Good video to help the Hobie community. I saw a video the other day where they used different color ropes for different functions. Thought that was a good idea to quickly identify which rope is which especially when things start going crazy on a busy tramp like when trying to get going after a capsize.
I have definitely said that I wish I chose different colors not that I have said it some. I would highly recommend different colors for jib and main sheet.
I used 5/16" diameter for the jib sheet and the main sheet. I have not had an issue with the class cleats grabbing the line. The line lengths and diameters I used are in the description.
