Thanks for taking me on a tour with you. Much appreciated, as today, my wife took me to the V.A. Hospital as I've been coughing. So on top of pancreatic cancer surgery, chemo,,,now i am covid positive. Your video lifted my spirits. Thank you
That sculpture reminds me of a mace. I heard the original walking sticks where made out of Oak until the English started destroying the oak trees. Then the use of the Blackthorn started.
@@FrancisMcCaffrey5 I read this historic information a long time ago. Then again anything can be tracked down with Google. A professional woodworker friend of mine explain to me that Hickory is even tougher than oak.
Thanks for the historical items this time. I probably won't be allowed to come over as I am not getting the vac shot. Maybe you could one day come to New York and Kansas City. Be Well.

I know the place very well and it's not to far from where I live, it's a old estate town, cullaton estate, apologise for the spelling
What do Irish call the cane that Americans call shilleleigh?
Just a blackthorn walking stick.
Funny you should see a sculpture after the liveatream chat on Friday. Atleast it wasn't a painted cow.
Looked like a grand day out.
Yes i was thinking of mentioning this but only 20 were on the livestream
@@FrancisMcCaffrey5 you need to get in "painted cow" as a Easter egg in a video soon for us who attend it lol.
