I can't wait to see the Discovery LXE walk around. Only 4489 more days until retirement and full time RVing! 2033 Fleetwood Discovery LXE will be my new home!
Haloman1346, I will be sure to grab a couple for a walkaround. Make sure you get ahold of us when your ready. I love the countdown!!! 2033 with be my 30th anniversary with Fleetwood (maybe I can do a walkaround video on the NEW 2033 Discovery LXE). LOL - Mike -
I have an 02 fleetwood expedition 36t. Solid built. xc chassis. Interesting to see this walk-around and some components being identical 20 years later. Specifically engine components and a few other things.
That’s a beautiful coach. The 100% flat floor in the master bedroom is a great feature. Just one suggestion……. Wear shorter sleeved shirts, you got some great looking ink!
I would like to view a live demo of the safety package (Safety View) cameras. Your description in the video makes it sound so simple to operate, but I need to see it actually work.
Betlenut, Thanks for watching! That is a great recommendation. I will try to get a video made in the near future to show the operation of the Safety View system. Thanks - Mike -
Great Looking coach upon Initial Look. WE see that a great many manufacturers are going after the Newmar New Aire our Favorite 35 ft. coach.... Wish the Radiator was a side mount type , Nice 50 amp electrical reel . Concerned about the Inverter being located in the compartment above the Catalytic / Exhaust Furnace . Like the coach cameras being located up high. Like the Alloy / Heritage .. Would like to see the Greystone....Pretty tight when closed up. The seating looks to be very plush and comfortable. Make that Stove top removable ...Love these all-electric coaches. The bedroom is lovely, plenty of storage..
Eskimo Mosul, Thank you for the comment. One thing to keep in mind is the MSRP on the Newmar New Air is $200,000 more. We have other models that compare to the New Air, but the Frontier was build to offer as many high-end features as possible while still maintaining an attractive price point. - Mike -
Jason, I believe the product guides are coming out soon. Keep and eye on Fleetwoodrv.com and they should be available to download there. Yes, the Frontier has a 6,000 Watt Cummins Onan generator and that is accessible through the front hood. Thanks - Mike -
Great presentation, as always. Very beautiful design. The Frontier website is so new, that the price is not listed, nor on the brochure there is no explanation what is included in the "Safety Awareness Package" as you provide in the Technology Package for the Discovery LXE model. In you next video, I would like you to show us the roof, and maybe provide the option of a roof ladder. Best, Steve and Deb from Western Mass.
Steven, As of the time I filmed this video pricing was not finalized yet. We now know that base pricing for the Frontier 34GT is MSRP $314,022. Now we all know nobody pays MSRP!!! The "Safety Awareness Package" includes - Mobile eye collision mitigation and Safe-T-View (shows all exterior cameras on your interior TV's). The other package that may catch your interest is the "Connectivity Package". This includes a 300 Watt solar panel, WeBoost cellular booster, and Wifi Ranger Sky Pro 4 w/ LTE. Thanks for watching - Mike -
@@fleetwoodrv Waiting anxiously for the full brochure, as that will disclosed what is contained in each package. Watching for the Discovery full brochure as well. Best, Steve
Celeste, Thanks for the Question. The Frontier 34GT does not have an option to have a free standing dinette and Credenza installed. However the Frontier 36SS does come with the new Adap "Table" if that is an interest for you. Thanks - Mike -
@@fleetwoodrv FYI, having an RV that has *both* an Adap Table & full back wall bedroom closet would be the ideal. That would be an amazing floorplan for these lovely smaller Class A's. Many couple & solo RVer's can happily do without the 1/2 bath & excess TVs for _both_ features above. Thank you for listening.
Our plan is to have as many coach at Hershey as possible. We should have one there. You can ask your closest dealer. Be sure to follow us and hit that notification bell so you know when we release new videos.
What do you think is the difference between the Fleetwood Frontier 34GT and the Holiday Rambler 34RX? I say it's the same build on both other than décor choices.
Ralph, You nailed it!!! The Frontier and Nautica are sister products. The 34GT and 34RX are basically the same other than decors. The Frontier comes in a 36SS and that floorplan is unavailable on the Nautica. On the other hand Nautica comes in a 35QZ and a 35MS, those floorplans are not available on the Frontier. Hope this helps Thanks - Mike -
Great videos but… how about including msrp and lengths so we don’t have to read through all the comments to find the answer.. side entry ? Something not entry level like the pace arrow… make that over head bunk actually useful with a side entry.. did I mention side entry would be nice ? Lol.. I still, think you all have the best units keep,up,the good work..
Lawdg, Thanks for watching and commenting. I have started including MSRP in all the newer videos. Unfortunately the Pace Arrow is the only side entry diesel we make. Thanks - Mike -
John, Yes ALL Fleetwood diesels will have Brank Sync included for Model Year 2022. This Unit is a Proto and was built on an existing chassis, so this perticular unit does not have it. Thanks - Mike -
@@fleetwoodrv you might want to indicate that the base weight is significantly lighter than the GVWR. Most people just subtract the GVWR from the GVWR to find out what they can tow, but that's not accurate. You need to weigh the coach and subtract that from the GCWR to find that figure
The RVkeys, You are absolutely correct, A 34GT has roughly 7,176 pounds of OCCC. Whatever is not used for cargo may be added to the 600lb difference in the GVWR and GCWR. So If you carry one TON of gear you can still tow 5,776 pounds. Thanks - Mike -
@@fleetwoodrv Mike, As an RVer for more than 6 years now, I recently realized the confusion of these acronyms and how many people do not get it right when it comes to what it means for them and their rig. Mike I have a couple of questions. First any opinions for a dishwasher? I do realize room is hard to find. I do like the white cabinets. Does the furniture come in a white or off white? Alcoa wheels? I saw a sticker on the steer axle that didn't look right. When will you have a chance to walk around the S model? Thanks
Ron, Unfortunately there is no current option for a dishwasher from the factory. As far as the White furniture goes, We have a decor called "Anchor" that will have a really light grey furniture. Very, observant on the wheels! I just got off the phone with my FCCC rep and they are indeed Accu-ride wheels. The 36SS will hopefully be rolling off line next week. Then I will get a video shot and uploaded. Thanks for watching - Mike -
My vehicle weighs 5,000 lbs. The 340 is enough to pull my vehicle but I think the Allison needs to be a 3,000. I like the coach but may be a bit weak to pull my vehicle comfortably.
