I know this is a bit too much but I noticed as well that your hyperpigmentation has improved tremendously as well in some areas. Is this due to your new skincare routine or are you using a product specialized for these areas?(for eyes especially) would really appreciate if you had any recommendations.

Just to add, I use a factor 50 sunscreen everyday, as retinol, and acids can make the skin sensitive to the sun. Also I do not do this daily, but every other day for just over a month, as my skin is in a good place I will rerun to doing this when needed 😘

if you are using salicylic acid,AHA's,BHA's and retinol,it is VERY,VERY important to use spf otherwise you get wrinkles much faster. also,if you are struggling with rough texture,blackheads/whiteheads, I highly recommend BPO (benzyol peroxide) with 2,5-3%. there is nothing better.

G. Nica where could i get that? the benzoyl peroxide in that percentage? and is it like straight BPO, or you mean that percentage in like a moisturizer or something?
+Sakina Sehgal pharmacies stock it. if you want a higher one you have to see your general practitioner
+Sakina Sehgal also try Paulas choice. They have great and effective Benzoyl peroxide products, with a the right PH to keep your skin healthy while using it.
Liz H so using those big bottles walmart sells for super cheap, as a spot treatment with q tips, would not be advised right?

If you look at what she is wearing/listen to what she says, Patricia makes it clear that she doesn't use ALL these steps daily everytime she washes her face. It's a process that she rotates through depending on what her skin needs and it's clearly worked well! You look beautiful, P!!!
just a tip for the ladies, you can achieve similar if not better results by dry skin brushing; also exfoliates the skin and causes all the toxins from under the skin to drain, this is why it clears up your skin. then cleansing gently with warm water and diluted black soap, rinsing with cold water, finishing with 2-3 drops of jojoba oil. this is my method. did this with no job and virtually no money. just looking out for us ladies on a budget who appreciate natural, effective, affordable, skin care. not knocking her method, just pointing out it can be done cheaper, without the chemicals if you have sensitive skin or lungs.
yes! i dry skin brush my body & now im gonna start brushing my face (with a new brush) LOL! totally glad i read comments. unnecessary chemicals are NOT my thing. thank you for this recipe!!!
What kind of brush do you use for your face?
hi meghan! i only have a tampico skin brush for my body right now. it's a natural material (which is best i think) and was under 9$ on pure formulas (fast & free shipping too!). i'll probably buy the same brush & only use it for my face. it works GREAT on my body before showers!!!

Get a good cleanser, mask, scrub and plain old coconut oil as a moisturizer and your skin will be amazing. Trust me. You can achieve amazing skin without all those chemicals.

I like that you came up with a list for your road to clear skin. I have large pores and dark marks.But I don't wear make up at all and I don't want to use a lot of products on my face. If I just get the cleanser, exfoliating, and a moisturizer. Do you think I would get some what of the same outcome? I'm just at the point were I'm really just too🙅fed up the dark spots. Every Time I try to get the white heads out with hands no matter how gentle it still turns immediately turns to a dark spot. I can't take it anymore🙍😓

Hey! I've found a serum that contains vit c, hyaluronic acid, salicylic & retinol all together. can I use that instead? My skin isn't dry but I have white heads all over my nose & a few on the rest of my face, comedogenic skin.
