What's wrong with you guys? This guitar is overpriced. $6-7K just because it's a Satriani model with an atypical finish. Better to get an Ibanez JS2400 for three times less money and and you'll enjoy it, trust me :)
When I went to see Joe at a concert one of the lights on the stage hit that guitar and sent a beam of light straight at my face and blinded me for a few seconds it was a magical experience hahaha it was awesome.

Face them head on haha I took a dare and didn’t wipe my Les Paul for almost a year, I did say almost, so my punishment was not being allowed to wipe any of them down properly before during or after playing except the neck, around the pick ups and hardware etc.

A listing for this guitar on a prominent web authorized Ibanez retailer says it is no longer available because the manufacturer has discontinued or cancelled it.
Superb comfortability to play with , but changing a string is a nightmare especially during a gig,why not make a locking thing that will lock the bridge while changing a string?
I just use a old rubber eraser to hold mine when doing a string change one that's cut so the trem arm stays in it's correct position plus it won't scratch or mare the finish .
I love all these signature guitars, but I don't want to instantly look like Joe or Vai or whoever on stage. I'm sure it's an amazing guitar though. The Satchur8 is definitely a fantastic main humbucker.
Is the new album performed on the new guitar? Ibanez JS1CR30? Just curious? Trying to find ANY Satchur-8 PICKUP reviews is impossible, literally. The album would be the only resource, so just checking. This is a 6K plus guitar..looks nice:)
This would be great if they weren't already sold out everywhere. Nothing beats when your vendors sell them all internally to their workers before the public even gets a shot. Although at $5k, I'd just buy a JS24P and have it plated myself.

Most definitely. The first stock of JS10 chrome boys had some issues with the chrome flaking but it was fixed quickly. However bare in mind that it is a sensitive finish and it'll scratch easily unless you apply a PPF which i highly recommended anyway.
the problem here it's for the very very very high price, there is not a contoured body : ( like the new super strat or Beck 's model, cutlass, ibanez az etc. so not a fantastic comfort
After paying full upfront, last January, and waiting a full year for this guitar, I was very unhappy that when I went to pick it up today. It does not work. The sustainiac does not engage and the pick up switch has a bad connection. Unfortunately, I had refused delivery at this point from Sam Ash. Ibanez, Why did it take a year to deliver a guitar that is defective?
You realize that Ibanez would have fixed the guitar right? Waiting a full year for the guitar is more on Sam Ash than on Ibanez I would think but even if it's not I would imagine a guitar like this would be in high demand which is why it took so long. Still it's kinda strange that you would not even try to get the guitar fixed and then come here and complain.
I think I just came in my pants,once I Clean up I am going to buy one & maybe a spare incase(get it?in case)I lose the first one but seriously I am heading to The Ibanez Centre now
