- The title says it all. On @KorgOfficial Gadget, it’s plug n’ play. BUT if you don’t have a desktop or laptop to set up your @ArturiaOfficial controller, the only thing it is good for is the keys. You might as well forget using the knobs and pads.

Currently binging Gadget videos to learn more about it. I love how you show your entire workflow with the screen recordings of Gadget, the bassline was super nice, the timing on the hi-hats was awesome, and the sax obviously is 👌. You make it look so easy, so smooth doing it live without major mistakes or stopping.
Check out my other videos where I DO make mistakes. I try not to edit mistakes out just because (1)everyone makes mistakes, and (2)you can see what I did, what's easy to miss, and what to avoid or watch.

I’ll hopefully have the drum pads programming fixed the next time I do a video with the MiniLAB. But I’m glad YOU enjoyed the video. Truth be told, I had some issues getting it to work, but that was because of my USB adapter.

That new MWAVE Bluetooth midi keyboard is an inexpensive way for breaking away from the cables. Also the birdkids Offgrid, Roli Blocks, Artiphon orba, etc

I've thought about that. The Keystep is more portable, but it has it's own built-in sequencer. It would be more than what is needed in my opinion. On The other hand, if I were using Gadget with a few Volcas....... Keystep might be the better option in that situation.

Brother is your alto sound going through a filter ?
That is an EXCELLENT question. I’m not using any pedals or effects on the street apart from what is on the PA, and as you can see, I don’t mic the sax. In the city, I don’t need to mic the sax. The sound bounces off the buildings so much, it almost like I have my own Amphitheatre. So, everything you hear is what was recorded by my iPhone.
What I did was apply an effect or 2 in LumaFusion. I added a graphic EQ and my own homemade reverb. I did a video on creating a reverb effect in LumaFusion. Feel free to take a look at it. If you use that app for video editing, you might find it helpful.
