I love the idea of swappable bezels but I'd rather it was for different functions instead of colors. Being able to go between a timing/dive bezel and a 12-hour bezel that let me track another timezone would be game-changing.
🤤 A bit large for my wrists but a really sick piece! That brac + clasp does it for me, really unique, and the bezels (pl.) is an inspired touch. Great upload, TY.
I really like this overall. I love the familiar but distinctly different (to me) bracelet. The swappable bezel is also fun feature , makes switching to a strap more fun 😊
Oh wow, that bracelet is neat! Handsome, unique hands, too. But sadly, optical illusions aside, no way I can wear the 44/53mm size. But for those who can, RZE really does offer great specs and an instantly identifiable design approach.
That's what I like about my Helm Vanuatu. I opted for the additional stainless bezel. It's like two watches in one! RZE has a better swapping system however, with the screws. That is a great looking watch!
@@bogrot69 put my name on the waiting list but got a “lottery place” after only 6 months so bought it. Name came to the top of the list 18 months later so gave my code to a friend who is equally delighted with his Komodo. We both have our names on the Vanuato waiting list!!
Love my Vanuatu... Took a year and a half on the waiting list!! And that was about a year and a half ago might be longer now but definitely worth the wait.
I am fan of RZE,actually wearing their Fortitude right now.The wearing experience is superb, light but sturdy..wish that Fortitude had a Miyota 9 inside. This one is obviously too big for me,but I couldn't help but comment on that 12 o'clock coffin like indice ...
Peter - any idea what material the bezel inserts are? With three screws each time you want to swap it out, I would definitely need something scratch resistant for the insert! Also, there is frequent bonding and/or thread stripping between different metals, so might be concerned about the longevity of these tiny screws against Titanium. Some Ti watches with SS crown tubes have seem similar failures.
Another great review Pete. Big fan of my RZE. It might be interesting if they produce a brushed titanium case in a future design, just to add some variation to their finishes.
I like what RZE is doing. With this easy-to-remove bezel concept, they seem to be trying new things to make our “accessories” easier, more resistant and enjoyable to wear. With the economy as it is today, you want to get as much out of every purchase and they seem to understand that. Note that, although I love larger watches, it may not be the “norm” these days 🤷🏼♂️ That said, I’d get this one in a heartbeat 😍👍🏼 Thanks for sharing.
Great watch with unique features Pete. Downside for me is the price after the introduction periode. For €700 there are a lot of major brand watches as an alternative...
@@PeterKotsa exactly, the moment I saw it you came into my mind, a real watch enthusiast who also happens to be a great photographer! They should send one to you for a review 🤞🏼
I usually think RZE are a little pricey with the NH35 but with the change to a miyota at 499 with a second bezel it's a bit of a bargain. Shame it's just too big for me but I guess at 17cm wrist I'm not the target audience.
44mm!!! the only acceptable place to wear this watch is on my ankle. This 100% pure tool watch is intended to wear over a wet suit. I think this would be a beautiful watch if they downsize it a bit to 40mm.
You have now officially given new meaning to this hobby. I was happy to try out 2 watches (one on each wrist) Now the opportunity to wear one on each ankle as well has opened up a whole new world for me 😂😂😂😂👍
I'm a fan of RZE but not for their continued use of Japanese movements. Also this one is too big for me. I love what they do but to date they have never used a Swiss movement and I'll continue to take a pass on most of their lineup.
44mm is stupidy large, looks ridiculous on the average 18cm size wrist. Lovely watch otherwise, so congrat's to Popeye and all you blacksmiths out there.
I’m sad this watch is so big. I love all of my RZE watches and this one is beautiful. With a 7” wrist I just can’t do it. The lug to lug over 50 never works for me. Thanks for the great review as always
I really like the hands. They are very cool
Another banger of a video. Nice review; nice watch!! The interchangeable bezel system is really slick!
HEY PETE!!! Thanks for this great review 😊
love the interchangeable bezel 🔥

One word Zinn. Shame it's on the bigger size, but still wearable on a 7 inch wrist I'm sure. Thanks for sharing bro 👍

Will they offer both a dive bezel and a 12 hour bezel? That would really be something!

Agreed. I have 3 different bezels on my Helm Komodo, 3 different characters
@@baldeagle6128 Great watches for the price. Did you have to wait or did you get yours right away?

Nice review Peter.
If they make a 41mm I’m in.
Thanks.

My understanding is that they are brushed ceramic inserts

Let’s hope for some count-down bezels.
A real tool watch and ideal to wear over a wet suit. If I was still diving it would be a no brainier.
Great review as always Peter, very tempting watch. I am hunting for a white dial watch.
It's definitely a solid build and comfortable 👍

Its got a lot of good things going on here thats for sure 👍
Personally I would have loved it in 42mm, would have suited my wrist better

True 👍
My baby wrist can’t handle this but it looks nice a real cool watch
If they had a smaller version that would be great.
Well said!
The one time they make a large watch. Yawn...
Get big bruh
I will give it to myself on my 50th birthday.
This is amazing. Brilliant size.
Peter, please review the new Horage that's made for photography enthusiasts.
It looks super cool doesn't it, a photographers dream watch maybe?..

Fantastic review 👏 and Fantastic watch i want one today please 😂 🇬🇧
😊😂
Bezel held on by screws?
Sssssounds familiar.

😁
pete do u like their yellow orange peal dial?
I must say I do, its got a nice mustard colour to it
Nice looking watch, RZE stays true to the design language. But be it as it may, in my opinion it's a little too big.
Yeah, I would have loved to see this in around 42mm
What's your cat's name? The watch is great too.
Hahaha
Next time you come past for a visit, I’ll introduce you to the cat 👍
Looks like it wears smaller than 44/52.9mm. You're allowed to go big with divers, no matter what the fashionista's say, IMHO.
I would prefer a smaller case diameter.

44 mm dial? Almost 53 mm lug-to-lug? I need to dig out my Invicta from the closet because it must be 2006.
Hahaha😂
Just needs to be a littttttlllleeee bit smaller

Had to ship my brand new GMT back to them as it was shipped defective. Had to pay to have it shipped back to them. Not happy. Never again.
Sorry to hear about that Rob
So why would one want to make clicking noises with a useless ring? And 300 meters? I'll take the bridge thank you very much..
Two big. Lug to lug over 50mm....I am out.
Me too. 50mm lug to lug is the absolute max for my 6.5” wrist.
44mm is stupidy large, looks ridiculous on the average 18cm size wrist.

Ah yet an other skin clipper tinplate band watch...throw away the band, buy a NATO, and you'll have a more or less useful watch..
It's just too long 😭
Can change the bezel.... You also steam
Such a gullible person

Suits the bigger wristed guys for sure 🥲
I guess steal bezels like ones used by omega on the 90s seamaster are dead... Rolex used them too on the Daytona. No one else does at all. Sucks
Looking bigger is gaudy. It needs to be smaller.
