Awesome where you could tell it was a genuine reaction, the stop part was great too. You could tell how into it he was and how much she wanted to talk about it which bummed out the suspense for him. It's so hard to find a place to stop, but I didn't pick up it was the roommate immediately on my very first watch (I'm a dummy and didn't see it with lyrics so I missed it until my rewatch) so I get her excitement. She also ended up miraculously not getting shot, despite knocking over the can of soup and attacking robber #1 from behind. Not to mention robber #2 being on the verge of killing her before getting shot by the cashier. Still a bad day no doubt. To get out of that situation with just a broken nose (and maybe a little PTSD) was a pretty good deal given the circumstances.

When you stop before the crescendo, you take away a lot of the impact, and you take away what the artist wants the consumer to feel.
