One of the most emotional songs I've ever heard and they never put it in AC3! :'(
I have never played the game, let alone series, but this is one of the best songs made for anything let alone a game

rafael trejo I picture I fireball from a hydrogen bomb rising above the clouds .......why you may ask....well first time I heard this was on a nuclear tests documentary called the test. This track played during a part where they were showing footage from the biggest US hydrogen bomb test called castle bravo which was 15 megatons. Destructive beauty, this music and the sight of a 4 mile wide fireball rising into the air from a shot taken from an airplane 50 miles away just stuck in my head and strangely suited the image. By the way I had no idea at the time that this music was from assassins Creed 3 never mind composed by Jesper kyd one of my favorite game composers. Im now playing ac3 as a result.

It is an absolute shame that we lost Jesper Kyd. One, Assassin's Creeds composition style IS Jesper Kyd's style. Two, Lorne Balfe is good but only when working together with Kyd, i.e. Revelations. AC belongs to Jesper Kyd, and no one else can match him. On an unrelated note, it also sucks that Kyd didn't do the soundtrack for Hitman Absolution.

It was never in the game... I dont know why.. It should have been, it is one of the most beautiful pieces of music Jesper Kyd has made. I always come back to this track once in a while, been doing so for almost 10 years :D But, it could easily be put in a movie in some sort of battle scene it would gain massive attention i'm sure

What do you mean, what do I mean "He's Lost"? Aphelion and other Jesper Kyd songs were never on the AC III OST, AC III's soundtrack was done entirely by Lorne Balfe. A huge shame. but hopefully he comes back for AC IV.

This music was made by a starbound fan, I searched it up on youtube for my playlist. it goes great with a Sci-Fi Setting.
Lorne balfe did compose the final soundtrack, but this was worked on for a number of years before it was released, being started around the time that Brotherhood was released. My theory is that since Kyd was still on the team, that he started on this soundtrack beforehand, creating this.
It's by Jesper Kyd, no Lorna Balfe or some random starbound fan, and it's a promo song, it's not actually featured in the game

At first I thought "Angel of War" was composed by Lorne Balfe, and I was extremely surprised. But I later learned that Alessio Nanni and Daniel Lessner did it without assistance from Balfe at all, deeply disappointing.

Earth and Ezio's Family by Jesper Kyd are similar, and if we're sticking with Assassin's Creed then Connor's Life by Lorne Balfe is in the same vein. Also Absolute Magnitude by Jesper Kyd uses the same melody but in a different way.
