I loved the Opel GT… the poor man’s Corvette. I owned a ‘67 Cougar XR7 that was identical to the lime green one shown here, although I had white letter radials instead of the whitewall tires. Great video, HCG. 👍👍👍

Ford Mustang Dodge Charger Chevrolet Chevelle etc. were all used in NASCAR Indy Car Trans Am racing etc. all of those debuted before the Pontiac Firebird Trans Am did the least seller out of those is either the Chevelle or the Firebird Trans Am the Mustang has sold over 10 million units in its nearly 60 year production life while for example in a similar production run thus far the Toyota Corolla has sold around 13,000,000 in the US while in 2/3 of that time the Camry has sold roughly 14,000,000 units in the US while its sold around 25 million worldwide where as the Corolla has sold 54 million units worldwide and the Camry sells about 60,000 more units annually than the Corolla does in the US. for ex last year the Corolla sold 232,370 units in the US while the Camry sold 58,279 more units 290,649

The GT is my favourite type of car, and this episode made my retinas very happy indeed! Thanks, HCG, for all the delicious eye candy! Does anybody else think the Nissan Sylvia had more than a passing resemblance to the Buick Riatta?

The Corvair was a much maligned car!

Thanks to Ralph Nader. By the 2nd generation the kinks had been resolved and it was a fine car that was fun to drive. And like the venerable VW Beetle, it could get you through the snow.

The Ferrari Daytona was a lot more than 2600 lbs, more like 3600 from most sources.
