    Ross does deserve the larger share of the blame, but Rachel isn’t entirely innocent either. If you compare Ross and Rachel to Lily and Marshall from how I met your mother, then you’ll see why, particularly when Lily was having her dream job working as an art consultant for the Captain. Marshall felt neglected, and lonely, despite his best to support his wife, Lily until he had an “experiment” with Ted. It wasn’t a real cheating affair, but Lily realized her mistake, which is make even a little bit of time for your partner, even if you’re busy, or else. Marshall also realized his mistake too. There is a similar example with Jim, and Michelle in American Reunion. You can’t wait for alone time, where you have to make it. Rachel didn’t realize her mistake, which is she didn’t make alone time with Ross, even if it is a job that she loves. Ross should have kept trusting Rachel, but it is hard to maintain a relationship, if there hasn’t been any alone time in a while. Remember what Jim’s dad said in American Reunion, make time, and don’t wait for it. 🤔🙂

      nope, Ross doesn't deserve blame. Rachel was actually the worst, most jealous, and toxic, and didn't deserve Ross. She was smug, arrogant, a liar, a hypocrite. Ross was, in fact, her victim and he was a sweetheart who made a mistake while being drunk and taken advantage of! Ross was literally hopelessly in love with her since day 1 and did everything for her. She broke up with him, and yes, he slept with Chloe too fast but it wasn't cheating since Rachel broke up with him. And it isn't up for debate - Rachel herself went to Ross' apartment the next morning& asked Ross if she could be his girlfriend again, why would she do that if she didn't break up with him? She did, period. However, the main point is, that Ross was drunk. He was drunk, wasn't himself and Chloe used him. If it was a girl in the same situation as Ross - drunk at the bar, and vulnerable because she just had a fight and broke up with the love of her life, and some man would make a move on her, as Chloe did on Ross, the comments would be way different. But it's Ross, a man, so people unreasonably hate him. But the main thing is, Ross NEVER wanted to sleep with Chloe, he was drunk and lost control like we all do when we are drunk, so he didn't hurt Rachel on purpose. Rachel, on the other hand, always hurt Ross on purpose, like when she straight up lied about who came to whom when they conceived Emma and wanted to humiliate Ross. This is the story of their lives on this show. Rachel was always hurting Ross on purpose and sabotaging his relationships on purpose, she also was WAY more jealous and possessive than Ross and did more awful things out of jealousy but most people act like they don't know this. So let's see: Ross was only really jealous of Paolo and Mark, and turned out he was right about both. All he did with the Paolo situation was he actually told Paolo he loves Rachel and will be sad if Paolo ruins it (the blackout episode) then he let the relationship between Rachel and Paolo runs its course naturally, that's it. With Mark, all he did was send the musical band to Rachel's office, plus he bought her a lot of stuff and openly told Rachel he was worried about Mark because he already had trauma from Carol and her cheating on him!! Rachel didn't understand it, and it turned out, Mark did want to date her. Meanwhile Rachel: cunningly, she gave Julie and Ross bad sex advice on purpose, called Julie ugly names behind her back, and actively run after Ross and kissed him when Ross was still with Julie ( so I guess Rachel only cared when someone supposedly cheats on her, not on others, and not when someone cheats on someone else with her), she ruined Bonnie hair and sabotaged her relationship with Ross at the first chance she got, attacked and mocked Ross in front of the girl from the shop who liked him and called the girl b*tch, she was awful to Emily and tried to sabotage her marriage to Ross too. Yes, she stopped herself, thank God, at the last moment but after Emily ran away, Rachel at the wedding party, still talked on and on about how Ross said her name at the altar and that he really loves her, - yeah, so 'classy', and an episode later told Ross she still loves him, while he was already married. She was playing with his emotions, heart, and life over and over AGAIN after the breakup. First, she told him to move on, then sabotaged his every relationship, was crazy jealous, then when he wanted to start things again, she rejected him. I'm a girl but I hate Rachel exactly for this hypocrisy of hers and her fanbase. And I want to be objective. And this is just on the top of my head, but the list goes on and on. The FACT is Rachel was the WORST and most toxic, but some people, especially hardcore feminists, I noticed, are biased toward Ross, and the majority of the people who say Ross was the worst actually didn't watch the show or don't remember. Anyone, who actually did watch the show, knows Rachel was the WORST. Ross was as I said, her victim and deserved WAY better.

    • @aditi946
      @aditi946 Год назад +2

      No here its not Rachel's fault at all . In a relationship sometimes you unknowingly don't give as much attention to your partner and yes they should talk it out and Rachel would have if he had not started behaving like a Maniac . First of all that fire incident . Imagine being already stressed out because of work and then your partner coming in and embarrassing you. And then with that showdown with Mark when he was with another girl.
      Rachel was already new to this job world and she wanted to have a nice image different from that spoiled, sheltered girl image she had and a jealous controlling bf doesn't help with it .
      He should have first of all done the talk at home and thought about his actions before barging in like a impulsive teenager .

    Crazy how a huge portion of the Friends’ fandom has empathy for all the characters except Ross…
    Not only the guy had a major trauma because of what happened with Carol + he made a huge mistake the night he slept with Chloe while being drunk, emotionally vulnerable because he thought that his relationship (that he dreamed of having for so long and was going very well before Mark) just ended AND Chloe took advantage of him.
    But NO if you hear some people Ross is just a piece of trash who just woke up one day and decided to sleep with another woman just because.

    So glad to see people finally calling out Rachel for the mess she was. Its crazy how Ross was villianized by the fandom when in fact he's a very sorted person aisde from his equation with Rachel. He was a good friend, good father, supporttive of his ex wife who btw cheated on him and broke his heart, he accepted Susan as a co-parent, he stood up for Monica, he was passionate about his work, and he had some amazing girlfriends who actually cared about him and were also much more attractive than Rachel. Meanwhile Rachel was a selfish cruel and vindictive person. She left a man at the altar with no explanation, depended on Monica for everything, was terrible at her waitress job even though she desperately needed it, was a terrible roommate, and the guys she dated were all nut jobs, the sleaze Paolo, Joshua whom she desperately chased, and Tag who was just a child (in mind and attitude). Her worst act? She actively destroyed all of Ross's relationships even though she didnt want him. And then she came on to him and refused to admit it later. She was the worst character ever. And people overlook all of this because she was pretty. If anyone else had played Rachel, you would all hate the character because she was simply horrible.

    You all - your problem is, just like most people who can't give Ross a pass for anything, that you have empathy for everyone on this show, except Ross. Ross didn't mean anything bad. He was just simply afraid Mark would take away Rachel, yes, he was insecure here, like all humans in romantic relationships are from time to time, because of his trauma with Carol. His insecurity here stems directly from the trauma of a woman he once loved, his wife, cheating on him and leaving him for someone else! You forget, just like this whole fandom, that Carol cheated on Ross and ruined his confidence, his life, and his future.
    In fact, if anyone on this show had any good reason for their insecure/questionable behavior, it was Ross in this case, because he went through true trauma!! (other characters also did stupid shit and yet this fandom always has an excuse for all the rest). If somebody cheats on you, you will see what I'm talking about. Hurt like this is deep and devastating. So Ross never had any bad intentions here, it was his trauma talking! And you have zero empathy, just like Rachel, and this is why no - Ross wasn't awful, actually, Rachel was. Rachel was supposed to be an understanding partner, and she was selfish and self-involved.
