I like how they re-created the syringer gun that nobody used from fallout 4 and made it in to a joke 😂😂

Another thing Bethesda screwed up, sigh, there's a mod that fixes it and boy is it fun int he right circumstance :P
Berserk syringe followed by a Stingwing or bloodbug larva syringe...their allies kill them, bugs come out and hey presto, more fun and XP ;)
I use mods that add LOTS more enemies and makes them tougher so it's a very viable solution
I use it to steal power armour off unwitting individuals with the Pax syringe. It requires full stealth and the console after you've stolen the frame to "make it yours". All you need to do is have a decent number of ranks of pickpocket and steal the fusion core out of the suit. The wearer is then forced to hop out and fight you without their shiny armour. You need the code to take the "stolen" tag off the frame, or you will upset some of your squad mates whenever you enter it.

My wacky grand theory (which is total supposition) is that Walter Goggins spokesman character DOES get his daughter into Vault 33 when the bombs drop, but for some reason, he is not able to get in. So, the daughter grows up in the vault, gets married, has kids, etc. down the line. Walter Goggins gets ghoulified and lives for 200 years. AND, the girl, Lucy, who is leaving the vault, is the descendant of Walter Goggins' daughter. Lucy would be Goggins' great-great-great-granddaughter. Wouldn't that be messed up!!!
In all honesty seems like a theory which could be right on the nail I like that idea

I definitely think the NCR are currently in decline, while the Brotherhood survived in the Commonwealth and Elder Maxson sent the Caswennan to the West to start the second NCR-BOS war

Yeah it’s pretty realistic considering they would one way or the other regress (food problems, corruption, expansion, etc). Man it looks like the roles have reversed. I’m just here to hope that cut scene with the dude holding an NCR flag is a full fledged subplot in the show. PLEASE. I had my doubts but if the show can at least explain without any plot holes on what happened to what, I’ll be fine, since this is “technically canon.”
@@dballerxx The biggest sign of that is the T60 armour they are using as standard. It means they got a supply/factory under their control.
The NCR could be completely gone. It could be a flashback of their demise.
After this trailer, I’m actually sold. I was worried about the NCR not being in the last one, but this looks pretty solid.
I really hope they didn't show the death of CX404 (The Dogmeat Replacement) during the scene where Lucy shoots the Ghoul with the tranq.
Also, they stated the airship you see in the show is called The Caswennan, which in Arthur-lore was another name for the Kings ship, so it could be Prydwyn, or another airship.
Also, just some theorycrafting, the most tragic thing they could do to Walter Goggin's character is have him actually save his family and get them to a vault, but he accidentally gets locked out.... So he just outlives them, never seeing them again as their trapped behind a vault door that wont open.

I wonder how the minutemen have branched out over the years, and i wonder if we will see companions from new vegas. Even though bethesda doesnt like the west coast they have to add the west coast factions. Otherwise ill like it but there will always be that weird somethings not right feeling. Im hoping Lucy has a reason to go to denver and have all of those sweet sweet van buren documents realized. The mural in the museum of freedom mentions a space battle on the moon. Give me some lore on the space war we have no idea about!!!! The still shot of the vault guy getting covered in blood makes me think the overseer shot themselves. Since hes away from the central hub. Everything ive seen makes me super excited.
I think I have it figured out. The guy on the floor, comedically fainted at his first sight of the sun, and she knows he really isn't hurt, so she leaves him there to be tended to by the others. The head is later carried in a blanket, that she has on her backpack. I think the head she is carrying, is the doctor the bounty hunter is looking for, and she is either carrying it for the ghoul, or he gives it to her, to collect the bounty, or she steals it from the ghoul or something.

The guy attacking Cooper in the power armor definitely isn't Maximus because it doesn't have the gouges in it and it's a different rank than Maximus's armor

I still can’t believe we’re getting all episodes on the 11th of April. A day earlier than originally planned. After this trailer I’m just overwhelmed with how great it looks. Yes I understand the woke thing can get annoying, but I’m not worried anymore after watching this trailer. I’m so excited to see the pre war episodes. I’m also very curious what music will play in the show. Fallout is this gem of a game that has exposed many new generations to jazz, rockabilly, doo wop and just older music in general. I hope they release an official New version of “I don’t Want To Set The World On Fire” because the version you hear in the trailer is cleaned up quite a bit and sounds a lot better. All of the cars you see in the trailer are real vintage cars from 1930s to early 1960s. The little garbage and crap you find in the wasteland, you see all over the trailer was a beautiful touch. The attention to detail! (16 times) Great analysis! I will happily watch any and all of your videos while we wait for the show to drop! Hopefully this will give more Motivation to Bethesda to remake Fallout 3. I grew up watching my dad play it when 3 first came out so it’s very special to me.

I love lucy and the ghoul and maximus, my biggest fear is that max isn't gonna get as much screen time as lucy and the ghoul, i love the idea that lucy comes back to the vault

I’m pretty sure the guy we see collapsed by the vault door wasn’t killed, but instead he got hit with a tranquilizer from her stringer pistol. I get the vibe that she slowly goes from pacifist through the show to a survivor that kills if need be.
yeah this makes way more sense, i think i was just in the meathead mindset of seeing someone on the ground and automatically assuming "well, theyve gotta be dead!" haha

As a female player of Fallout 3, FNV, and Fallout 4, I think adding a female protagonist could work if we see her SPECIAL stats evolve, driving deeper/more emotional storylines and interactions. If they can re-create the Fallout vibe which I believe is dark but cheeky and fun, it could be just as good as The Last of Us. So much potential! Life's been busy, but hearing about the show might push me to finally finish FNV before it starts. Have some tough decisions to make and leaning towards siding with the NCR who seem like the frontrunner. It's hard to imagine they would just be eliminated...will fans be upset with that storyline?

With this being set in California it’s obviously gonna have to have the NCR at some point and if I don’t see a live action NCR desert ranger I’m gonna be pissed

Im hoping they really show how much of a cult the brotherhood is.
I think some of my misgivings have been answered nicely in this. I was worried with the NCR, but they are there. They were in decline at the end of New Vegas, as they were having major issues with water and food (they'd grown too big too quick). The war with the Legion took a lot out of them, and their spat with the brotherhood. The famous saying is that war never changes, and the brotherhood have returned to finish the job. Perhaps one argument is that the West Coast BoS are a bit more people orientated versus the East coast but perhaps in their time of reflection after the events of New Vegas, they've had a change of heart (and leadership). The BoS were always morally grey so its good to see nothing has changed. The dog could well be a synth dog, it has a special name of CX404, which suggests that possibly our scientist (Michael Emerson AKA dude from lost, person of interest etc..) is also a synth? The only other place he could be from is the Enclave, or possibly another large organisation we haven't been fully introduced to yet.
I know for sure that Walton Goggins aka the Ghoul, is an actor in the time frame of 2077 when the bombs fell. He played the roles of cowboys and later became one after ghoulification, he is now a bounty hunter. He will most definitely be a companion of the Vault Dweller, as will our Scribe. He did that advert for Vault-Tec as a gig but somehow his wife is involved with Vault-Tec, I can't think of any other reason she'd be down in Vault 4. I suspect that his daughter didn't survive the bombs and this has twisted him over time.
Seeing the Axolotl at full size is insane. It is huge. Definitely infected with FEV, hence the fingers in its mouth. Haven't seen any super mutants but there could be a good reason for that, as no new ones were being created therefore only those like Jacob (smart mutants) are left behind.
Dude laying on the ground in front of the Vault door, why is the only 2 options "she killed him or someone else did" and not she simply knocked him out?

Yeah, 1st episode will be a pre bombs episode for sure. I'm guessing episode 2 will be life I side the vault and by the end, Lucy questioning vault life and looking to leave with episode 3 being Lucy leaving and exploring life outside of the vault and learning how to survive
I think visually it looks great. I think they got the lore spot on. I am excited to see how the story goes.

For me personally when I think about the enclave, I think about what about modus, from fallout 76. He technically makes a new member of the enclave if you join the enclave if you join modus, I think about this. What if the enclave has been rebuilt but not by pure enclave members but by waste landers of Appalachia who join modus and the enclave he has made

3:13, earlier I made a theory that the crater originated from the Master's cathedral in fallout 1 when it exploded and it was a part of the Boneyard. But because it says Shady sands library, I'm assuming this city was shady sands but there's no one around because maybe the Courier in the lonesome road DLC probably nuked the NCR and LEGION. That explains why later in the trailer the NCR look more weary with their weaponry and Armor. Which gives the chance for the Brotherhood to advance with support of the east coast chapter. So I believe that the brotherhood has a new goal to use the technology they hoarded to push forward and expand rather than keeping it for research, either as revenge for Helios ONE you know.
I think we're seeing the NCR and the BoS fighting over the control of LA for some reason. The BoS is obvioulsy doing pretty well with another airship, and all those vertibirds. The NCR has fought the BoS before (as well as the Enclave, the Legion, and various radier groups). I am assuming the NCR is alive and well, maybe weakened after the fight in Nevada, and is once again in conflict with the BoS - possibly over some pre-war tech the NCR got a hold of that the BoS wants. In thre trailer they aere fighting at / over the famous Griffith Observatory in LA. Maybe there is some crazy tech in there - or its a BoS base that the NCR wants, etc. Look at the Atlas Observayory in Fallout 76 - it looked like an astronomical observatory but inside it was a secret government weather control experiment that the BoS was VERY interested in.
10:30 did anyone else notice that they are flying the enclave flag in the background and not the brotherhood one?

Eh, it could be just an American flag. It's not visible enough to see if the E is there or not. Remember the American flag in Fallout, is the Betsy Ross flag, with the circle of stars, similar to the Enclave flag.
They have a pink set of power armor it would be cool to see Lucy wearing it. It was always my fav power armor.
Okay so hear me out, I think these are NCR civilians that are fighting alongside the NCR military against the BOS.

I don’t think the brotherhood of steel should gain more power mainly because if you think about it, the brotherhood of steel has locations all across the United States from the known location in Texas to the area around the Midwest to the Commonwealth to California to Washington DC and state
I guess we are just gonna have to see what happens but I see it more as a revenge story for their over 40 year long war with the NCR. That being said, who’s to say the NCR doesn’t get built back up by the end of things like the Minutemen at some point? 🤷♂️

I’m extremely rusty on a bunch of the lore so I’m not gonna be correct with this, I’m sure of it, but I thought all of the enclave were wiped out for the most part? Not too sure. But it would be really cool to see a cliffhanger at the end of the first season where the enclave shows up and then if we get a season 2 they could be the focus
@@dballerxx honestly, I like all the factions of the games I’ve always been personally interested by the enclave, mainly because they are a remnant of the pre-war government that has survived 200 years after the war and I think using their potential is a smart thing to do because even if you look at fallout three, there was a side quest in which I believe you gather the constitution of America for a character who is collecting relics from the pre-war America, and you can see that the legacy of America has never truly died, which I think it would be cool to have the enclave destroyed of all of their more aggressive commanders maybe settle down with like-minded wasteland who want to restore America and the enclave maybe doesn’t end it xenophobic side, but becomes more open slowly, and surely as the old people who used to live on the rig, and Navarro are mostly killed off through old age, because if you think about it, the enclave is one of those factions that has so much potential behind it, and if you listen to the eye bot companion from fallout new Vegas. He sometimes will have different audios that he recovers from his memories that talks about an enclave base in Chicago.
The people that are gonna made that lucy isnt gonna be a sex symbol that does add to the story, like those people really just prove they have zero respect for women, irl if an apocalypse was to happen there would be female survivers, that aren't mutfruit farmers
I actually think a female lead for the Vault Dweller is a good choice. In general, the fish out of water trope looks better on a woman. Plus it gives the chance for them to create the coveted "strong female character" without forcing it.

@@iceagebabyofficial1557 agreed. The strong female characters in Marvel have no flaws, which is what makes them bad. Based on this trailer alone, you can already see evidence of some flaws and character growth. As long as they don't make her really bitchy, she'll probably be good.

I think that Michael Emerson's character is injecting himself with the FEV virus. I have nothing to base that on, except that it's a common story beat for one of the friendly characters to turn into a genuine monster.

Fr though, if the East Coast BOS makes it back west (probably the remaining BOS swallowed their pride and called for help), the NCR would definitely lose. Depending on how badly they lose will be determined if they won the battle of Hoover Dam

I think the NCR hasn’t completely collapsed. Or at least more hoping it cause it is my favorite faction. I think the LA region has just become the primary war zone for the NCR-BOS war, possibly now on more even ground with the West Coast BOS maybe getting some help from everyone’s least favorite Scarfaced genocide and cool coat enthusiast sending some much needed reinforcements or tech their way.
I think this cause 1- the BOS in the show is just straight up the east coast brotherhood in terms of look, not resembling the west coast version at all and 2- if you look on the NCR map like a total nerd, the state of Maxson, where the BOS’ first bunker is located and where the west coast BOS is run,the boneyard AKA LA is the closest area to it, so the BOS might be trying to take it and move further into the state

Obsidian have tried with bethesda for fallout and elderscrolls spin offs, bethesda who have let's be fair destroyed the fallout series for most and trust in them even more have denied each idea
It's why we're seeing avowed, outer worlds 1/2 and more
Bethesda having the ncr in this can either be a win of or a loss of a major group of fallout fans and betheada fans as a whole
I have a few theories of what part of the storyline could be, but on the whole I'm not to fussed

Also, the speculation of what happened inside Vault 33 was comical…like listening to someone who has never played the games. Yes, a Hunger Games situation where they all kill each other until only one person is left…and then the experiment is over, and the vault is no more in a matter of a few years, not 200+. 🤦🏻♂️ I 100% guarantee that is NOT what happened, as it would make zero sense.
My theory was that they do a routine cleansing in the vault for those who apply for the program. The one who survives the gauntlet is the one who is proven strong enough to leave the vault and head out on their journey. I say in the video that not everyone participates, as it would obviously make it so there would be nobody left. Gotta use your ears :) also this was made the second the trailer dropped so not all thoughts are 100% planned out here as I was reacting to things in the moment. That being said, you also severely misinterpreted what I said 💀

like I said, this was my initial reaction lmfaoooo no need to get upset. I saw your last paragraph before you deleted it. I didn’t mean to hurt your feelings. If you want to see someone critically analyze every last detail with extremely planned out thoughts, there are tons and tons of channels out there for it. This video, I just reacted to what I saw the second the trailer came out. It’s not that deep at all. My words have zero impact on anything. I am not an influencer, I’m a random dude just like you. That being said, this is a one-off type of video and I normally do plan the videos out beforehand. I may still not get every last detail correct, as I am just human and it’s been quite some time since I’ve surrounded myself with Fallout info. Even though I am a fan of the games, I took a near 7 year break from the series as I had found different interests in life. The hype of the show recently brought me back and I decided to start creating content again. Didn’t have too much time to nerd out over the fine details of the series. I’m guessing you wanted the whole backstory so there’s some of it haha. Hope it helps!
