- Such a cool compact horn! The wrap of this trumpet is really great. The ergonomics feel great, and there's great resonance in the hand due to the lack of a front bell brace. You also get a lot of feedback behind the horn because the bell is much closer to you than on a traditional trumpet wrap. The custom finger buttons look awesome, and you can't go wrong with a Getzen valve block!
Incredible versatility and beautiful sound colors. Check it out with our ACB FX mouthpiece, it's like a pocket flugelhorn (5:50). With a brighter mouthpiece like the ACB Pirone (based off of what was supposedly Roy Eldridge's piece) the horn really comes to life!
If you have any questions about getting your own Puje trumpet, send us an email at info@austincustombrass.com or visit Brent's site: www.pujetrumpet.com/about-puje/.

Man!! I love the aggressive look of this one over the earlier models. More trumpet-ish then cornet... LOVE IT! Think I'll use the money from the Eclipse & Powell to buy this puppy!! YES SIR, I know I'm getting it!!
Got me Excite!... HAPPY 4th Guys!!
Right on man! Happy 4th!
@@austincustom I need this little horn in my life. LOL
Thanks, Trent. You sound great as always!
That horn was amazing! The customer is going to be super happy!
I have one of Brent's earlier Shorty's and really love it! The compactness really suits me and feels so much more natural than any long skinny trumpet or huge flugel. The "instant feedback" quality seems to really help my playing also. Brent's an awesome guy and what a creative craftsman too . . . . . .but still eagerly waiting a couple of his new mouthpiece prototypes on back-order (hint, hint) .
Thanks for sharing!
From another Mainer to you two - wow, what a unique, fantastic looking and flexible sounding horn. What's the black cord I thought I saw flash by on the finger ring to saddle?
That is a band to hold the slides from falling off during shipping. Thanks!
Is the first slide actually a tuning slide ? I like the idea.
There's two slides at the 1st valve. One can be used to tune the whole instrument like a micro tuner. It's pretty cool!
Interresting to know what mp is 1cwe? Its the faint of heart piece? And is that copy of Til Brönner piece?
There's a video of the 1cwe already up.
Ouh okei i look it up thanks
Thanks Trent. Got one by Brent Peters....Oops, no .....make that two.
Why not buy a cornet?
Because it plays better than a cornet.
You can, I make those, too. It’s called the Mod and it is a fully conical horn unlike most modern cornets.
that horn is maybe the sexiest one you make!!!
