You know what would be great? An MMO sim! Where there are farmers like in farming sim, pilots to move the cargo with their own airfields etc, boat captains to go overseas, truckers! you would be able to hire other people to do stuff for you etc etc would be so awesome! Like world of warcraft, 1 big open world server with 10000's of people working together! :D
The front wheels on the trailer is helping keeping weight off the the back wheel of the truck, which prevents the front of the truck to lift up during acceleration. Try testing it with a trailer that dont have the front support wheel on the trailer. The result might be different.
As with almost every trailer I haul at this size and length, hauling heavy industrial equipment in western Canada, the truck is basically only used to pull the trailer like pulling a wagon. There is pretty much no weight on the hitch. So n essence why would the front wheels come off the ground. Except motor torque pulling the chassis to the right.
Thats the main problem, so many people that play the game don't actually look at what real heavy haul trailers look like, and why some heavy haul trucks go up to a 8x4 etc chassis, the weights given in ETS the trailers are examples of two of the many styles of heavy haulage trailers, with the new axles, is going to add huge amounts of variation to the game
There's an axle at the front of the trailer, that takes the vertical load off the fifth wheel. No wonder the front of the truck doesn't lift. If you try out a JazzyCat trailer, you'll probably see that the physics hasn't changed at all.
Yes the issue is that Jazzycat needs to adjust his heavy trailer mod. Think of a see saw on a play ground in goes back and forth balancing the weight in the center. Same can be said for the single rear axel trucks in the game, so those trucks should be the ones that have trouble keeping their front wheels on the ground. If you look at the Dual axel rear trucks the second axel in a sense that helps distribute the weight also acts like a wheelie bar that they have on drag racing cars to help keep the front end down. More tires equals better stability. End result was as I mentioned before Jazzycat needs to fix the Physics of his mob, its a great mod it just needs work.
It's that turn onto the autoroute near Calais, just after you after you get off the Channel Tunnel that annoys me. It's a nigh on impossible right hand turn. I have never done it yet without hitting the signposts.
Even more of a nightmare entering, surely? Exiting is (relatively) easy. Also the way to handle onramps like that one is to hang as far left as you can, stay in the centre lane if is has a turning lane. Turn later than you think you should and turn back hard, and then straighten out, you should'nt scrape the barrier or hit the posts.
Haha that baobab tree haul was the first video I ever watch on this channel a little over a year or so ago. I remember finding myself wanting to see the entire hauls and enjoying Paul's narration and became a regular viewer. Plus I remember watching a bunch of Squirrel videos while packing the night or two before leaving to study abroad in Italy over spring break 2016, always a good memory :)
Thank you so much for that, Paul :) An hour ago I wanted to look for SNT but saw you're at Truckfest lol Will take the same paint job for the Scania and paint the wheels red like you had it on your stream before you changed to chrome wheels/ covers
lol no Im not joking. Have another look 8:50. The artwork on the truck is a picture of a heavy cavalry charge. And its called Heavy Charge. Its not a mistake or mistranslation, it makes perfect sense.
The steering axles and truck analysis are ❤️❤️❤️! Can't wait for this DLC! I'm expecting the dual pivot thingy for ATS would look even more insane lol.
Thanks for the preview, it definitely looks interesting, the steering axles in particular seem great, didn't thought they'd ever bring that to the game! While the cargo is not terribly new in comparison to what we've seen from mods, the trailers sure look nicely detailed as we're used by SCS! Thanks!
I think alot of people will agree, the S730 with this DLC will look mean :D But, what about the trailers? Could you like disable the steering, lift/lower all axles?
Levi have you seen the Scania T mod by RJL? It goes up to 5 axle chassis configurations, and with the long nose, the end result will be a long ass combination...
I once did a delivery in a Mercedes Actros 4x2 with 447HP and the load was the 61 ton locomotive. The truck drove fine and could still break 100kph on French motorways
What you got to remember is ,A front axle on the trailer means a 2 axle tractor unit becomes 3 axles,1 steer ,1drive ,1 drag. In true life you need more grip on drive axle. Add 2nd drive axle, better grip.Add ballist weight on tractor unit BETTER Grip.
Really @Bravo ? I watched the Twitch stream and he never took a Quick Job he only used the truck he already had and he took jobs from the freight market.
I dearly hope multiple pivot points will be usable in ETS2 as well - e. g. in mods. Apparently they are not utilised in ETS2's DLC. With this, SCS would have finally improved the game: Just imagine the classic truck trailer combinations possible!
I think part of the issue is how they deal with two loads. Do you pick up the two trailers separately and drop them off at separate locations? The game doesn't currently support multiple jobs at once so you can't have two active trailers that can be delivered individually. They are supposedly looking into the possibility of overhauling the career mode to support ownership of trailers but that was years ago. Another issue is that most of the drop off points would be completely impossible to access with two trailers as you would have to reverse all the way into the yard around impossible bends. They would need to implement a system to prevent loads being delivered at certain dropoffs. Imagine having to deliver one of those to the drop of point with the narrow arch entrance.
B-trains and semis with dollys would spawn as one combination. And the full trailer combinations are actually fairly flexible, i've gone through the narrow archway with longer loads. Just comes down to the capabilities of the driver i guess
I am not even talking about the B doubles & giga liners actually. About half of the trucks in Germany are truck-trailer combinations, usually a 3 axle truck with a 2 axle trailer (front wheel dolly) trailer. With this update, we will finally be able to simulate these in ETS2 as well. Economics would be pretty straight-forward, I suppose. Either swap body loads on both the truck and trailer or specific truck bodies (like cooler or tanks) which can only pick up trailers and loads of the corresponding type (e. g. food or flammable liquids).
SCS said that if a feature is going to get implemented in one game the other game will also get it. So yeah i guess there will also be regular update which will make multiple pivot points when the DLC drops.
That is what the axial at the front of the trailer is for, to stop all the weight sitting on the back and lifting the front off the ground and not allowing you to steer.
The new heavy cargo pack looks nice but it seems to me there is already a lot of free mods that do the same thing. The steerable trailer is unique to this pack and that may be reason alone to buy the new content but I have not experienced the same issues as Squirrel when using the Jazzy Cat heavy cargo mod. In fact I just finished hauling a 79t oversize load for 1500km without too many issues (other than those related to my bad driving). I used the Ohaha 2013 FH16 with a 8x4A chassis and only experienced loss of steering when I had diff lock activated. For some reason the use of diff lock raises the front axle by a very small amount but enough to result in steering problems. It will be interesting to see how much this new DLC costs.
I wish they would add some different heavy loads for those of us with the DLC as an update. The heavy loads are great fun because it actually feels like your truck is working, especially the locomotive up an incline.
That is the only down side as i only spend time on MP so il have to wait for the to update. But it shouldnt be as long as they know everyone will want to use it unlike that trailer pack
they don't really fix the problem with the game sir... they got around it placing a wheel right on the beginning of the trailer, and with that the wait don't go to the rear axels any mores... so there is no front-end lift up... It's a clever solution, but it's not a update in the physics in any way... at the end is SCS... they tent to get around problems instead of fix them
You should pay more attention to the screenshots and the video.... the first two trailers do not have the extra front axle, front end lifting up is a real problem that in the real world they get around by using extra truck axles and axles at the front of the trailers to put less load on the rear end of the truck, as well as air suspension.
i should pay more attention to the vid? i really don't think so... which was the trailer used to do the test you poor little SCS sheep? well then... and i know about the "real problem, that the real world face it" so...
A Sheep really??so.....? what, when the game is designed or loads around 20t and then mods add loads with 60t the physics will sometimes act strange, drop that load onto a real truck and the front end will lift, and you will have much lighter steering, load the boot of your car up and you will have the same effect....more understeer, it goes very odd sometimes with the really heavy mod trailers but they are outside the normal programming so of course that will happen, the effect in real life is far less obvious but still a major issue. A 4x2 chassis would never be used in a standard configuration trailer, with a 60+ton load, on it the max is around 18-20 ton. but even then with a lot of the load taken away from the kingpin and spread over the trucks axles and extra trailer axles the front isn't going to shoot up the truck is used more to pull the weight not support a large % of it, get one of the more normal low loaders, stick a 60 ton load on that and grab a 6X4 with a tag and the front is probably going to go very very light, just as it would in real life. It might not have been the best test, it is also in early access so not everything is good to go/ turned on f you dislike and hate SCS and the game, why play or watch anything todo with it? or better yet find the problem and fix it!
I don't think you guys are understanding his statement. He's saying that the trailer has a front axle. This isn't the case with heavy trailers from mod packs such as jazzicats. Those trailers are heavy and put extra weight on the rear axle of the truck causing the front wheels to lift when under load. These SCS trailers have a front axle which you can clearly see, that helps take some load off the rear axle. To see if this problem is completely fixed you would need to go and use a modded trailer without said front axles.
This is going to completely transform the game for those of us wanting to take on this challenge! Here's an interesting observation though. I used to drive heavy and oversized cargo a few years back, and the trailers we used at the company i drove for, we always always ALWAYS locked the trailer steering when reversing, otherwise, IRL it made reversing the trailers practicaly impossible as the axels were all over the place when unlocked. On top of that, it could also damage the trailer. Now this was a few years back in 2008 or so, so it might have changed or improved since then, i don't know, but i thought it was an interesting detail. On a side note, i almost can't wait to see how this affecte the multiplayer side of things, i am guessing it will be absolute chaos due to inexperienced drivers who maybe don't quite know how this stuff works. :)
Yes, it's always annoying when a company spends time and money on creating awesome new content and then asks us to give them money for their hard work. I mean why should they get compensated for their time and effort. Bastards!
I hope they add to the game the function that a truck gets more wear if you for example use a 6x4 to haul such heavy trailers instead of the recommended 8x4. I believe that's the realistic aspect to the integration of the 8x4 chassis. I might be wrong.
Those trailers help a lot for trucks because less weight goes onto the rear axles of the the truck. Almost all the weight is only over the trailer and the truck just pulls
Ohhh, I'm really liking the truck analysis feature. I really hope the devs improve and add to that. Seems to give part unlocks more value and maybe make you have different trucks for different types of trailers.
i wish that the DLC would have hauls where you filles the whole road and needed to have be in a convoy and only be able to follow a select route that would have been awesome
squirrel, I think the fact of not having the steering issue anymore is due to the sort of dolly, which I think takes the weight off the main truck (tractor), making the tractor responsible for pulling the trailer forward and not taking all the weight anymore, because at first all the weight was down to the axles of the truck it self, and it isn't anymore with these type of trailers, I think this solved the issue of the truck pulling itself into the air.. thanks in advance!
Another fantastic vid Squirrel and I love the heavy haul too. I can't help but think that SCS may not have fixed the front-end lifting issue though. All the heavy trailers have the axel right at the front. That would take a lot of weight that would normally be transferred to the truck if it wasn't present.
Squirrel just so your aware sir, the front axle on your trailer is designed to take some of the weight off the back of your truck so that it doesn't lift up the front end
Thanks for all the info. I did not made up my mind, if this dlc would be worth buying it, but your first look made me reconsider - the dlc will be bought!
This looks amazing and I'm glad they're adding more trailers/loads into the game. Now all I want is more variety and the ability to buy my own trailer and have some sort of animation to load the trailer! Loved the video, it was a great overview.
the trucks have more traction because of the trailer axle at the front,so most of the weight is on the front trailer axle, but I hope they fixed it for mods too
The reason why the smaller chassis could handle the heavy haul trailers is because the trailer he used as an axle in the front. I guess when you take the one without the front axle it will still lift the front.
I just bought the DLC and did 2 hauls, I noticed a bug/or weird behavior from those trailers! All wheels turn and that gives you amazing turn circle but if you do a U-turn, it gets stuck somehow and won't let you turn properly, whole truck moves sideways it's really weird! Truck isn't even hitting the trailer, it's just like an invisible barrier stopping it to turn properly, other than that sweet DLC!
In the real world I pull a short 11m trailer with positive rear steer all week, and an normal Tri-axle every other Saturday. I much prefer the rear steer, and it does take some getting used to when going back to a normal trailer. I occasionally pull a 30 pallet positive rear steer Extra long trailer too and that can be 'fun' in tight spaces.....
The mods based on the DLC must be awesome. I'm going to buy the DLC. This purchase will support the ETS2 team in developing new projects like the future Scania-Trucks
my truck is the volvo fh16 classic with a 6 x 4 and a 700hp engine the stats were for heavy cargo like a quarter of a bar so i took the 51 tonne load and it did good struggled a bit up the slope to the motorway but overall it handled it great
Squirrel, an idea for when the pack goes live, show off real life trucks and trailers so people see that there are a huge range and different styles of trailer and truck used for heavy haulage, so the trailers are pretty damned accurate representations.
Hey Squirrel! Nice video and greetings from Brazil! Would be nice if you could do a video comparing the fuel comsumption between 4x2, 6x4 and the 8x4 when carrying the heaviest cargos...
There is an axle in the very front near the back wheels. This should take the weight off the 5th wheel so you shouldn't have a steering problem in any axle configuration.
I hope they add this to or change the existing High Power Cargo Pack perhaps with 1 or 2$ price bump, while the ones that already have it (I don't) will get it (Heavy Haul) for free as a courtesy for supporting. I mean that thing is ancient.
A 4x2 chassis works as well as na 8x4 with these trailers because of the front axle on the trailer. The truck barely has any weight on it, and can therefore pull it with ease. If that fron axle on the trailer was gone, things would've been a bit different ....
SCS needs to look into having the axles mean something. in ATS.. you can pull heavy loads with a single axle. they need more DOT compliance. should have to make sure you are allowed to take the load and capable. but hey.. if you want.. take the chance and risk the weigh station or random road side inspection.
Good video Mr Squirrel, The reason the front end is not sliding is there is wheels on the front of the trailer, taking the weight off the truck. Or with that much weight the truck should have pop a wheelie when you tried to take off. The front wheels is keeping all weight off that thing. They do look very nice. The computer graphic is awesome. What kind of computer do I have to go buy to get graphics like that ? Thanks man Nice.
11:38 Try that on the onramp of a highway. You will have a VERY bad time there buddy. It's just gonna crawl. And if the AI were dumb, that would cause havoc :D
The physics issue could be "fixed" due to the front axle on the trailer. Most modded trailers don't have that. I'd be curious to see you try that with the same modded trailers that don't have this front axle configuration.
that would be amazing
lycon7000 and hackers and griefers and laggy as shit
lycon7000 Thats life
well, arma 3 has smth like this. where the whole world economy is driven by players :) but its arma so.. shitty gameplay
You know.. We have a thing called life. The graphic's amazing and it does the same.
The front wheels on the trailer is helping keeping weight off the the back wheel of the truck, which prevents the front of the truck to lift up during acceleration. Try testing it with a trailer that dont have the front support wheel on the trailer. The result might be different.
ContradanzaEU I thought that as well
As with almost every trailer I haul at this size and length, hauling heavy industrial equipment in western Canada, the truck is basically only used to pull the trailer like pulling a wagon. There is pretty much no weight on the hitch. So n essence why would the front wheels come off the ground. Except motor torque pulling the chassis to the right.

When he say "Roundabout" he should play the "To Be Continued" part of the music and end the video.
Someone should haul the 61ton with a basic Lorry
With a standard engine
Ryan Williams thats basically torture/inhumane
Haul it with the cheapest I've only which I believe is the lowest powered truck in the game. Correct me if I'm wrong
You would be able to smell the clutch all over Europe...
I will, with the 250bhp Peterbilt 351. Can't wait.
To look at the trailers go to the trailer browser
Just trying to imagine what a nightmare it will be to make a turn while exiting TRAMERI company :D
Oh god! That would be bad! It's bad trying to turn out of them with a standard trailer, never mind one of these new trailers.
It's that turn onto the autoroute near Calais, just after you after you get off the Channel Tunnel that annoys me. It's a nigh on impossible right hand turn. I have never done it yet without hitting the signposts.

Looking forward to play that by myself :D
Thanks for the great preview!
Best regards
Ansgar
Ich freu mich schon drauf wenn du es spielst, hoffentlich kommt das DLC bald.
Beste Grüße
last thing now is some freaking double trailers..
Right!!
Cupcake Punisher that's coming to ATS, I think?
Cupcake Punisher there will be so many mods after this update. Cant wait
since ATS is getting them I expect ets2 will also support them
I just saw the screenshot of the ATS big stuff update/DLC. looks pretty damn nice.
Haha that baobab tree haul was the first video I ever watch on this channel a little over a year or so ago. Why didn't you use the trailer browser in the game to go through the trailers? That's the whole point of it and you definitely wouldn't miss one.
Also he could use the truck browser as well quickly select the different trucks without needing to go into different dealers to look at them.
Aristotelis Mitsiou How do I open the trailer browser? I thought that I need another SCS licensed program to watch just the trailers
Mr.Crosspatch It is all in game. Click "About" from the main menu and then you can select "Trailer Browser".
Nice thx :)
Thank you so much for that, Paul :)
An hour ago I wanted to look for SNT but saw you're at Truckfest lol
Will take the same paint job for the Scania and paint the wheels red like you had it on your stream before you changed to chrome wheels/ covers
I seriously hope SCS adds side skirts for the 3 axle chassis.
For the information: The locomotive is the Vossloh G6 Shunting Loco. As always a good video!
4:56 : But weight, there's more ! ... Pun intended?
That pun,it's a good one.
Lmao.. The heaviest one I had ever pulled was an 80 tonne locomotive with a MAN, but I seriously like those steering axle trailer
8:47 It says Heavy Charge, not Heavy Change xD, Great review once again Squirrel!
I hope that 'Heavy Charge' gets more accurately translated to 'Heavy Load' before release. Just me being fussy - it's an issue with mods as well ...
Steve its meant to be Heavy Charge because its a picture of a cavalry charge w/ armoured horces
Yerne You are joking I hope! Seriously, use a better translation engine!
lol no Im not joking.
Anyone remember the days of stranded deep?
HALLOFFAMEPOP Yes I do!
HALLOFFAMEPOP Yes, of course! It feels just like yesterday
HALLOFFAMEPOP yes but I didnt like the game
lol, anyone remember the days of the forest?
cityuser Yeah haha
Thanks for the preview, it definitely looks interesting, the steering axles in particular seem great, didn't thought they'd ever bring that to the game! Harold Holsappel, I have actually :) a long time ago (1.18) there was a 6 axle chassis but it got removed :/
I once did a delivery in a Mercedes Actros 4x2 with 447HP and the load was the 61 ton locomotive. The truck drove fine and could still break 100kph on French motorways

Do you also get a 8x4 chassis if you were to start a heavy cargo via Quick job?
Great question! @Squirrel do you know the answer to this?
Yes you do I saw that on his stream.
Really @Bravo ? I watched the Twitch stream and he never took a Quick Job he only used the truck he already had and he took jobs from the freight market.
He clicked it when he was looking for a trailer, I´m like 90% sure I saw the 8x4 trucks there
you can,but you cannot get a simple truck(meaning that you can only have bigger trucks)
I do not watch Let's Play series, but I love this kind of previews, reviews, first looks and other informative videos. Great job!
I dearly hope multiple pivot points will be usable in ETS2 as well - e. g. in mods. Apparently they are not utilised in ETS2's DLC.
With this, SCS would have finally improved the game: Just imagine the classic truck trailer combinations possible!
B-trains and 25.25's would be really awesome in this game. I'm just not sure why SCS hasn't done them yet, it clearly isn't an issue in the engine

I'm going to try this out at calais duisburg road
Freimopp777 complete chaos then XD
Is that that right hand turn after you leave the Channel Tunnel? That ones a bitch
idk, but this road is a total mess in multiplayer. Every day is one big traffic jam ( sometimes 100+ trucks) and a lot of traffic in general
Freimopp777 I didn't even know there was a multilayer feature.
really? You can drive with others around, you can join convoys and so on. So much fun.
You can download it here. truckersmp.com/
man, what a joy it will be to do the twisty turn routes now. Hell Ill be looking to take them routes I avoided before.
Paul, it says "SIMULTOR" in thumbnail, might want to fix that! :)
What?
It's fixed now.

But it shouldnt be as long as they know everyone will want to use it unlike that trailer pack
Looks nice! The "bossloc" is the Vossloh G6 locomotive in real life.
can you haul it in a iveco 310hp
Sure 8kmh max :DDDDD
Now that would be fun on a 800mile drive haha
try to get out of a mine with it
an 8x4 mercedes and scania as DLC without mods?! my dreams have come true
And now you have the MAN as 8/4 too^~^
you are lucky
Looks like a must-have DLC!
they don't really fix the problem with the game sir... they got around it placing a wheel right on the beginning of the trailer, and with that the wait don't go to the rear axels any mores... so there is no front-end lift up...

It might not have been the best test, it is also in early access so not everything is good to go/ turned on
f you dislike and hate SCS and the game, why play or watch anything todo with it? or better yet find the problem and fix it!
Squire T - Read again what Matheus Linhares and sgtdaye has said.
Can you do more My Summer Car and post videos consistently
aadhith narayan we haven't had a ets video for ages
True
he did 3 days ago..
TMCN #16 - Sports
xGapp Yes but it's not in the euro truck series we used to watch, that's "this may contain nuts"
you can adjust the mods by changing a certain data. It is very simple.
My modded 4 axles trucks aren't lifting at the front anymore

Peter Hunt this is How RUclips is
Very nice review of the practical physics involved in heavy haul here.
wow. its a dlc. thought it would've just been in the game :/
Yes, it's always annoying when a company spends time and money on creating awesome new content and then asks us to give them money for their hard work. I mean why should they get compensated for their time and effort. Bastards!
+Nathaniel Offer you did not open the sarcas
m this wil not compile ;)
AFAIK SCS has called it an "update". Maybe they just made the pre-release work like a DLC because that's easier to manage that way.
Every time I have read their blogs they said it was DLC so where did you get that from?
That's okay it's HTML and you don't need to compile HTML :D
Man that is a serious DLC.I already like it.It's more complete than i tought. Thanks Squirrel for this preview.
It's such a shame they didn't implement the abnormal load escort group feature that was teased in their Christmas/New Year video.
Nice to see they are still working on this wonderful game. Great video review!
I hope that in the future, you can take 70t class 43 HST power cars on this & also to be able to transport MTU V16 4000 engines from Germany to the UK
hopefully also the brick trailer will have steerable axles, and the schwartzmuller low loader too after the release of this DLC
Thanks for all the info. I did not made up my mind, if this dlc would be worth buying it, but your first look made me reconsider - the dlc will be bought!
After Years you uploaded a trucking video finally :D
I look forward to see what the Scania T series makes of those trailers
This looks amazing and I'm glad they're adding more trailers/loads into the game. Now all I want is more variety and the ability to buy my own trailer and have some sort of animation to load the trailer! Loved the video, it was a great overview.
the trucks have more traction because of the trailer axle at the front,so most of the weight is on the front trailer axle, but I hope they fixed it for mods too
Finally, they made a more precise special transport. I'm so exited about this, and can't wait for the DLC!! Thanks for showing this Squirrel 😃😃
Thanks for these videos. I bought Euro Truck Simulator 2 on steam because of what I'd watched on your channel and its now one of my favourite games :)
The reason why the smaller chassis could handle the heavy haul trailers is because the trailer he used as an axle in the front. I guess when you take the one without the front axle it will still lift the front.
Wow the locomotive is gonna be huge :O
Sehr gute Vorstellung. Ich freue mich schon auf die Multiplayer Convoys.
finally, been waiting for so long for something like this
I just bought the DLC and did 2 hauls, I noticed a bug/or weird behavior from those trailers!
Long heavy trucks are coming in the new dlc :)
LED beacons would be cool feature also
Very cool DLC, I hope the will bring more 8x4 Trucks in the future.
Best regards from Germany
The mods based on the DLC must be awesome.
I'm going to buy the DLC. This purchase will support the ETS2 team in developing new projects like the future Scania-Trucks
Sorry, wrong Vid.
I have already bought it for ETS2
😊
my truck is the volvo fh16 classic with a 6 x 4 and a 700hp engine the stats were for heavy cargo like a quarter of a bar so i took the 51 tonne load and it did good struggled a bit up the slope to the motorway but overall it handled it great
Squirrel, an idea for when the pack goes live, show off real life trucks and trailers so people see that there are a huge range and different styles of trailer and truck used for heavy haulage, so the trailers are pretty damned accurate representations.
THIS IS GONNA BE FUN IN MULTIPLAYER !
waiting for the ATS first look.. Nice video, Paul!
I already prepared my Volvo Fh16 Classic for the DLC ;)
Awesome video. I hope we get 8x4's in ATS with this dlc.
Hey Squirrel! Nice video and greetings from Brazil! Would be nice if you could do a video comparing the fuel comsumption between 4x2, 6x4 and the 8x4 when carrying the heaviest cargos...
Reverse parking with these loads is gonna be a pain in the butt unless there's gonna be a steering lock for the trailers.
please squirrel my summer car.so great to watch you play that game.
There is an axle in the very front near the back wheels. This should take the weight off the 5th wheel so you shouldn't have a steering problem in any axle configuration.
imagine what ets2 mp is going to be like with this dlc it will be mental
Miss these videos but summer car does look cool.
I hope they add this to or change the existing High Power Cargo Pack perhaps with 1 or 2$ price bump, while the ones that already have it (I don't) will get it (Heavy Haul) for free as a courtesy for supporting. I mean that thing is ancient.
bare in mind a double drive will push on straight in real life, but not as bad as with the jazzycat trailers lol
id love to see u use the lowest bhp truck and try pull the train a full journey
A 4x2 chassis works as well as na 8x4 with these trailers because of the front axle on the trailer. The truck barely has any weight on it, and can therefore pull it with ease. If that fron axle on the trailer was gone, things would've been a bit different ....
SCS needs to look into having the axles mean something. in ATS.. you can pull heavy loads with a single axle. they need more DOT compliance. should have to make sure you are allowed to take the load and capable. but hey.. if you want.. take the chance and risk the weigh station or random road side inspection.
Scs just made a new damn whole level of trucking experience with this kind of trailer. Can't wait to see the new updates, B trailers maybe? Lol
@Squirrel did trucks get any new beacons or other accesories? or are those lights on your scania mod lamps? i think they are
They are Mods
11:38 Try that on the onramp of a highway. You will have a VERY bad time there buddy. It's just gonna crawl. And if the AI were dumb, that would cause havoc :D
Nooteboom trailers are amazing. Not sure why we dont have them or similar in the states
The physics issue could be "fixed" due to the front axle on the trailer. Most modded trailers don't have that. I'd be curious to see you try that with the same modded trailers that don't have this front axle configuration.
It has been many, many moons since I've run Ets2 (and Ats ). I may have to jump on and refamiliarize myself
