- Take a lap around the new Circuit of the America's F1 Track in Austin Texas with BMW factory driver Bill Auberlen inside the Turner Motorsport GS M3. Listen to Bill Auberlen as he gives you a full lap of commentary as he sees it. Non commentary version here: • A lap at COTA with Bil...
Be sure to TUNE IN to watch the Grand-Am Rolex series race LIVE on SPEED March 2nd at 5:30PM EST. Turner will be fielding two GT M3s in the Rolex Series race and one GS M3 in the Continental Tire Challenge.

this would be so much more useful if they'd stayed on the forward view instead of cutting away from it to show Bill. Bill sure is pretty -- I guess -- but cutting away ruins any sense of flow that you need, especially in the busier sections of the track.
I second that
Nice TWO wins today!!! Great racing at COTA today. Really nice to see the track putting up some really exciting racing.
Great video guys, hope to see more like it
2013: ''it's amazing, it's smooth..."
2019: What happened? Why so bumpy?
Congrats on the win today guys.
Awesome track! Do more of these videos!
Awesome track, and my wish list !
That is my new favorite track in America,it was Daytona.
"I would take more but there's a cone there" and also a big ass kerb that will kill your suspension I believe
Nice!
The commentator is Bill Auberlen. No, I'm not assuming based on the video title, I recognize his voice. Apexes were clipped less than he would in a race because as he stated there were cones there; this was obviously at an instructional event. The sort of event where you might learn that oversteer and understeer will hurt your lap time. I suspect you're more of a Forza or Gran Turismo driver than one in an actual car though so I don't blame you for not knowing that...
Looking forward to watching the MotoGp guys take this on for the first time this weekend!
Awesome lap with der BMW-Meister
actually yes. yes i do as Im an young race car drive who races in Regional/National races in the Sports Car Club of America as well as the National Auto Sport Association. I've even done some racing in the Skip Barber MX-5 Cup series. But Since we don't know each other Im not going to judge you on your level of driving expertise. I've been racing since I was 14.
cool - thanks
i will go one day
How did Auberlen's race go at COTA this weekend, Fivedinners? I missed it.
The commentator is the driver, its just not live. Also Grand Am hasn't even raced at COTA yet so what do you mean they lost?
Looks like Boris is driving?
Not so well at the 24, but they finished, which is a huge accomplishment in itself. How did they do this weekend in Texas? Did you happen to catch the results from GS and GT? Let me know if you find out, I missed it on TV. Thanks!
"tighty"...lol love it.
Keep it tidy. Not tighty.
dude.. its a track day with a passenger in the car. Fun video.. don't take life so seriously
i wonder why bill goes in so narrow into turn 15 leaving a slower exit speed into the tripple right hander.
then as a driver you should know that watching isn't all what this video is about. Listen to him talk about the racing line instead of how fast he was going. You don't know if he was just taking the guy for a ride or something else. They don't need sponsorship because the driver gets paid to do this. You want to watch him race look up some videos onboard racing videos with Turner Motorsports
Where is the video with just the engine noise?
A win right out of the gate in GS maybe the troll(s) will go away or at least crawl back into the hole.
Fail! Ha ha Great job Bill and Paul and the entire Turner team.
hmmm
you know how people say, "Gee man, you really hit the nail on the head!" well they should come up with a phrase describing the exact opposite of that just for your post, i mean you really missed the head of the nail, and the nail, and whatever shit you were trying to nail together you missed that too, actually I'm not even sure if that's a hammer in your hand. please excuse my poor grammar/ punctuation, I like math and science
Something like, "Gee man, you really missed the nail this time!"
😂
Hahaha fivedinners they haven't raced there yet. Good job smartypants
You obviously have some issues fivedinners. If everybody else seems to be the problem, perhaps looking within is a path
Right... the FACTORY driver from BMW NA, LLC doesn't know how to "drive." ::eyeroll::
Driving for Turner, a privateer race team, is Bill's second job next to his role with BMW NA with Team RLL.
worst track guide ever
too many hairpins and too many consecutive slow turns, not the best designed track
The "non-driver" (in fact BMW factory driver) commentator would spank your ass in any car on any track any time, I don't care who you are. Or maybe I'm distracted by all your onboard videos of setting lap records around world-class race tracks...
Wtf is this?? Almost every entry to all the hairpins were atrocious. Turning in too fucking early almost every damn corner.
Please no talking!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
