He isn't as much an 'actor' as he is a 'comedian'. He's great with providing a scene with consistent comedy relief, but on stage he isn't known for much else. He's a well known comedian with above average writing skill. Observant, funny, and expressive. And that's primarily what made him so successful in the entertainment industry. But, to say he has 'great range' is just objectively not true. He's definitely self aware and understands his limits, which is why he hasn't pursued a more diverse path that would display the depth of his character. And that's fine. He's eating well enough as a funny man. 🫡

I know the time will come but it’s going to absolutely break my heart when Kenan leaves the show. I really hope Lorne sees his importance and gives him like an executive producer position or something bc he deserves it.
They had a three week break between the Josh Brolin episode and this one. Plus, stand-up comedians do make for good hosts on the show, especially stand-ups who look like they could easily be part of the cast.
