My husband and I watched a documentary on the slimy undercurrent that is happening in Nashville. It affects tourists, the drug addicted, the performers trying to make a name for themselves, the homeless, etc. It was rough to watch, but it taught me…do not go to Nashville.
@@charlescharlemagne4907 Charles, I’m so sorry. It just happened to be on a Direct Tv channel on a rainy day and the City of Nashville caught our attention so we watched. It also talk about what some struggling artists go through to get attention and opportunities to sing and along with a serious drug community, totally turned me off Nashville. I do get it though. With a rising, developing City comes new challenges and issues, but this reflected a City that is completely opposite from the stars and lights; a city where caution should be used at every turn and that advice should be given to tourists.
The newer generation seems to be a lot of the problem. Twenty years ago Nashville was a beautiful safe city now almost like every city they look like slums....
This is my thoughts, growth of a city comes with resources and the effects can be the following, high crime, higher drug trafficking and systemic poverty.
Wait. I am confused. I was just there a month ago. The people were very nice. It grew on me, to the point I have been looking into real estate. My sister lives there and wants me to move there. I did a google search, crime and safety in Nashville vs Atlanta. I was shocked ! Nashville is more dangerous than Atlanta. Way more. Guess I have to break the news to my sister.
The transplants ruined it. Whenever people flock to something it gets destroyed. Its for tourists the cool people are on the outskirts now. Hendersonville, Franklin, Gallatin, Lebanon, Springfield and Mt Juliet are cool places.

Same Ole same
You don't even here about half of it. The season is about to change and when the weather gets nice, the kids come out to play at night.
I was just going to post those exact words!
Every big city has a lot of vice nowadays. Nashville is growing, so is the crime.
a certain demographic doing what they do in every city. Nothing new
Very sad to see crime is so out of control that no one is safe anymore
That depends on your neighborhood. My area is pale boring safe and awesome.
I’m so sorry! 💔
What on earth is happening in Nashville???
Cops scaling back their LE duties it seems. They tend to do that a lot.
just the 14 percent demographic doing what they do

Sad. He was just doing his job. Sending prayers to the family .
The shooter is most likely unemployed
Crime is out of control in the Nashville area. Unfortunately, so is corruption. Have to watch cmt instead of traveling to town!
Prayers for the family. 😔💔🙏🏽

A young black man who enjoyed Rap and basketball was gunned down in a big city.
I don’t think that’s ever happened before.
You got to be desperate to work security around the dangerous ones.
If everyone is coward , whose gona do it

Maybe it was the ghost of Riley , haunting the streets of Nashville wit his whiteness
