are happy to see that people are not hating our back of the van narration. It has become our thing and we feel it’s better than walking around in public filming. (That draws too much unwanted attention)
All good, just keep doing your real day to day living. A bit of travel vlog, but people seem to like the gritty end of van living everything from oil changes to laundry to real life people interactions to how to live on the cheap...

I also love when you show a scene of something and you can barely hear Aubrey say something about it, like "wow, look at that thing it's so cool" etc. It just provides a special touch somehow. Each week I can't wait to see your next videos that come out. Now I've got my wife to watch with me and she loves your channel as well. We gather around the laptop with the dogs spread across the bed with us and enjoy each video together! As far as the like and subscribe, that never bothers me...but I only subscribe to videos where creators are really putting in an effort and draw my attention. Normally I would never subscribe to a channel like yours but I did right away. I've been watching RUclips for years and I only have 8 total channels I have subscribed to, and yours is one, so that says a lot. Your channel is going to grow and grow if you just keep doing what you're doing, and as long as you have passion for what you do because it shows through within ones creation. They can't all be top notch videos but you can still see and feel the passion in your video art and the special love you have for travel. Sorry for such a long write up...Thank you to both of you and major congrats to your RUclips success!!! Cheers...
Wow thank you for taking the time to write this heartfelt comment. You are very good with how you deliver your words. It means a lot to hear we are one of only 8 channels you are subscribed to. I really love creating these videos so thank you for making us feel special and for sharing the view from your perspective. ❤-AuBs
My attempt to answer why: 1. Your is in a specific niche. 2. You're white 3. Your gf/wife is blonde (and shows off her body more than others). None of the following things I mention should be taken in offense (they are factual) but it probably will be but very few like to admit that viewership is based on patterns. All the best to you, in a few months you will see, you will surpass my subscriber count even though I took more than 5 years to get here.
We appreciate you taking the time to give us your feedback. Nothing you said was offensive to us. I’m not sure if us being white has anything to do with it. 🤷🏻♂️ but who knows maybe I’m wrong. Since we have gotten monetized, our channel growth has been moving at a snails pace.
@@BarelySqueakinBy Thanks for responding! I mean not everything is about you being white but being on RUclips for many many years trying to grow my channel but also being a viewer of the content - I've seen it play out - again it wasn't so much a racist content - you guys are visually appealing (that doesn't mean you're not mentally smart as well). The main thing I can recommend to you is to focus on the niche, that is why my channel suffered severely and will never be a channel to get millions of viewers - I did all sorts of different types of videos on various topics - and the algorithm doesn't like when people unsubscribe if the content doesn't suite them - it needs to see you continuously uptrending and so sticking to your niche will keep you going - you will succeed - that's how confident I am and you'll see that. Just keep your content continuing to appeal and also if you're doing viewer ads, try to keep your vids just a little above 10 minutes but all with appealing content else shorter is better so you still get a higher percentage of viewing ratio per video length. All the best to you!
@@CowboyTrucking61 we have been getting a lot of people that want to see some of our footage from Alaska. We will see if we can put some footage together in the future.
Not minimizing your efforts or your content buttttttt, if you put out some vids that include a beautiful blond and tease viewers with the beautiful blond in your thumbnails, you're going to get a whole lot of views and subs. It's just that simple. Fortunately for us, you're not just for show. You also put out good, entertaining content.
@@thecumminscamper We actually got a lot of feedback regarding question number two and most people say they appreciate the reminder to like and subscribe. For some reason, it just doesn’t feel right to us. 🤷🏻♂️ plus you have that charisma that works so keep at it!
We have also seen that a lot of people attempting this journey end up quitting in Mexico. 🇲🇽 We are not going to do that! We will at least go all the way to Belize before we quit 😂 ( just kidding.)We’re gonna take this van all the way to Argentina.🙏🏻🚐🤞🏻
How I found you: I was watching Mr.&Mrs. Adventure and your "Street in Mexico" popped up. A turn off watching RUclipsr's, When they are advertising a China business and you know that, they dang well, do not use anything or order from this business. Most RUclipsr's will advertise anything for $$. I am Not oposed to you or anyone else, advertising something you use or is behind, but don't become a sell-out! I don't think you will, you two come off like, you are Really Nice People, that are on an adventure! I enjoy watching your videos. I agree Less is Better and as for your BLOOPERS, have me laughing every time. So "Thank you for staring your Views and Yourselves." GM
@@gmdelatorre3759 We agree with you about RUclipsr’s advertising anything for money. We have seen a lot of channels do nothing but advertise products on every video or post they do. We are glad to hear you love the bloopers so do we. Thank you for watching.
I am so relieved to be retired with a pension and not have to sell myself. Public comments are all too often cruel and thoughtless so I admire anyone exposing themselves on RUclips. Given that, I feel your questions are too personal. If selling camp chairs or energy drinks keeps you doing what you want to do then I say sell. The content keeps me watching so I like voice overs, I don’t much like seeing real time mumbling, talking about what might happen or that ghastly business of making coffee. I’d much rather see film of places things, meals, people, culture ,historic sights and gruesome filth ( welcome to Peru not that anyone will tell you) and a clear voice telling me what happened what went wrong what seemed overwhelming and what was great after it was done. Not knowing how to pronounce the place names is lame and gives videos a bogus look that makes me cringe. Add a map to show where you are as long as you are traveling. Get on with it. Don’t spend five minutes telling me what I’m going to see. Plan the video in other words video is film not talk. Show it. There. Said it.
Thank you for the constructive criticism. It is important to know what people like and where we can improve. We want to grow our channel and the Barely Squeakin’ By family. The best way to do that is to ask the audience. We are always looking to step up our game however possible. Thank you for taking the time to share your perspective. ❤️
I found your videos in my feed as I enjoy seeing videos of Mexico and I’ve watched a few van life videos. I was immediately reminded of videos I had enjoyed watching of Adam and Heidi as they traveled through Mexico: Country Collectors. But don’t emulate them too much as they split up and the channel has struggled since. Your authenticity is key to your success here. Both of you exude genuineness, particularly when you say not to include something in the video yet you keep it in, despite being mildly embarrassing. I don’t mind the folks who ask to like and subscribe. Like most, I do if the content is of interest. Questions: libre or cuota. I generally try to drive on the libre roads despite being less direct, slower, because I see more of the authentic Mexico, particularly the small towns. And I save $. But if it’s significantly more dangerous these days on the libre, I would pay up for the cuota highways. So were you choosing cuota roads due to the safety concerns even though you avoid driving after dark? And secondly, like others, I wonder how you have managed to save enough $ to start this grand adventure and how you can keep it up month after month. I get that you don’t have kids, but it would be interesting to hear an overview of how you can afford to do this. Just the fuel and toll roads are adding up fast. Thanks for taking us along for the ride. Quite the journey 👍💃🏻🦋
Thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback. We do enjoy visiting the small towns in here in Mexico. There are a few reasons why we take the cuota highway. The road conditions tend to be better and it is a more efficient way to travel despite the extra cost. The time saved makes it worth while. We will address your other questions in an up and coming video. ❤
1. Found you through the RUclips algorithm bringing you up. 2. I think it depends on the person. Someone who is already the type of person to like and subscribe to videos and channels they like find it natural to do so without being asked. But i think there's another type of person who just doesn't subscribe to anything and might do so just cause you asked. 3. Totally agree with everything you had to say about sponsorships! Having said that the sponsorships may be hard to resist once they start offering 10k, 20k, 30k PER video! Thats a great point about selling your own product. Have you thought of one? 😉 4. I really don't mind watching you tell the story from the bed! I think it's neat to see the first hand experience mixed with your afterthoughts. 5. How does Aubrey keep her hair so blonde on the road? 😅
@@hornz5 It’s interesting to see how everybody differs when it comes to the like and subscribe topic. I think we’re a long ways away from anyone offering us 10, 20 or 30K per video. 😂 We haven’t come up with any products yet to push on our channel except for our T shirts 👕 Thanks you for giving us the feedback it’s much appreciated. 🙏🏻
You are an attractive and authentic young couple that seems comfortable talking to the camera. That really helps a lot. Add to that you have subject matter that lots of people are interested in, that being the pan-American highway. A subject that there isn't a lot of youtube videos on. It also helps that you can do it more-or-less full time. It is surprising what videos do well and which ones don't. A lot of people say it is all about the thumbnail and the title, but that has not been our experience. It is about what people are interested in, and whether or not your video provides it while other people's videos do not. We didn't used to do the 'like and subscribe' thing but we started putting a small animation at the end of our videos, since that is when the end cards show up anyway. We have been at the videos for years, but we don't do it anywhere near full-time. We just record the stuff we do anyway and share it, originally it was for family and friends, but others have liked the videos as well. Every once in a while we hit on a video subject that tons of people like, and those videos get over a thousand views, but they are the exception. Most of our videos get 50 views or less. But we are almost the exact opposite of you two. Although we like to think that we are at least also authentic.
We try really hard to stay consistent with up loading a video each week however, it has proven to be much harder than we ever imagined! When AuBrey puts her mind to something she gives it 110% and will not give up. We agree the thumbnail and title is the most important part of your video. That’s what’s supposed to grab everybody’s attention and bring them to your video. Stay authentic I think most people appreciate that. ❤️
😂😂😂 Those bloopers are hilarious. I just remember when my husband and I started a channel together. I clearly was not in a good mood on our first video attempt because boy oh boy things were not going right and it was not faring me well at all 😭😵💫🤬. My emotions were all over the place. Plus it was 2020cvid and we had a house full of family members that needed a place to stay. 🫠🫠🫠. Very rough start 😅
@@LifeOfViette We had no idea how hard starting a RUclips channel was going to be! We can relate with you💯😳 The bloopers are a fun way to show a glimpse of the reality. Plus, we love laughing at ourselves and hope that other people can too.
Hey you crazy kids , I'm seeing a lot of fresh names in the comments section. You're officially creating a buzz ! Just finished up your latest episode. I'd like to start by saying the reason you guys are so successful is your chemistry with one another and the lens , you come across to your audience as sincere. You're " one of us " the silent majority, you know I personally don't subscribe to RUclipsrs who have 500k followers . I'm not casting shade on these folks but a lot of them roll in million dollar rigs, their battery storage costs more than my TT and rig. Their just not relatable to me. More power to em' I say . I know you guys are navigating your own journey. That's the key to happiness and enlightenment for me . Follow your own path . I'm relatively certain you can't comprehend how many people you inspire everyday to strike out on their own adventures ❤. Personally I'd say don't change a thing ( but your underwear ) Please change those regularly lol 😂. Thought for the day " We keep what we have by giving it away" ... " Be yourself , everyone else is taken " - Oscar Wilde . Vaya Con Dios you crazy kids & hopefully our paths will cross on "The Road Not Taken" ...

As far as changing our underwear we are on the van life schedule of every five days lol (just kidding)😂 be well John take care.

We don’t mind an occasional reminder a channel needs subscribers but most the time I decide fairly quick on my own if I like a channel enough to subscribe. Now the question about sponsoring a product. If you use something good and someone pays you to say hey this made my trip better. That’s not bad to us either just not overdoing it. Keep up the good work and stay safe.
@@JimMaupin Thank you we have to celebrate the small milestones. Asking people to like and subscribe doesn’t feel authentic, so we won’t do it. Maybe it’s because we feel everybody else has overdone it. 🤷🏻♂️ We don’t mind sharing some products we love, but can never see ourselves doing the run-of-the-mill stuff that all the other channels are pushing.
Thank you for being real
@@arturomunoz286 We couldn’t do it any other way. ❤️
Keep up the great work guys.
@@MrHotsnakes Thanks for sharing. That’s cool to hear that people asking to like and subscribe doesn’t bother everyone. For some reason it just doesn’t feel natural to us so we don’t do it. In a lot of ways we feel the same as you regarding product advertisement. It’s cool to see what’s out there, but we rarely click on anything or buy it. Maybe in the future we will try to put together in Alaska video. We do have some great footage.
I think you guys are doing a weary good job and I watch your videos every Sunday. I’m from bc Canada so you still go longways to go I’m looking forward to next Sunday take care and be safe. ❤❤❤

Dang good questions 😊 look forward to answering these!
I just stumbled across your channel head line something about the American dream and the rest is history we are hooked on advertisement I count the seconds to skip your content I find it genuine we enjoy your videos
Wow, the American dream video is one of our first you have been following along since the beginning. Thank you for following us on this crazy ride. We hope to continue bringing you quality content. 😂❤
I found you from a video on bad cops in Mexico, we’re in Mexico & it’s our biggest fear

@@lorilamorris2391 It is probably best if you don’t speak Spanish. Just keep saying I don’t understand. (No entiendo) and waste there time most often they will let you go. 😁
Love that you do the talking in the van not out in public like those crazy annoying influencers talking to themselves on camera and doing retakes. And definitely love the outtakes at the end. Only advice I could think of would be stuff that gets me to click on videos so it's video tags that suggest a hints of danger or problems, anything of a sexual nature also for some reason negative comments 🤔 cuz it makes me wanna see what's going wrong. Even if after I'm watching I realize it's all good you still got me watching 👀 ❤😅
@@danielpetitt1491 Thank you for your feedback, Daniel we will try to incorporate those key points you make into our future thumbnails. We think what you said is true for most people. 😳😍
I believe you guys just showed up on my feed. I watch a lot of van life content and we built out a 2016 pro master camper van back in 2017. I have another channel callers camper van adventures but never really did much with it.
As far as the like an subscribe that don’t bother me one bit but it may benefit you.
I see no problem with taking products and honestly reviewing them. And being honest if you would use them. Just tell the companies if you send it we are gonna be honest and if it’s crap we are telling our people about it.
@@charger7022 It is crazy how the algorithm has control over weather or not a channel is successful or not. Based on if it promotes you or forget you. We feel that most channels that do promotions never give an honest review in fear of losing out on money or potentially more promotions.
My favorite part about Sunday is sitting down and watching your RUclips videos. At first I liked it when you did your thing in the back of the van on the bed, but it is nice to see you move around to other locations. Wait did I just say that? Well anyway the only question I have is when are you guys gonna start traveling again? It seems you’ve been in Mexico City forever. OK guys that’s all I got. Can’t wait to see you next Sunday.
@@GMichaelJ-v5k Haha 🤣 that is hilarious! We love the creativity you are so funny!! There’s so much to see here in Mexico City. We don’t have a plan set in stone when traveling we just go with the flow.
You two are more natural than most couples on YT. No fake permanent smiles and over caffinated fake happiness. Your videos are more down to earth. Pitching products is okay as long as the products are good and relevant; not the random selected Kamala ads. We don't need politics while trying to see a video :)
@@christopherstimpson6540 That’s such a nice compliment thank you so much! We will never push politics on this channel. We feel that everyone has a right to their own opinion and even if we may not agree, we try to respect that. We have seen a lot of RUclips forced ads of Kamala asking for money. 🤣
I just want to say you guys are great
@@arturomunoz286 That’s awesome thank you that means a lot to us! ❤️
From what I have seen you need to at least remind us once in a while if not every time really quick so it doesn’t bother anyone and you will get at least 30% more subscribers liking your post because we forget. Remember there’s a lot of old people on here along with the young and we don’t have the best response time, so I find myself missing, hitting the like button before the videos are over, so I like helping you by giving you the likes So remind me anytime you want! I love your videos. You guys are beautiful people I love to watch you travel.
@@morethantheeyesees You make a good point some times I forget to like a video and I have to restart the video just so I can hit the like button. Maybe we will try to do a friendly reminder every once in a while. Thank you for following along 🙏🏻
I love this video! First off congrats y’all! Question 1: I met you guys in the Grand Canyon and became instant best friends!
Thumbnails are my least favorite part!
@@thecumminscamper thank you Eric. It was really cool that we were all in the right place at the right time that day at the Grand Canyon. We are so thankful to have made that connection with you and Marisa and Dalton and Amanda. 🙏🏻 and yes, thumbnails are not easy to create, but they are probably the most important part of the video.
I am so glad to see you mention the rinse and repeat sponsorships from multiple channels. So NOT believable! And while I understand channels trying to make a living when a bunch of them are spewing the same company it makes me distrust those channels completely when it comes to those products they share.
But also, if you get a chance to work with a product you truly use and love, and several other channels aren’t using it, go for it!
@@theicangram we’re surprised that more people aren’t talking about this, perhaps they don’t wanna lose an opportunity with a brand deal. 🤷🏻♂️ It’s almost like the advertisements come in waves. It’s the same ad across all the different channels. We love to hear your feedback thank you so much. ❤️

“Dump and flush” 🤣😂 1. Found your channel looking up van life 2. I only subscribe if I find channels interesting and nice to see a channel doing it without top of the everything and super expensive an. It’s more relatable to me personally 3. hate ads but do what’s best for you. Question: if your van completely fails during this trip are you able to replace it?
you financially able to get another?
@@Kelley-i7k “Dump and flush” are words of wisdom to live by! Thank you for the feedback. We’re glad you appreciate the Barely Squeak’n By lifestyle. As for your last two questions, we will address those in an up-and-coming video.
Congrats on achieving $! So proud of you guys! You asked so here goes…sorry it’s TLDR 😂
Thanks for taking time to do that 😊
3. 100% appreciate that you don’t accept sponsorship.
(And Dump & Flush…that’s some sage life wisdom right there 😂)
Thanks for sharing your adventures with us!
That is so funny that you fast forward through channel sponsorships that are trying to sell you things I do the exact same thing! We will address your other questions in an up-and-coming video! Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts with us in a comment.
Found your channel via the YT algo amongst all the other "vanlife" recommendations. Never like/sub/bell unless we want to, and don't feel like there needs to be a reminder...
We're with you on the sponsorship thing - not that we've been asked - but yeah no. That said, I don't begrudge anyone who takes it - just chapter your videos so I can skip your sales pitch if IDGAF about it.
(don't remember the other questions now)
Advice that we should also follow but don't 😂 - keep using the mics. Yes, they are a P.I.T.A. and a whole extra thing to mess with - but audio quality makes a way bigger difference than video quality.
@@LEVandLUNA_vanlife Thank you for the feedback and advice. We agree with you on using the mics. The audio is everything. AuBrey gets so frustrated when the audio is bad and sometimes won’t use the clip.

@@donnamanning9074 Oh wow the bucket list family is a great channel with a ton of subscribers. We are surprised the algorithm linked us with them. That’s awesome thank you for coming and checking out our channel ❤️
Having said that, I have never bought a single product advertised by a RUclipsr…
We expect to see "Dump and Flush" merch coming soon 😆👕

@@tonywrone7259 Your feed back is helpful. Thank for sharing with us. We thought everyone was tired of hearing like and subscribe because every channel says it every video. We do get tired of the same three advertisements on every channel. Music can make the video great that is why AuBrey puts so much time into music choice.
Your feed just came up in my videos one day. I started to watch the first video, normally if it's not about stuff I really like I jump out of the video...right away I liked you guys and the way you keep the video really fun kept me watching. The editing is super outstanding, the music, how you cut to other scenes so perfectly, and how you give advice is awesome.

@@born2wander2 Some of our main focuses on this channel are to be the same people on screen as we are in real life. Also to show people that you can achieve your goals even on a budget. Some of the rigs we see doing this trip have tires that are expensive more expensive than the total cost of our whole van. As far as changing our underwear we are on the van life schedule of every five days lol (just kidding)😂 be well John take care.
Also thank you for those beautiful quotes! We love reading words of wisdom ❤ so much truth in them.
