- On Sunday September 10th 2023, the PCF kicked off the return of Classical Sundays for the Fall 2023 season with returning concert pianist Kariné Poghosyan, who played an exciting new program featuring a selection of solo piano works and ballet transcriptions by Aram Khachaturian (1903-1978), accompanied by brief biographical insights into the renowned composer’s life and work, in honor of the 120th anniversary of Khachaturian’s life.
Poghosyan is a powerhouse performer lauded for her masterful artistry. Her most recent concerts include two sold-out recitals at Zankel Hall within Carnegie Hall. Her pandemic weekly live-stream project was featured on NY1, ABC, and Katie Couric’s Wake-up Call.

Such a wonderful performance of Khachaturian's amazing music who deserves to be known much more. And a very interesting lecture about Khachaturian's life story.
