Story behind the photo of me holding up four fingers looking very angry: I wanted to hold up a peace sign (Saw it in a cartoon. Didn't even know what it meant.) But I was four years old at the time, and my mother insisted that would make people think I was two. So I angrily held up four fingers instead. I honestly wanted to add the actual photo at the end, but sadly could not find it.
Thank you for sharing this! It is quite an intimate family story. I loved the little drawing, though! It was so cute!! And I would advise you to keep photos of young people hidden. The internet is not very nice when it comes to children ♡♡
I dont think ive related to a video this much in a long time. The line "perhaps you were never meant to be human" really hit hard as ive felt that way for a while. Also the part about some things changing and some not as well as not growing out of things. Ive felt for a while that im too chilish because of some things i havent grown out of. This entire video made me feel really validated and im so glad i found it.
I'm not the only one who does this! I love just running in circles and coming up with worlds or elaborate storylines or replaying the same scene again and again.
This is so relatable I used to spin myself in circles because I liked the dizzy effect on my head. I've never really fit with other people, I used to talk a lot but I keep myself quiet now because I don't want to say the wrong thing. I've always felt like a mistake, factory defect, out of place - I just could never make the right connections. I hope that I'll accept myself more in the future but I feel like giving up on everyone.
@@herrforehead The alienation can be draining... But even just by looking at the comments here, there's proof that: we may not be the majority, we may not be together, but we are not alone. 😌❤️🩹
this video isn't just 'relatable' to me. the character drawn looks almost exactly like (a stylized version of) me. these are all thoughts I've had before. this is a summary of my life. I don't know how to explain but it feels like you've reached through the screen and touched into my soul. I don't know who you are, but knowing that somewhere, someone in the world made a peice of art that touched me so deeply is a peaceful thought. maybe I'm just up too late and a bit too drunk, I don't know, but this is beautiful. you have created something beautiful to me. thank you.
"Searching for the missing piece" is a fitting song for that feeling. Your art style is absolutely beautiful. I love how grainy and "simple" it is. I've also felt like a mistake of the universe. I still feel that way, but it's good that this feeling is not an anomaly. It's something I know others have. Other feel and none of us quite understand ♡ Thank you for sharing this. It is really beautiful ♡♡
Over the years the internet helped me realize I wasn't alone, that there were many people out there that feel the way I do. And the moment I saw the song's title I went "That's the one!" Thank you so much! 🥰
this video is deeply relatable to me... thank you for making it and sharing it with all of us. seeing this makes me feel a bit less alone in my experience with life so far.
youtube randomly recommending me this as a gut punch callout LOL. absolutely felt-- the last line specifically. "few things you've ever loved". oof. (i used to spin in place instead of skipping, though) beautiful video. simple, but so evocative. great work
I cant believe my absolute luck of getting recommended this video out of the blue. I absolutely love this, the style, the tone, the message- Thank you for creating
RUFF LORE!!!!! There's something about this that I failed to put into words (Pretend I managed to say something sweet or profound lol) Awesome vid as always.
