"...and no, I wasn't paid to say that!" Dead useful to see someone going through the Patrol Phase step by step. It's not terribly confusing if you read through it a few times, but seeing it gone through step by step makes it so much clearer.
Interesting about the MG42, myself having read two great books by German machine gunners on the eastern front, I think the basic is wrong, the most common burst seems to be a 2 seconds 40 round volley, maybe the dice for this weapon might need an adjustment???
The phase in CoC isn't a set amount of time. It's an abstraction and a belt fed MG is able to sustain fire for longer, even if that is a two second burst as they don't need to change magazines. The dice are fine.
wow... 20 years of wargaming and after this video I understood nothing :-D The part of the Patrol Markers is absolut obscure, with the video showing nothing of what is being said
this seems WAAY too convoluted...and was expecting more of a demo game and not just a long long long ramble that you get lost in and forget what you have to do 5 mins before..
It's an explanation of the rules, not sure what else it can be. There's plenty of demo games on the rest of the channel. If you can do it better, there's no one stopping you.

Yep, my first couple of games were a bit confused, but once it settles in it's pretty simple. And no, I wasnt paid to say that either... 😂😂
Lol I have no clue how i got here but um, now i know how to play a game that i’ve never even heard of so, good stuff 🤙
Well done, can't wait for the next part!
Cheers! Part two coming soon!
Very good my friend, :-). Like it a lot, clear and calm explained. Looking forward for the next one.
Thank you very much!
Excellent stuff, just what I need as I'm starting off with CoC (late to the party as usual!). Looking forward to the next video.
Thank you and dont worry, I only got into it myself last year. The more you play the better it gets. Next part coming soon!
Better late than never!! Fantastic ruleset!
Really nice explanation, watching as a bit of revision for Saturday 👍
Cheers Andy, see you Saturday

Excellent instructional video!
Cheers Andrew, glad you liked it!
I have found this to be a complex and difficult game for me to grasp.
If you watch this series it'll give you a good idea of how to play, along with the other chain of Command tutorials that are on the channel.
Great video, very succinct 👍
Cheers Phil, I am glad you enjoyed the video!
Nice. Can you do one of these for Square Bashing one day?
Thank you, Square Bashing is on my list. I got side tracked with lockdown and playing solo games! But it will be made at some point
Very confusing to me

You're in the minority, I suggest you try playing something other than warhammer.
Confusing ruleset. Too much faff
thanks for taking the time to let us know.
