ol George has more money than brains syndrome. He drowned a red wrangler last year. He likes to break shit. Got to give the dude some props for the full send tho.
For the love of God, someone please tell this guy to air down his tires. This was brutal to watch, and him driving straight into that boulder at the end was the cherry on top.
something was up with the wheel setup. even at a crawl there was way too much slippage, and the tires looked like they were maybe a bit too inflated? I bet if he aired down and tried it again a little more slowly he'd have gotten through it. He didn't seem like he didn't know what to do.
What the hell is this guy doing? I would keep my distance from him on the trail. I’ve known some people who drive like this and people need to keep back. He needs a sticker on his Jeep that says “Stay back 60 feet”
Driving the 392 is a different experience than the other engine offerings. You have to figure out throttle response all over again and that takes time. Likely this is the first time he has had to apply that much throttle off-road.
Heh, unfortunately, I don't think that's true. Quite a few folks on the Wrangler forums know this guy. He was described as having more money than sense.
@@Jackal_Blitz I don't know the guy but that seams to be true. He's been rescued a couple of times atleast by Matt's Offroad. Every rig is a high dollar build.
After 30 years of visiting Moab Easter Jeep Safari this is why we quit going. Capable Jeeps such as this...and drivers have no skill to operate such equipment. It is sad, but we are done with these credit card drivers. Jeep Safari has become a joke as there is no qualifying of drivers so folks sign up for trails way above their heads. Moab used to be a show so when something broke drivers had the parts and the skill to fix it out on trail.
Too much tire pressure? Maybe not a great driver? Spotter at fault as well for stating a little more speed? Good save either way. More balls to wheel than 99% of the 392 mall crawlers out there.
I agree that we do start somewhere, but before you invest so much into the vehicle, get a feel for it first, test it, and learn the vehicle's capabilities and limits, including your own, as the driver.
Only very capable vehicles were able to reach this point on the trail, let alone attempt the obstacle. Not trying to say he’s a novice or can’t drive (although some comments are), I just think that a lot of elements made that a very sketchy hill climb
@@Rubber_N_Smoke with that rig, a good driver would have been able to make it up there easily. I personally can do it in my 2003 wrangler TJ, with smaller tires, less clearance and a shorter wheelbase, less power ect.
This guy has a lot of money and absolutely no driving skills. Just glad he didn't destroy the Jeep.
We all start somewhere
@@sdiver68 Not like that.
Rich people!😂
That's the whole point of being rich: do things with reckless abandon! If it breaks, I can always get another one mentality! 😆

Is he even aired down?

I'm sure he was aired down. At least some. We've run trails on the RUclips channel I was on, at 15 psi and been lectured for not airing down
@@seanwatson3790 no way bro, you don't bounce like that on aired down tires.
Paul is a better spotter than that and George should know by now to air down his tires, use low range and finesse that JLUR up the obstacle.
This looks like a wealthy Ferrari guy attempting to wheel a Jeep.😂😂😂
Just because you can doesn’t mean you should
Well 4500 miles on the jeep. When did he start driving off road??
He remarked that it was his 3rd Wrangler JL and I believe he’s been off roading for a while
@@Rubber_N_Smoke @2:12 tells me that’s a lie

I'm a complete novice but the way his truck is bouncing makes me think he's got to much air in his tires.
40s should deform more than that, if he’s not at street pressure he’s not much lower

Sadly, this is most 392 owners.
That spot on Pritchet scares the crap out of me. I wonder if this is his first time on that trail? In a $100k, guy has balls
But no feel for it. Driving sideways on a ledge?
Looks like he needs to spend some more money on a power steering upgrade!
Would it have helped him to have less air pressure?
WOW!!
Hard to watch, glad man and machine made it.
Unskilled.
Axles are loving that
This is what happens when people have more MONEY then brains
200k? what kind of asshole charged this guy that much for a jeep wrangler? its just a jeep no amount of work should come out to that much

Yeah he attempted what most people turned around at

when a driver gets angry and does stuff fast, thats when bad things happen. glad it didnt in this case.
That thing pushes like a snow plow. The front end won't bite at all. Better check your steering setup and slow down to let it get traction
Portals give clearance, but they don’t give flex. They raise the cg, and if you’re not careful or smart about setup….
After making it past the fist part, why didn’t he just put it in 4LO- Crawl Mode?
Anyone there ever heard of airing down...?
i have a 62 FJ40 and yeah its a money pit, prob 50k into it, but still, i would never drive it like that.
That spotter was in the way. If you know someone has a heavy foot you give them the space.
George needs a wood block under the go pedal.

I would think portals would raise the COG
What a jumb😮
He sent it. 😂
Looks like he isnt aired down.
Paul has a ton of trust in a guy that doesnt even trust him self..
Some people trade jeeps like they have a tank....He just had LUCK that he did not roll over.
Sure hope this guy has sponsors. That could have been a very expensive repair.

$120K rig. $5 driving skills. Why the hell is he on Pritchett Canyon?
Should be driving a vw on paved roads
Tough to watch 🤷♂
More hp is seldom the answer.

Time for an LS7
What a squid. Same boy would run his mouth to me about my rig when I've run way way more trails.

This guy spends most of his time in a suit and in a office. He has no idea how to off road.
Almost flips and then takes a B route that should have ended it for him. Just the fact that he's got the auto roof tells me all I need to know.
I can’t take Jeeps serious that have the sky one touch. People look at me sideways when I tell them I didn’t want that option.
