Hey guys, Rage Cleave is Tankier and buffed! IMPORTANT - We have 80 (!!) Rage Max now, not 94 (as in the video), difference is not that big but still. Here is Step by Step 3.24 Video, check it out for more tips & gameplay from Lvl2 to Watchstones - ruclips.net/video/g2tVycCcUYU/видео.html Thank you all for watching and subscribing!
For getting the max 80 rage, you need to grab other passives in the skill tree. You should change it and update the PoB because there IS a big difference for Berserker between 69 and 94
@@lavq7000 I already updated POB for 69 Rage which is fine Tbh, all difference is already accounted for - I just had old number in the video itself (since POB loaded old items). You can get to 80 after lvl 91 (My highest POB) by grabbing those nodes.
I found WERY handy thing for this build. Rage Vortex as utility skill. 1st, i hate Rite of ruin (its made me squishy) and i love Blitz (its made me faster, and it's like 80% of Rite of Ruin effectiveness). Vortex stacks blitz charges almost instantly without crit investments. Also i linked it with culling strike, maim and fortify. Realy usefill. And yea, this starter is realy smooth, thanks alot ^^
One of the most detailed guides I've ever seen. Well, after playing on the cautious berserker, it’s time to play on the crazy one. Thanks for the guide ^^ I will use it.
@@ronarray The attack damage and effectiveness is (286-660)% of base instead of (136-314)% - also knockback is guaranteed, so if you jump into packs you have some additional safe air around :)
@@ronarray well in the video you calculate your rage gain by simply multiplying your rage on hit with your attacks per second. Which leads you to basically double the actual value as you can only gain rage twice per second from hits which means with your 6 rage per hit you only gain 12 not 24 a second
@ronarray I think it's worth mentioning though, that the dps you get by 91 is only around 2m. This is really too low to be comfortable on a strike build. If that's the top end dmg with all of the gear and flasks up and such, getting up to red maps will be a struggle, and it's unlikely to handle getting voidstones by yourself, as your dps along the way will be much lower. I won't be starting it, but hope those who do enjoy! And most definitely respect all your work on the guide, especially the loadouts! That's the big reason why you earned my sub 👍
To be honest they all take about 20+ hours to prepare the POB only (don't know how much for the video). I just started working on them about a week ago and now time to release them. Hard to say about cyclone, last one is still not determined - have 4 different skills in the work. Thank you for the support man!
Thanks man for your ideas. I was thinking about Gladiator and Berserker and you madr the builds for me. I am enjoying that you are using the new buffed melee skills. Maybe something about Ice Crash too? Have one more question what do you think about stun mechanic with Tidebreaker - any Slam Skill / Heavy Strike for bossing?
- in a supress part you tottaly didn't explained anything about supress... just armor. ;; btw defy pain with a node that gives you armor will grant you around 25k armour granting 90% physical reduction. Which you can combine with some tech to layer ele dmg taaaken behind your physical resistances. but it need to invest into reflect immunity.
In theory you could use Defy Pain with the new Vengeful Cry and more Duration to have almost perma uptime on 25 additional max Rage. Whats your take on that?
Never tried cleave of rage before but really want to try a melee build for 3.25. Would you say this is an ok build for newish/intermediate players? I've never made it past the first 2 voidstones
Right now with the tankier version it should be better, however if you need a simpler build you can look into my Gladiator lacerate there ruclips.net/video/Xsgx58XIxuQ/видео.html
I don't think the maximum rage and rage recovery is going to be that high. Both Rigwald's Savagery and Bear's Girdle have been rebalanced to only grant +10 maximum rage. The rage gain on hit also seems to have a 0.5 second cooldown (judging based on one of their anwsers to a recently asked question, i wanted to add a link but youtube doesn't let me). Nevertheless, it is still a very nice build. However, i think some of the numbers aren't going to be as good as PoB currently shows.
this build is massive bait for this patch, while every other beserker build you could do is doing more damage this one is about 20% less damage at the top end (where cleave of rage struggled in the first place) rage support being nerfed and the maximum rage being cut in half is also going to feel terrible for the range.
Did something happen between when this video was released and now? Cleave of the berserker doesn't seem to act remotely close to how it is shown in the video.
@@ronarray thanks for the reply--much appreciated. Cleave of the berserker is pretty much regular ol' cleave (visually). What you debuted looked fun af. I spent a couple div's try to get all set up to be disappointed, not by your doing, but because of the changes. Oh well. Do you happen to have any other builds or thoughts that are more melee focused similar to cleave of the berserker excluding the slam builds? I'd like to hear you thoughts!
BTW Aren't you actually at 69 max rage with Rigwald's Savagery? Because in 3.25 it will have only +10 to max rage instead of +25. same with bear's girdle, we lost 10 rage there
Max rage on the unique gear got nerfed, you're deffo not getting 94 with this setup, closer to 60-70. Should've read the full patchnotes. Otherwise, build looks good.
It is 80 max now (69 without going to far) I added that to the pinned comment. POB played me dirty so I got wrong number for the video - sorry about it.
Out of curiosity since i have tried Cleave of Rage before do you want to chase the legion sword unique and ever use a psychotic axe base on your offhand ever? or is rigwalds and varunastra just good enough
Not sure if I'm missing something, but in the PoB at Level 54- 65 you have Blood and Sand Stance and then take it out for the rest of the build. In the Skill Tree in level 75, you end up taking the axe mastery with "30% increased Damage while in Blood stance , 15% increased Area of Effect while in Sand Stance". Is Blood and Sand Stance still used but you forgot to put it in your skills?
Thanks for the 3.25 update! One question: Is Bear's Girdle still good since it no longer has 4-6% increased Physical Damage per 10 Rage and now has only +10 to Maximum Rage (was +20)
@@ronarray hi ron, i'm back again, how do u deal with ignite and burning ground? P.S. I'm really enjoying the build! just getting hard now to survive in t15-16 maps sometimes 😅
This build looks straight up damage starved. I play Cleave Slayer, but Cleave of Rage is a dual wield only thing. I prefer 2 hander with Volatility and Ryslatha's. This build looks like it's going all in on the Berserker ascendancy. The only thing I really like from Berserker is the attack speed from Rage since they gutted it out of Rage baseline. Cleave lost the Physical tag. The damage of your nodes and supports only apply to flat phys sources that you have, it's not as much damage as before.
Damage is definitely went down at least for a little but it is still enough for watchstone pus - try to use Ezomyte Burgonet if you fall too far behind.
@@ronarray Thanks for the reply, great guide btw. Anyways do you know if radius of cleave scales with "increased Rage effect"? Patchnotes state: Rage effect applies ... and other bonuses granted per X Rage if you have any. Cleave of Rage matches this description but PoB doesn't reflect this, if it scales we can get slightly more than double the radius of cleave granted by rage with Berserk.
