Hello, I’m an Irish-Nigerian-American language learning RUclipsr hailing from New York!
I currently speak seven languages. Six of which I taught myself from scratch. By 2023, I aim to learn another five. The languages I currently speak are English, Japanese, Russian, Dutch, French, Chinese and Spanish.

As the husband of a disabled and highly vulnerable wife, I can totally appreciate what health issue can do to you. I don't blame you for leaving RUclips (at least for now), but will hopefully see you on here again soon. I always enjoy your videos and it's because you I discovered things like Language Transfer. Hey bro I know you've heard this a lot, but just do everything you can for your mental health. This isn't about us, it's your life and you live with you 24/7 year round, not with any of us. Just try to work on something that makes you get out of bed, as to not get depressed, and everything else is an added plus. I wish you the best!

Honestly I don’t give a shit about vr chat videos, I’d much rather watch something that you have an interest in making and are passionate about. I’ve been watching you for years so I’d love to support you any way possible. When your app comes out I’m going to start getting serious about learning Japanese so I’ve got high hopes for it. I’ve been in the process of learning software development and finding a job so it’s take the majority of my time so I haven’t been able to really feel motivated to also learn a language with the stress of making sure I’m financially stable. If you ever need any volunteer devs though for your app I’m sure myself and a bunch of other subs would be more than happy to help as much as we can. Also focus on your health first, if that means a video only once in a while or never again so be it.

Hello Ikenna, let me tell you something.
1 - Don't bother with pumping out videos, quality matter more than quantity here. I myself have a RUclips channel but I don't pump out vids, I make content that makes people feel they are now more valuable, they now know more than they did before. And I keep planning on doing it like this. And this is how it should be for all RUclipsrs. So keep making those great videos when you have the time.
2 - Don't ever give up, when I heard you were sick, I got really upset, I was afraid you would just give up on living, get depressed. But seeing you happy makes me feel so great. It was your vids which brought me back to language learning. Really gave me hope when I thought I failed doing it. I gave up on language learning long ago, but after your vids, it brought new life to me. It brought me back to language learning, and I can't thank you enough for that. Stay strong brother, and remember, with these vids, you are showing world not to give up no matter how bad things are, you are an example to your viewers, giving hope to many who think they can do nothing.

When I got sick I was down and out for a few years, and I spent a lot less time making music. It took a really long time for the passion (maybe motivation is a better term) to come back when I came down with CFS and autoimmunity.
I can’t really speak to my hobbies being my job, but I think you should not stress yourself to make videos if you don’t have the energy for it. When you suddenly find yourself in a position where you’ve got health issues, you find that it’s much more worth it to make good use of your time.
Also I’m stupidly excited for the app lol

Hey dude, I just want you to know you ARE the reason I've been learning Chinese for a year and a half. The singular reason. I stumbled onto your channel because RUclips recommended one of your funny videos to me, I wasn't even seeking out language learning help. One binge watch later, and for the first time in my life I felt like I could learn a foreign language. Let the hearts of your fans support you! /) I am excited about your app. I have been wanting to learn Italian for a while ( I am currently working on my doctorate so Italian is on the back burner for now).
Just take a good break brother. Sometimes you burn yourself out when you give all your time and energy into something. When you feel a disconnect, it's good to step away, disconnect, and reevaluate yourself. Get better, and focus on your health and come back to it whenever you feel the time is right!
