- In this interview, my Fiancee Tori interviews Ted and I about our experience on Alone. Ted and I won season 4 of the series after spending 75 days surviving on Vancouver Island through the fall and winter. Apparently the two of us doing a concise interview together without becoming annoyed and squabbling is next to impossible, so I had to include some "out-takes" and disagreements. We did this interview right before the last episode aired and our win was official. Questions Tori asks are: What was the first thing you ate when you got out? What are the latest adventures you've done? What are you going to do with the money you won? Would you do it again? and, What would you do differently if you were to do it again?

What ended up being wrong with Ted's stomach? I'm sorry, I guess I missed that in the show. I just remember him being pretty sick and hurting. You guys are awesome by the way!
Well we don't really know for sure but he has acid reflux problems, and we saved our rations till very late in the game. We think when we ate them, because we weren't used to normal food, it caused Ted's flare up.

The last time my brother and I were in a canoe we faught like hell. Started with splashing my brother and we finally made it back soaking wet. Lucky we didn't kill each other or tip the canoe and sink it #$%#@ great time!
Haha, great story my. I once heard someone say “tandem canoeing is the burial ground for relationships” me and Ted do get into fights but we usually get over them pretty quickly.
@@JimBairdAdventurer I think brothers forgive each other pretty quick we tend to vent on each other. Next day best friends again.

What was some of your thoughts on the footage they used for you guys? I was there once as Larry from season 2 watched and sometimes to his surprise saw what they threw in there. Btw looks like you guys needed a wrestle match to start this thing off lol. No you guys really did a great job out there with your team work. Best comment yet Ted:"What about no body can suffer like us?".... Jim"....Well that still might be true" Awesome!
I think they did a great job. There were some other interesting things we made that didn't get in, like the paddles I made. And I talked about how I kept positive out there that didn't get in. But, we gave them a lot of drama and humor, which is what they used, and likely more entertaining. There's so much footage to go through, and it's impossible to show everything. And I'm sure it's a challenge to build a concise story our of the endless amounts of footage we shot.

Hello guys. Sorry if my English is not so god but just watched the final episode of alone on Swedish television. Congratiolation to the both of you. Really I thougt that you were going to quit after eating that rotten fish, haha.... But you and everyone where eating water something…. you had bow and arrows was it so difficult to shot animals in the woods? I thougt that this should been a prioraty to get meat for a week or so. Please tell me why it wasnt so... Best regards Michael from Sweden..... Wilderness freak.. hehe
Mikael Fröström hey, glad you enjoyed the show. We did use our bow to hunt ducks but we only used it twice and missed both shots, it didn’t get in the show. Other game we could have hunted with the bow are black bear and deer. However baiting black bear we were not aloud and we were only aloud to take a buck deer and no doe. Most black bears were hibernating after the first month or so. There are no rabbits there and very little small game in general. The bow is good for opportunistic hunting, but to spend the time and energy to actively hunt out there would take a lot of energy, and if you were unable to arrow an animal after trying for several hours, you will have no food. At least when you fish and forage you are more or less guaranteed to get something. So, I guess the reason we didn’t hunt is because, in our specific location and our situation, chances are that it would have made things harder for us.
Funny as hell
They both need to have a female counterpart to learn to act civil and how to choose words wisely... as it is the two have no filter in the brothers verbal interactions. Tori, it must be a struggle for Jim to learn a new way to have a conversation.
