    Why do you plant your poles into the snow when your turning so much

    • @ShreddingBliss
      @ShreddingBliss  5 лет назад

      Luis Pop it roots back to how I've learned how to ski - a solid pole plant keeps my upper body from over rotating and helps me initiate my turn.

      Shredding Bliss thank you for telling me I’m learning how to ski and I was just a little confused on why you plant your pole in the snow

    • @ShreddingBliss
      @ShreddingBliss  5 лет назад

      @@luispop8941 no problem! You will see many people nowadays who don't plant as much and you may even be taught to not worry so much about planting.. And while, yes, its importance isn't what it used to be, as mentioned, it can really help you initiate your turn, if nothing else, when you focus on planting the pole and "going around that pole, you'll be surpirsed how well your body naturally wants to initiate a turn". Good luck!

      The good thing about skiing videos is that they are just as good on mute! :)
