Behind the kick panel on the driver side, behind the emergency brake release is a vacuum motor, there pricey at the dealer $129.00, $32.00 online and I have waited 10 days for delivery.! You might check that out!

You're welcome glad this helped you out. It's a little difficult to find the spot and to reach your hand in there to get to it. It took me about 5-10 minutes of readjusting to get it right. I do this every spring/summer when it starts getting hot out

Will this affect my heater in the winter?

This trick works for heater and ac. It wont affect the functionality of heat or ac it only redirects the air to the front vents where you want it in the summer time. I remove my zip tie in the winter because I want my heat to blow on the windshield
