Wow! My favorite stream yet. Very unique idea and execution. Love the application of how music theory, synthesis, and effects can be used to make sounds convey emotion and movement through the scene. Keep this stuff coming!
If I could figure out how to do this type of content all the time I would! With Romulus it seemed like a perfect fit - digging through movies coming out soon it doesn't seem promising at all. Maybe a Silent Hill 2 stream when it comes out. I'm open to any ideas!
Such a great stream! I really enjoyed it and learned so much! Loved it. I loved how much life you were injecting to the sounds with tasty modulations and that echo/reverb!!! I’m already looking forward to today’s session! 😎
Thank you for showing how some of the iconic soundscapes and music for the Alien series was created. This has given me some ideas on creative uses for delays and tape delays. Although, I only have VST versions but it will be interesting to find out if I can create similar sounds "in the box."
Damn, that's the best demo for the RE-501 I've ever heard. Scary train sound indeed. I think Trent used one on his second album.: "Get to the Chopper!"
Damn that’s badass, was thinking about getting the Polysix vst , definitely gonna get it now, and yes I know your using the mono/poly was actually considering getting the Behringer clone of that in hardware, but I’m new to synths so I would not really even know where to start
@33.30 great to listen to this while editing a project, the soundscapes are great. Triggers the imagination :-D. Interested in the orchestral side, haven't seen Romulus though. One you might be interested in is blue thunder movie. I read somewhere it was intended to be an orchestral soundtrack but changed to synth driven instead and IMO totally darkened the whole feel of the movie :-) Explore some john carpenter movies too.
@@VultureCulture Respectfully disagree on this one :D Given the choice between hearing the first few words from what you are trying to convey OR the long release of a patch we've been listening to.you play ... i mean
Why don’t these guys use kyma7 because I know they have access to it ….i have just be honest used with a fatah keyboard it would make the a world of difference …. When you work in these environments you they have certain things…. Unless they utilized a vendor … who’s incredible either way..with sound particles and kyma7 you can go full “scanners” on the audience… that and infrasonics.. I’ve been a holophonic quadraphonic surround and HOA nerd since I was a wee lad in the early 90s’q

Wow!! So many amazing sounds! I Absolutely LOVED hearing the Korg MonoPoly ; Analog sounds are my favorite. The tape echo was the cherry on top!
Glad you enjoyed 🙏

Thank you again for hanging around! I can't praise your music highly enough!

Please let me know if there are any good plugins I should check out!
I like it when you get into sound design

Thank you! I hope to do more streams like this!

I'll definitely have to check that out!
Great stream. Why cant we have more movie reviews like this?
I'd love to do more stuff like this!
Have you ever listened Alpha Centauri from Tangerine Dream. Spooky👊. Cheera
I haven't! I'll have to check it out!
Dude that soundtrack fucked so hard
It was intense!
My friend Logan did the video glitch on Romulus Tachyons + gear cv driven I use his gear in intermedia…
That's so cool!
@@VultureCulturehe recommends a imax so that’s what I’ve been hunting for …
the re-501 is drowing out the simultaneous commentary. Sidechain it to your vocal so the signal ducks when you chime in?
It is side chained but the other way around, so my voice doesn't drown out the sounds, which I think is more important.

@@VultureCulture happy medium... no sidechain?
I appreciate the criticism 🙏

It's a minor or a major 7, not flat or sharp...
