If you could verify this that might be a cheap source for getting balanced-armature capsules. They are unobtainium now. I have emailed 2 manufacturers for a quote but got no answer :-(

Can you use these for 8 hours or will they start putting weight on earlobe in 10 minutes? 🤔

Can´t say because I didn´t use them for such a long time. Between 10 minutes and 8 hours there is a very large span. Alternatively you can buy cheap secondhand closed headphones of your choice and replace the original elextrodynamic transducers with balanced-armature transducers.
