Now it'll be roasts from the stuff at his farm, and hopefully he grows more potatoes and I wouldn't be surprised if chips were unbelievably cheap there, coming direct from the farm with no middle man.
Can’t knock him, multimillionaire who could retire but has decided to back British farmers in a time they’re truly struggling. I’ll make the effort to go for a pint
So you're saying if I go to that wedding reception in a couple of weeks I shouldn't stand under the gable or on the outside decking area, drink the water, go into the loft, or use the bathroom? Should be fun.
That’s great I’m so happy for him. A place for all his produce. I hope he finds a good chef to get the best out of his food. Fingers crossed the plates are full and hearty.
Not only is he unique, he’s a bright chap. Who can blame him for capitalising on his name. People will go, just in the hope of seeing him, or saying they have been genius !
He has to name it "The Dog Inn", so that when the wife says to hubby, "Where have you been", he can honestly reply "DogInn" with a smirk on his face. (also a reminder that this local council is not like the one near his farm)
Is this just him “keeping up with the Mays” as saw James May bought a pub so assume he was consulted beforehand 😊 Good luck in the new venture Mr Clarkson
I truly think it's because of all the restaurant troubles with the council. He'll grow another umpteen ton of potatoes again and it'll be steak and chips FOR MILES and the takeaway chips will be unbelievably cheap because there's no middle man, just geralds wife feeding them into the slicer all day and straight in the fryers.
Just goes to show how much money is pumped into the show and presenters...good luck to the bloke, success. This has got to be a amazon sponsored project from the refurbishment to the opening and more...great tv.
When you know that in older times the pubowner was a very important man in the village and sat mostly on the council, today you are trying to survive. But if you look at James pup you see you can also have a nice environment where you can get good stuff and feel happy for the time you are there. A pub today is for the more, let's say, wealthier person, and for that reason, you need a more nicer interior. And dont forget Jeremy brews his on beer so the costfactor is lower than buying it from a brewery that you doesn't own.
I’ve passed this place thousand times but never stopped, it’s in a very accessible spot. I was unaware there was a doggin spot nearby they could have combined the two, The Hungry or Horny 🤣🤣
This will be THE WAY to actually USE all the stuff that was otherwise sitting in the farm shop, move a LOT of potatoes probably at low price AS WELL as his beer, maybe even join with a baker to use some of his wheat in bread at the pub, and I would NOT be surprised if there were options to buy stuff in bulk, like sacks of potatoes kept in the cellar if you asked and meat in the fridge if you asked. GREAT WAY to move his produce and likely the stuff will be SUPER CHEAP with no middle man.
Great to see a 'good news' story out of the UK in these dark days. I sincerely hope Jeremy is successful in resisting the efforts of the government and the Muslims to put him out of business.
Curious to see if pub will be new location for Diddly Squat restaurant or as well as? Also interested in any Council reaction? Best of luck with it Mr Clarkson. If, the pub does food, I bet it will mostly or all locally sourced to help out local suppliers and at least some of the food will be spicy too. Great, if so, I am just discovering spicy food and loving it. More employment for the area too. Response to video only.
As soon as it is opened, it will be packed, everyone loves JC, I bet he will get complaints from the locals, the council will stop at nothing to destroy him, they are all lonney leftists who hate him. Another Amazon Prime series coming up, I can not wait, it will make interesting watching.
