    A cordless, mobile gig rig! The 310 also has a mic input. All the old equipment is obsolete. Its only guitarists that want that ‘tone’. Drunk audiences just don’t care. They want something loud, and something they know, and can maybe sing and dance too. This is the most efficient and cost effective way of bringing this. Especially if you have a quick turnaround, and are doing several events in one day. Take a mobile projector/pop up screen with you and you can also can run a quiz, linking it via Bluetooth to the projector. Wheels/handle/water resistance make it perfect.👍

      yep, wouldn't say its safe using the guitar at high volumes but i definitely play to backing tracks with my 310 and if it was a small gig in a pub it could work yeah

      If I have only one choice, i would go for the JBL. What i particularly like about it is that it takes a microphone very good as well. This have a bass boost. Having an acoustic guitar with an EQ works well with JBL. And it has good outdoor headroom.

    Do you know a way to connect a guitar amplifier to a speaker like this one? i have a cort cm30r amplifier and i would like to hear my guitar from the speaker not the amplifier itself. plus it's louder aha.
    do i need to connect a cable to the speaker from the amplifier?

    Thanks for the demo. Good playing but the guitar tone sounds horrible through this unless you haven't really worked on the guitar tone. I doubt this can replace a good guitar amp or studio monitors. Probably okay just to jam to backing tracks if you don't care about the guitar sound quality.

    • @Capt.JohnGuitar
      @Capt.JohnGuitar  9 месяцев назад

      The speaker is good all around. Not really meant for guitar or a modeler. But you are correct, it cannot replace a good amp no doubt about that.

    • @Capt.JohnGuitar
      @Capt.JohnGuitar  Год назад +1

      Hi. It is not really coloring the sound when running a modeler thru it, but a bit tricky to make it close to "flat response", even adjusting the bass down, seems to have a bit more bass than wanted. But the speaker power is great, sometimes we use it for bass guitar and it can take it.

    • @Capt.JohnGuitar
      @Capt.JohnGuitar  8 месяцев назад

      Yes man, absolutely. This speaker has a lot of bass so just adjust as you see fit. But if you are looking to hear the amp simulations of the Boss GT1, you can look up the Headrush FRFR 112, it is similarly priced with this one. But this JBL to me is an all around, really not built for guitar but it sure takes it well.

    • @Capt.JohnGuitar
      @Capt.JohnGuitar  9 дней назад

      @@Sauvage_gaming_boys there could be several reasons for it. It could either be or a combination of these:
      - on your preset/signal chain, you used overdrive or distortion pedal on an high gain amp. This creates a lot of feedback so you need to tone down the drive knobs down a bit on either the amp sim or the distortion/overdrive effects, OR use a Noise Gate effect. You must be able to mix these in your signal chain. What works best when you want to use a distortion/overdrive pedal is to use it with a clean amp in your GT1
      Another factor might be that your guitar is not properly grounded. But if it is, i am guessing it might be because of your signal chain (preset). Try to switch off your Amp sim in your GT1 or use a clean type amp sim.
