woah I used to watch these types of tutorials religiously not long ago, now there's one for me that's WILD the result is dope man. I'd personally have less chromatic aberration and edge blur (subtle is always better) and posterize time is where the sauce is really generated. for the blur moving around, it's not a shape layer with turbulent displace - it's fractal noise, which means you don't have to keyframe anything ultimately my principle is always you can't save bad assets with cool effects. my priority is always finding and generating the best archive and images possible, because that's the difference maker as opposed to all of these fancy effects. you killed it though man, great video 👏
Thank you! Appreciate you taking the time to comment and share a little peak into what goes on behind the scenes. I couldn’t agree more about the assets and it clearly shows in your videos. I always preach that using high quality assets is way more important than you think. I’m upset that I didn’t think about using fractal noise to drive the blob instead of the animated shape layer. I’m even more upset that I cut out the part about posterize time… I wasn’t too sure about it so I decided to cut it from the video ugh Again, thank you for taking the time to leave this comment. Insanely valuable!!
Special thanks to Mapal for enabling the creation of my new video. I'm truly inspired by Dodford and Magnatesmedia's remarkable video editing style, and I aimed to replicate it. Without Mapal's channel, my video wouldn't have been possible. I'm thrilled to share my new video, all thanks to the encouragement and resources provided by Mapal's channel.

I'm staring at my screen speechless because, firstly, I can't understand how you know all this and secondly, because I understand what you're explaining. Thanks for enlightening 🙏🏻✊🏻👌🏻
I watch every single one of your tutorials. Doesn't matter if its a 20 min tutorial or a 50 min. So much to learn from you. I hope you make some more videos on Collage Animations and Dodford and Vox style. Keep doing the great work bro 🔥🔥

I love you mate! This was great. Learned a lot from this video. And not just the edit, but also about useful plugins that you've used in the process! Thanks❤❤
man thank you for letting me know about this amazing channel :D .. i totally forgot about the editing and started watching thier content .. such a master piece
Binge watching your content over the past two days. So good. Thank you for your work and wishing you all the success with this channel! Pease out buddy 👌
Maybe I should be embarrassed that I don't know the guy you're replicating, but that doesn't matter to me. I picked up /so many/ tips and tricks from the way you work.
Seen all the little tricks you do visually to get the end result is really amazing. There’s a lot of steps that go into it I hadn’t realized. I wonder if there is a case for making a template so you don’t have to keep redoing this for each scene.
please make a video on how to create that ali abdaal type paper unfold effect (as it is), i have literally searched the whole internet for that, please
Hey man, thanks for all these tutorials, they help me big time, can you please tell me how you get the flashy glitch transitions between your cuts in the video.
Awesome video once again, I subscribed to Dodford when he was at 10k subscribers due to his editing style and it's awesome to see how you recreated it so well! Where did you get the photo of the TV from, was it StoryBlocks?
Hey man thanks for putting your knowledge so everyone can learn from you for free , can you please provide assets in your next tutorials so we can practice with you maybe?
Glad to hear! I've used both mac and PC, but I find even with my PC that's has a great GPU and CPU still struggles with AE. Might consider switching @@mapal
Hey i love the video! I have a question would you make a video on how to edit like Jeremy Etheir I want to get into creating gym videos but I want to add a little bit of spice into it just like Jeremy does but I don't know how to make edits like he
Hey buddy. Great videos. Really appreciate all the detail and breakdowns. I would appreciate it if you can do one breakdowns on the bytebytego channel videos. This would mean a lot to me
I'm very lucky to watch your videos, but I think you want to kill me through your creative talent. When I see your piece of art here I cannot skip it believe me. I'm from Morocco, did you know what happened in the past World Cup 22 in Qatar, especially when Portugal was kicked out and poor RONALDO cried like a baby. 🤣🤣

There are definitely some things you can do to speed up your workflow. Creating presets etc. super useful if you use a lot of the same stuff
Ken Burns on Speed. Got it.
Master, you're great again. Thx :))
Love your content!
I have probably watched this at least 12 times.
Hahaha that’s an awesome compliment

This is amazing man! Thankyou so much. Just a quick side note - does anybody know the font that Dodford uses>
Love the tutorial mate! How do you find the Mac performs with After effects? Notice any slow downs or crashes?
I’ve always been a Mac user so I can’t compare it to windows BUT it’s been treating me great. Especially on the M1 Mac Studio I use now
Glad to hear! I've used both mac and PC, but I find even with my PC that's has a great GPU and CPU still struggles with AE. Might consider switching @@mapal

Where do you find your assets? Great tutorial :)
I’ve made a video on it before but maybe it’s time to update it 🤔
On the 505 podcast Dodford speaks about how he actually sets up the editing and he starts with a Google doc script with hyper links from all the Broll
That’s dope! I’ll have to check it out

Thank you for the tutorial! 👏 at 6:51 how did you bring up that panel for levels?
It’s a free plugin called FX Console that allows you to search for all the effects in after effects and apply them to the selected layer
Thank you very much for the tutorial, it is so good! What is the plugin you use to arrange the speed with the graphs? Thanks!
It’s a plugin called Flow
