Honestly? Mixed feelings. There's so many bs in the net on the hater's side and equally wishful but unrealistic thinking on the fan's side, i fear desaster....
Interested but I definitely hope that Leslie doesn't screw it up with her Woke bs and sexual politics. Like she has done with all her films through the years. I am not a fan of hers at all.But will give it a chance like everything else in recent years on Disney + . As well as the last three films that was just a pathetic attempt for a trilogy cash cow but fell flat on Reylos face. I own the Blue Ray disks of the first 6films but had zero interest in owning the last three polished turds and I really hope that the Acolyte does go down that path but probably will. I was very excited about it when it was first announced just like I was with the Asohka, Kenobi, Mando, Book of Boba and the Andor series and sadly the best ones were definitely the Mando and Andor followed by Asohka and Kenobi. I liked the Kenobi show for the few scenes of Vader and Kenobi being together on screen since Anakin fell to the dark side. But with the Acolyte it's the first live action dive into the dark side and probably should have been something that Dave and John were the boss of over Leslie.

If I were in charge of Starwars, one thing I would do is green light a Luke Skywalker, Clone Wars animation style project. The story will be Luke after ROtJ, traveling the galaxy researching the Jedi and Sith. Luke's adventures will be based on his battles with the remaining Imperials along with arcs of his archeological efforts to tell the story of the history of the Jedi. The show can be used to showcase the Lore vs Cannon and round out the characters that are in the sequels. Who is Maz anyway? any who Utiini, Wootini, Martini.
Scrap the story-by-committee dross and bring back some writers with proven track records to plan out live action

Above all else I went a Revan trilogy and spin off shows. Treat it like the Skywalker saga.. except it could be the Shan saga following Bastillas bloodline like the Skywalker bloodline that would be good
If I had Lucasfilm we would do a Darth Bane trilogy, sticking to the books as much as possible. Fav and Filoni would have the greenlight to produce and direct all 3. And I’d want George Lucas’ input as much as possible at every stage.
I would make "Legends" canon again and make the sequels legends 😅

If I were in control I would definitely release the original trilogy in their unaltered glory for starters. Also would do a show or two set in the in between Episodes 3 and 4, one focusing on a young Boba Fett.
If I owned Luckasfilm I would love to explore the entire history of the Galactic republic. Palpatine in ep 2 says that the republic has stood for 1000 years and we’ve never really explored those years in the EU with the canon High Republic being the only exception.
But I was to go beyond the high republic, we still have another 750 years unexplored here so here are my ideas: I will start with the Rise of the First Blue Shadow Virus which was said to have killed many though-out the galaxy until it was eradicated hundreds of years before the Clone Wars. Then we will explore the battles of Rashfond and pease keeping of Polion as mention by Professor Huyang during the Youngling Arc of CTW series. Last but not least I will go back to when Yoda was a Youngling and that Adventure he went on while getting his Kyber crystal with Huyang.
If I owned Lucasfilm I'd make Mara Jade canon and task Tony Gilroy with making a Mara Jade show that's somewhere Andor and Ahsoka. I'd also greenlight more Asajj Ventress content, a second season of OWK (based on what they were going to do when s1 was originally a movie, reunite him with Cody), get Temuera Morrison as Rex in Ahsoka season 2, also a second season of TBOBF (with better writing that actually focuses on Boba Fett rather than The Mandalorian season 2.5), and the Rogue Squadron movie/show we all deserve. And finally... a KOTOR series (someone mentioned Keanu Reeves as Revan and now I can get that fancast out of my head).

I have always loved the idea of a Darth Plagueis film, it has so much potential there.
As president of Lucas film, I would make sure that what screen rant said that George Lucas in the past said the first Skywalker is the first prime Jedi, founder of the Jedi order and also make a connection between house clan vizsla and the skywalkers because the only thing tarre vizsla and Anakin Skywalker having common is that they were so powerful and strong that they didn’t need the rank of Jedi master Jedi knight was more than enough

I would love to see a Bad Batch feature film in live action. Maybe some of their Clone Wars era adventures or even post Bad Batch cartoon series of them working against the empire. That is if they survive the cartoon series season 3.
As president of Lucasfilm, I would start developing movies after the Sequel trilogy. It's uncharted waters which could be fun.
Just as long as they don't suck like the pathetic last trilogy that was an utter failure and had crap writing. DISNEY should have stuck with the scripts and outlines that Lucas Gave to Disney when they purchased the rights to Star Wars. If they did they would have had hits compared to the crap films that were made that had weak, woke characters and a crap storyline. Disney simply doesn't know Star Wars but thinks they do and employs woke directors and writers who insert their politics into everything they do. The only thing keeping Star Wars alive is John and Dave and without them Star Wars is a dead horse that Disney keeps on kicking for money. They also should get rid of KK and promote John and Dave to split her duties for the Star Wars universe. In short if they can't sell John and Dave on a movie or show plot it will not get made where KK is willing to green light any woke story that is put in front of her.
Bring the Lucas feel back to Star Wars and tie everything together as best as possible.And possibly a 10,11,12 sequel

The first thing I would do would be to add Karen Traviss to the Story Group.
I'd release 2 low/mid budget movies a year, set in the universe, focus on single ideas or characters. Major tentpole every 2 years. TV both live and animated to tell new stories, new characters with no more than 20% nostalgia bait. At least 4 titles a year, one per season.
What if it was Darth Venemous? What is Plageuis was his second apprentice? Also, a 15 year old Plageuis could be really cool. Maybe Muuns age differently.
Day 1 I would definitely green light an Old Republic show. Obviously live action would be preferable but animated you could put out more story. Then I would be a tales of the Sith type series but longer episodes of Bane-Plagueis
There are way too many gaps of Info from Bane to Plagues it would be nice to follow the entire rule of two line of sith lords make the season about the sith lords building their political power while tracking down and exterminating false sith lords you know there had to be false sith lords along the way and I'm sure the rule of two siths used them to their advantage.

I remember watching David Harewood back in 2009 when he played Friar Tuck in BBC’s Robin Hood, it will be really good to see him again.
I was thinking David Harewood should play a Jedi and I rather see Darth Malgus in the acolyte. I wonder Amanadla's character will have a lightsaber in one of those eight episodes. If Giancarlo Esposito's character does return in the Mandalorian season 4 or Jon Favreau's star wars movie, then he would make red darksaber and Pedro Pascal's character will find a lightsaber so we can have lightsaber duels in both of these projects.If I was Lucasfilm president, I would keep making star wars movies that are in between revenge of the Sith and a new hope along with the events in between return of the Jedi and the force awakens.
I'm not sure what I would do. I never thought about that particular line of possibilities.

Well animated versions of the movie trilogies.
Use the stories that make sense, and change the parts that don’t. That seems to be what Fiioni is doing, and he seems to have advocated it across the franchise. You don’t stick to those books religiously because they don’t all film well, and to be honest, there are some terrible stories in there as well. There are rich ideas that could work within the right context but we need to acknowledge some of it is awful as well. I’d like some Leia as well. I know it’s not straightforward because of Carrie’s passing, but her daughter would probably look really close t her, and it would maybe feel right to have her continue her mom’s legacy. The most important part of any Star Wars project is a good story, and not to lean too heavily on acrobatics and lightsabers. We all want lightsaber duels, but there has to be reasons to whip them out and have them there.
Everything revealed about this show to this point suggests that the Sith will be very a very limited part of the narrative. I do not expect to see any Sith. Perhaps indirectly through other characters there will be references to the Sith, or perhaps they will act through characters in the show. I think back to Qui-Gon's "I wish that were so," in reference to Anakin Skywalker's line 'no one can kill a Jedi'. Categorically the Sith were not a consideration in that scene. So who did Qui-Gon have in mind in that exchange? This show will likely be exploring that and not the Sith.

That being said ...
As the new President of LF, I would have re-editions of SOME EU stuff. Not all 😂 The Plagues novel as an example, doesn't need much editing to fit canon.
I would do Clone Wars style animation, and make series and movies. Happening between the PT and OT as now. Between the OT and ST as well and between Empire and Jedi. SOME EU stuff would be used for movies here as well, where the source material may be to weird to just edit 🤪
Movies in the art style could be Dark Disciple, Son of Dathomir, Legends of Luke Skywalker etc. A series could be an adaptation of the books "from a certain point of view".
Thirdly I would ask for the OT to be re-released in the original form, to please that part of the fandom - same time, I would have Dave, Jon and Lucas himself (if he could be convinced) to go through the OT, PT and ST and make a Final Cut Edition, where they make small adjustments and CGI updates, to make an red thread, and to make the ST fit better together. For example, the Palpatine broadcast has to be heard in the end of TFA or TLJ, and maybe some kind of interaction between Palpitatine and Snoke earlier. Maybe put Hayden under the mask in ROTJ as well 😇
There's lots of good reasons to check this show out. However I'm still a bit put off with Disney breaking the rule of two with the concept of an acolyte. But if this story turns out to be pretty good I'm willing to let it slide.
What would I do on day one?
1) Turn Filoni and Favreau loose to create a live-action theatrical movie adaptation of my favorite SW novel ever: Han Solo at Stars' End.
2) Recast all of the OT main characters (Luke, Leia, Han, Chewie, Lando) and green-light a multi-season streaming show set just after the Battle of Endor, showing the rest of the war and the development of Luke and Leia's sibling relationship, Leia and Han's romantic relationship, and Luke's continued studies of the Force and rediscovery of Jedi history.
3) Revamp the Galactic Starcruiser into a regular themed hotel that's affordable for the average vacationer and open one at every Disney park worldwide. Plus big ones in Las Vegas and other major tourist destinations, each themed to the surroundings - Asian locations could be Yavin 4 or Degobah themed; Pacific islands could be Ach-to themed; northern Europe locations could be Hoth themed; Monte Carlo would have to be Canto Bight; and Vegas would naturally be Tattoine. Maybe Corruscant could be in the heart of NYC.
Btw...If it's true that the series is going to follow the Rashomon format then we will get the same story told four different ways by four different characters. In the trailer we have I believe these four points of view: the Acolyte Mae, Master Sol, Jedi Yord Fandar or the Palawan Jaecki Fon and a fourth person as of yet unknown, not a force user. The contrast of each view is meant to help the viewer see a more complex view of the Jedi. Its inspiring to know that the things that influenced Mr Lucas are still informing these amazing stories.
I would make Book of Boba Fett disappear forever and do it again but without destroying the character, making it less dumb comedy but dark and more violent. Similar to the legends comics.
Perhaps, but i also personally felt that Boba bring less warmongering was well in line with his lineage with the super commandos as opposed to the more belligerent warrior factions like death watch. Still, I don’t think boba in the BOBF timeline won’t do what needs to be done when the time comes. Just my opinion tho
I still think the big baddie will be Master Sol-I think a hint was dropped in the side mural art of the Acolyte Black Series packaging. His saber's emitter end looks a lot like the red blade at the end of the trailer. Plus his line in the trailer to the younlings was that one's eyes could be deceptive and were not to be trusted. He has a past with Mae, which she's labeled as an assassin, but that could be a big misdirect too.
If I were president, I’d canonize SWTOR but that would diminish the current Emperor for Tebabrae. But I’d love to see an animated series in the style of the Bad Batch around Darth Malgus
I would go full force on the animated front. Make a tales of the bounty hunters. Make an animated 'from a certain point of view show'.
If she said that, “… and one is in the shadows”, it lends credence to it being Darth Tenebrous, because the word tenebrous in English means shadowy. I don’t know if this is true or not, I just think it’s interesting.
Yes, I’d love an Heir to the Empire Trilogy, with Thrawn and a de-aged Luke.
Day one I'd start drawing up plans for an Old Republic show (or shows), I'd canonise mara jade and potentially use her story arcs to go into more detail why Luke was so useless in the sequel trilogy (explore his fall to despair, from the unshakeable hero he'd become at the end of ROTJ), I'd probably also want to try a few "different" in universe takes, a horror movie (perhaps the zombie stormtroopers or the drengir would be good for that), a guy ritchie style underworld/crime syndicate movie, a jango fett prequel to the prequel movies movie (perhaps even connect this with the underworld/ crime movie somehow with a cameo or something), and definitely continue the animated series because I'm a huge fan of Rebels, TCW and Bad Batch. :D
revive the Expanded Universe books! we want to know how the storylines evolved
As Lucasfilm Exec, I would green light a Rogue Squadron ensemble TV Series, similar to the A. Allston and M. Stackpole book series. Not exact, but similar, involving some of the espionage aspects and fighter squadron action. Rebellion era or New Republic, open to either.
Hmmm good question. Create a writers’ room and start taking steps to repair the damage done during the strike. Maybe evaluate the progress that had been made towards making Mando s4 and see if there isn’t a way to bring it back to the small screen once the Mandalorian and Grogu movie comes out. Also what people were saying about blurring the line between canon and legends. Maybe do some more work on the animated side of things. And for God’s sake look for someone to replace KK.
I would want an origins of the Force and learn about the 1st user
If I were president of Lucasfilm, I would make Timothy Zahn's origial Thrawn trilogy novels into films because I think many fans would love that, and hopefully Lars Mikkelsen would reprise his role as Thrawn beause, in my opinion, he has done an awesome job in both Rebels and Ahsoka.
What about Plagueis. He should be the Sith at that time.
First I would make episode 7, 8, 9 all a fever dream making them no longer canon and leave the originals six films as start to finish the story of the skywalker saga.
2nd for my own interest, I would explore the plagueis novel capturing it on the big screen from the point of view of the sith episode 1.
Finally after those two decisions move directly away from the Skywalker movies and focus years of movies, trilogies or otherwise upon the old Republic.
I would do a Darth Bane time line the sith that changed everything from many sith fighting each other for power to the rule of 2 master and student.
Bring Mara Jade back into Canon. Establish that Luke has a child with her but was unaware of it upon his death in last Jedi?

I think doing something new and edgy would be the way to go, if you want something new. But the reason SOLO flopped was mostly because it was tamed down. A younger solo would have gotten in trouble and should have been very cocky about this attitude and with other people. It would have been impressive if they even had a scenario where he was hired by Jabba with Greeto somewhere in the movie that adds up to the tattooine scene we saw in IV. I think the actor did a decent job, but he was limited in acting like Han Solo really was. If you’re gonna make movies before IV have the actors portray them the way the classics would have, otherwise it’s just another actor.
I would make live action Star Wars exclusively for the movies and for TV/streaming just do animation

Does the TL line up for it to be Tenebrous?
That would be fine if David is Darth Tenebrous. Unfortunately, we don't know much about Tenebrous's master, and according to legends, his master was a Twi'lek and died 167 years before the destruction of the first Death Star. But I believe that that timeline is incorrect, because that wouldn't allow for much time for the Twi'lek Sith Lord, then Tenebrous, Plagueis, and then Palpatine. So, David would probably fit better within the Star Wars timeline as Darth Tenebrous.
What would I do if I were in charge of Star Wars? I would do a whodunnit set within the era just before Darth Bane (about 1050 BBY) that would focus on world building and the Star Wars universe, and then slowly build into the Darth Bane story and then go full into Darth Bane. We would truly and fully explore the Dark Side of the Force, and truly understand it and what it's all about, and the Rule of Two. And then we would explore Darth Zannah, and how she would succeed Bane. I would explore this angle of Star Wars, that would explain why there are always two Sith, and explain why the Jedi in The Phantom Menace say that the Sith have been extinct for a millennia, etc..

I think we should have a story involving the horrifying mysterious Starweird species seeing one in live action would be awesome but I think they would really do well as a boss fight in a Star Wars video game
So much I would want to do as Lucasfilm leader. Greenlight Kenobi season 2. Bring onboard successful writers and directors of Detective or police procedural programmes and develop a series following a grizzled detective who had worked in the Republic Investigation Bureau the RIB and finds himself working for the IIB, Imperial Investigation Bureau. He/She will travel throughout the Galaxy investigating major crimes, particular murder.
Aside from a few Star Wars characters being nurfed. I’ve enjoyed everything and I honestly think it’s all being taken way too seriously. I’m looking forward to something in this timeline. I liked the prequels and all the Jedi council stuff so I’m sure I’ll like this. Definitely have to explain how the Sith are not remembered after this though. Since none have existed for a 1000 years. But even that detail can be fixed up. For example, Yoda will obviously do a cover up and he will be the next character to get all the heat. But you know what? Maybe he’s just so old he thinks everything and everyone will work themselves out. In a way it’s kinda fitting. He was the one that knew that Kamino was probably erased because he was guilty of erasing data himself. And when he was exiled to the swamp he was done with it all.
Dive into Revan’s story … all of it !!
Just continue the Legends Storyline. There is no reason why it couldn't continue, especially with how common multiverses are now.

Darth Bane movie trilogy with an open world game that stars you in the sith academy
If I was suddenly in charge, I would bring back the original Star Wariors back. I would find a new cast to play Luke, Han and Leia and start a series set around Splinter of The Minds Eye. I would also have this cast begin to work in the gap era between Star Wars and the wretched Disney films. I would also work Luke back into the Rey film as well as introducing Han and Leia's other children. I would have the Sith begin to play a larger role in the future of Star Wars in Rey's universe. But mostly, I would stop avoiding the world that George Lucas created and go back to making some adventures of Luke Skywalker. Perhaps even undoing the last trilogy.
As head of Lucasfilm, I'd selfishly want to know which planet Yoda came from

Explore more of the sith history and do an old republic movies, make them more targeted at adults, these movies could be either live action or animation. The standard of the bad batch animation has been great, so I think more of that standard would be great. But must make sure to focus on all the siths not just one sex, a good movie would be Darth Bane and his apprentice (Zannah)

So is this a three way story? Jedi, Sith, and Grey Jedi in between? Wonder if the Sith may also be opposed to the greay jedi sicne they want to remain secret and undiscovered by teh Jedi…… since in the prequels the Jedi “think” the sith have been gone for a thousand years.

Introduce the Lost sith colony into the future movie's after rise of Skywalker
First thing I'd do is nothing. Get the lay of it all and have some long discussions with George Lucas, John Favreau and Dave Filoni about the future of Star Wars and what they'd like to see in both in film and streaming. I'd emphasize story telling and get away from any politics that aren't part of the galaxy far far away. But make it about the stories being told as the first priority.
I would bring back Mara Jade and make a live action film version of Shadows of The Empire if I was in charge of Lucasfilm.
If I woke up as president of LucasFilm, I would call Starwars Meg and desperately plead for advice.
Away from the desk, I would fly to England and take a trip from London up the eastern shoreline to Newcastle Upon Tyne before I lost my job and couldn't afford it.
