Awesome time! TCAT did ok considering the powder we rode in. Definitely should have been on the XCR. This is where the Assaults and Backcountry shine! 👍🏼❄️
It was awesome bro. Glad you joined us and we got to ride together for the last one of the season. Haha yes the tcat did ok.. even Kev got her buried twice on that one trail lol. Ya the XCR would have been better - theres always next year! Cheers, Jess
We were there on March 1st this year and it was excellent! Ended up selling my 2009 Yamaha and bought a 2024 Ski Doo Exp SE with 900 Ace because we loved it so much and want to do a lot more of it!
We were there that weekend too, it was nice to meet you Jesse, thanks I might have taken you up on your offer to loan me your spare sled if I hadn't already rented one after my track blew. Fun fact, Steve Rented his Lynx to a member of our group that had his chaincase shit the bed on his brand new Thundercat. He's a great guy, and definitely helped us out
Nice to meet you too brother! Yes I remember :) Thats awesome!! People up there are always so nice and giving - that's why we love that community so much. Cheers, Jesse
Wow that’s awesome! I see you got a new sled this year…. I am getting the same one but 129” on Thursday. Maybe I’ll see you guys out on the trails this year. Keep up the great videos!
Hey Mike I thought about an Assault I like my G5 Blizzard but I was stuck a few times in the Canyon this year and had to plan ahead to much. A 146 is so versatile I’m beginning to think about one for my next sled as I’ve not heard anything bad said about them.
Hey. I just finished recording my end of season review on the Backcountry which comes out next Thursday so check it out. I think it sounds like a great fit for you given you do both on and off-trail. I have nothing bad to say about it. Most fun and capable sled I've ever ridden and is my favourite sled yet. Cheers, Mike
It's the same as any other skidoo 850. Riding fairly hard, we get about 400kms to a tank of oil and about 175kms to a tank of fuel. If you are on the gas, they drink. If you take it easy, you will notice a big improvement in both fuel mileage and oil usage. Cheers, Mike
Looks like a good time good work guys till next season
Thanks bud! It was a great way to end off the season on a high note. Cheers, Jesse
Good job guys !!

I am just curious what the gas and oil usage is on the backcountry as I am thinking about getting one for next season
