Think about how dumb you have to be to let the worst player in baseball bat, with the bases loaded, in the ALCS, when the backup catcher is a legit offensive threat...

You shouldn't have to depend on the 9 hitter to come through for you especially if he's a below avg hitter. Don't let the rest of the hitters off the hook.

@@ktcarl Actually you do have to depend on the 9th hitter when he's the one with the opportunity! This is the playoffs, there aren't many opportunities, any other manager in baseball would have pinch hit Diaz but Crusty is WAY TOO STUPID to do that. This loss his 100% his fault.

Alex Bregman needed situational awareness with Chapman I know he wasn’t thinking home run but there’s no excuse for that. Alvarez had had struggles with lefty’s all game: And he got his pitch. Knowing the spot in the order. Middle middle. Would’ve changed the game and possibly the way this series will go. I’ll come back to this comment when this series is over and see how well it ages.

The team is well above .500 with Diaz catching, instead we get Moldy at the plate with bases loaded because Crusty is too stupid to prioritize offense when we are down 2 runs. We will lose this series based on Crusty's incompetence. I can't wait until he loses us another game by going to Maton with men on base. Maybe then the Crusty curse will finally be over.

On one hand, optimistically, we've been here before. We've lost game 1 of World Series and ALCS before and pulled through.
But on the other hand.....JESUS CHRIST this was 2020 vibes BAD. Pitching kept them in the game but for fucks sake we just could not catch a break. Every 50/50 ball that looked like it had a chance ends up getting caught, play made, get the out, come up empty. Every. Fucking. Time.
I mean that ball off Bregman's bat goes from HR to double play......

That's been the offense all year. Inconsistent.
I expected us to lose game 1, but if we lose game 2 it's gonna likely be over.
I picked the Rangers to win the Division (almost did), so it would only be fitting they end out season.
They impressed me to make it to rhe Playoffs, but they're not as good as last year and they barely won then.
Also, Kyle Tucker needs to do something. Been dead all playoffs.
