After watching several of your videos - I’d just love to see you partake in the “Bunker Challenge.” - Where content owners showcase their homes. Pulling items from cupboards that haven’t “seen the light of day” just amazes me. How in the heck does that happen? I see most of my dishes every day. There are no surprises in my house! ♥️
I could definitely partake with all my cabinets. Many treasures have not seen the light of day in years. Working on changing that. So many plans. 😉

This is one of my favorite videos. It is so easy to create and love the use of a Waterford Crystal, silverware and pink/lavender/green depression glass. (I was introduced to Waterford/Wedgewood by a dear friend Jorge Perez). Like you, I love cake plates…I will plead Fifth Amendment on how many I own.lol💗🌸🫖
Yes, never admit to how many cake stands you own. Love Jorge Perez! Worked with him at Waterford in the 1990's. Lots of fun at our annual sales meetings, always in a tropical location.

I already have a pink tablecloth and a pink depression glass teacup and saucer. I do have a China teapot with pink roses also. I am going to have try harder to find more depression glass.

6:00 I love your green Depression glass cake stand. The pink one is lovely, too, but I seem to be partial to that shade of green in glass. Of course, your Wedgwood teapot is lovely. I remember that pattern in the shops. Thank you for sharing this, and I hope your Mother's Day was very special.

@@LadyMaryBeth Thank you. There's just something about that particular shade of the green Depression glass that I love. It's soft and delicate, and when the light catches it, it seems to glow. I have a lovely two-piece Depression vase in that shade (it has a flower frog, for arranging). Your table looks beautiful, and I'm sure your guests were very impressed and pleased.

This was great, even if I was a year late! Thanks for the inspiration. Like you, I have a large collection of china, crystal, and all sorts of pitchers, cake stands, other items for tablescapes. Unfortunately, there is no one place where they are stored. Instead they are tucked in all over the home in closets, cupboards, boxes. Therefore, they don’t get used properly. Do you have suggestions or a specific way that you store all of these pieces so that they might be more easy to access when needed? Help!
My storage is much like yours. I rotate often which brings otherwise tucked away items to light. When possible, I “store” in open spaces that are visible everyday. My vintage cake stands are above my kitchen cabinets. It’s easy to pull one down for use.

The pattern is Garden Caprice by Castleton. I got 6 plates at The Guild Shop Resale years ago for $80. That was extravagant for me, but could not resist this stunning pattern. They seem to be rare since Replacements is sold out and eBay only has a demitasse cup. Thanks for coming along for the Mother's Day Tea!
