Hi Nills, I allways use Aspen Alkylate-based Petrol for the last ride of the season with the mower. I just ride the tank nearly empty and then fill up a last time with Aspen. Then do the last ride of the season. No problems starting in spring months later. You can keep Aspen for a very long time. I use it to run all my garden machines. But for the mower its a bit to much to run on Aspen permanently. So just the last ride.
Thank you, I actually do use alkylate fuel (Aspen kind) in some equipment and have a can stored for the generator. Not in the movers as it is quite expensive, good tip!
@@NilsKall At least in Finland it is available from few gas stations also, lot cheaper than in small containers (around 2eur per liter). About pressure wash, I wash cutting deck after each use with a spray nozzle (not pressure washer), but always run the blades for a while to be sure water gets out of the cups protecting bearings, etc.
@@countryside_hobbies yeah it can be bought on gas station here to but I have not had any problems with regular 95 fuel in riding mowers. This video was more of a demo of what “should” be done. I used to clean the mower after each cut before but now I just scrape the worst of it a couple of times each season.
because of your videos i was able to track down a rider here in Canada. needs some work on the cutting deck but I'm looking forward to putting it to use. parts just seem to be hard to come by for the side ejecting cutting decks.
Hey! That is awesome to hear, congratulations and I hope it works as good for you as they have worked for me. The side discharge deck is a bit different, perhaps some parts are the same on the regular deck? Have you found the IPLs that are available online?
Hello, your using silicone on dipstick.. The gasket has a thread, just rotate the gasket and the pressure on the oil dipstick will increase. So there is no need to change it or "glue" that.
Hi Kyle, I like your Riders videos, I would like your opinion on a problem I have Rider Jonsered 2113 Ma. Engine Briggs & Stratton 12.5hpWhy do I have an engine oil leak on the vacuum pump, it leaks on the gas valve, the pump is made in Japan oem part.
When I put the engine oil to the maximum, it throws it harder at the pump and smokes more strongly at the exhaust until it consumes close to the minimum and then it no longer smokes and the oil consumption is stable.
Vacum pump? Never seen a vacum pump on a briggs and stratton. Do you mean fuel pump or perhaps crankcase ventilation? If it has excess oil coming from the crankcase ventilation it probably has too high pressure in the crankcase. That can be an indication of worn piston rings, worn cylinder or piston.
Hej!

Well done winter preparation! 🎄

The dipstick is just pushed into the block of the engine, you must think of some other engine.
I know, in the sealing rubber that is in the block under the oil dipstick. It has a thread, so you twist it to make it tighter. No need silicone.
@@Cacadu90 ok, will try next time.
Dobra robota :)
Dzięki wielkie!

@@NilsKall yes,, what should I do when the pressure is high?
Yes It is a fuel pump

Ok, bra ide! Är det samma klippdäck som på denna? (97 cm bakutkast)
