Max Hopp sings Straus' 'Haben Sie schon einen Hausfreund, Gnädigste?' in a club | Pop-up Opera

Opera meets the city and the city meets opera. In the Komische Oper Berlin’s pop-up operas, select scenes from the company’s repertoire are performed in urban locations around the German capital, giving its inhabitants the chance to experience this memorable music up close. So far, more than 350,000 people have been reached through the scheme.
In this video filmed at the SO36 music club in Kreuzberg, Max Hopp sings Lucy Paillard and Fernand Maupreux’s duet ‘Haben Sie schon einen Hausfreund, Gnädigste?’ (‘Do you already have a man friend, your grace?’) from Oscar Straus’s musical comedy Eine Frau, die weiß, was sie will! He’s accompanied by Daniela Braun on the violin, Luise Sachse on the clarinet, Jörg Lorenz on the contrabass and Juri Tarasenok on the bajan accordion.
